The Alpha King's Hybrid Mate -
Chapter 42
The guard locked the door with a metal chain as Sara settled in the dark, cold cell room. Since she was the Luna of the pack, her cell was a bit better than others.
"My Luna, please take care of yourself. I will visit you occasionally." Violet said with a teary voice. Sara knew she could break down anytime soon, so she moved closer to her and held her hands through the little openings on the cell door.
She smiled at her, and gently rubbed her hands.
"Don't cry. Just wait for me, I will be out soon. Let's trust in Killian." Sara consoled her, while Violet wiped her tears.
"Alright, my Luna." She said, and slowly stood up. She waved Sara goodbye and walked out of the prison.
Sara sighed, and rested her back on the wall. She began to think about her life, how she had been despised in her previous pack for being mate-less, and how the members of her new pack target her out of jealousy. But thankfully, she had someone that truly cares for her, she had Killian.
It was just a few more minutes of brooding did she begin to fall asleep. She fell so heavily asleep as if she was drawn into the sleep.
Suddenly, she found herself in a starry space, glowing with countless beautiful stars. But the place was void of everything except stars. She looked around herself but couldn't replace anyone.
"Is anyone here? Where am I?" She yelled out loud but received no response. She could remember very well that she was in the prison room a few moments ago. How she suddenly appeared in the space was a surprise to her.
"Hello, is anyone here?" She shouted again, and still received no response. The awkward silence made her shiver, and she rolled her eyes over the place.
Suddenly, she heard a loud footsteps walking close to her, more like the person was walking on a high heels which made such a loud knocking noise.
She turned her eyes in the direction of the noise, but to her astonishment, she saw nothing but the stars that filled the area.
She began to grow suspicious and fearful.
"Who are you? Did you draw me into this place? Show yourself." She screamed nervously, but still received no response.
Finally, a light shone brightly into her eyes, and she passed out.
When she slowly opened her eyes again, she found herself lying on a bed in a small cottage. A woman stood in front of her, with the woman's back facing Sara. She was tall, and had long, dark hair.
"Who are you? And why am I here?" Sara asked the strange woman.
The woman smiled, and turned to Sara. To Sara's bewilderment, she looked exactly the same as her.
"You! Why do you have the same face as me? Who exactly are you?" Sara screamed, as she instantly rose from the bed. Her heart raced wildly, but the calm smile the woman wore hinted her that she was safe.
"Shouldn't I ask you the questions? Why do you have the same face as me? And do you know who exactly you are?" The woman asked, and Sara's face furrowed in confusion.
"What do you mean?" Sara asked her. She had lost her parents since childhood, so she had no clue as to who she was.
"I know the answers to those questions, and that's why I called you here." The woman said, and walked to a cupboard where she took out a book.
"I won't give you an answer to the first question right now, but do you know who you truly are? You are a hybrid, a part-witch and a part-wolf." The stranger said, and Sara's mouth dropped. She had heard similar words from the moon priestess, and it suprised her how the strange woman knew about it.
"Who are you? You can't be the moon goddess, right?" Sara asked again, while the woman smiled.
"Who am I doesn't matter right now. What matters is that you replace out your inner self, and that's why I am here to help you." The woman replied. She threw the book at Sara.

"Why? Why do you want to help me? I don't believe you just want to help me without any reason." Sara asked the woman.
"Whatever reason I have to help you is my business, don't worry about it. But you have to trust me. A great battle is looming, a battle between the witches and the werewolves. Only a hybrid like you can stop the war, and it's very important you know that you are the last hybrid on earth."
Sara stared at the book in confusion, she checked through the pages, and a series of spells was written in the book.
"Learn those spells, they will help you replace out who you are." The strange woman said, and began to slowly disappear.
"Wait, you didn't tell me..." A huge force hit her, and she felt herself falling, she felt as if she was falling down a huge mountain, which caused her to scream so loud.
"Luna Sara, Luna Sara." A voice called out, and Sara suddenly opened her eyes. "What's wrong? You were screaming in your sleep." A guard said. Only then did it occur to her that it was a nightmare. She was sweating so much that her cloth was soaking in her sweat.
"I am fine, thanks." She said to the guard, who nodded and walked away.
"It was a nightmare. Who was that woman? And the book..." She paused when her hand hit something on her laps. She flung her eyes on her laps, and her eyes opened wide, it was the book.
