"Where am I? Why does this place feel so familiar?" Sara muttered as she glanced at the blue space that surrounded her. Everywhere was silent, and she could see the beautiful meteors that flew past her.

She became a bit agitated when she heard some knocking footsteps approaching her.

"Sara, Sara." A voice echoed, which sent chilly waves down her spine. The voice was sharp, yet tender. It seemed as though the owner of the voice had a lot to say to her.

"Who are you? Just show yourself." Sara pleaded but everywhere fell silent. Rather, she saw a screen in front of her, in which a young man approached a lady who looked like her. Sara was surprised at the shocking resemblance between her and the lady on the screen, she also tried to see the man's face, but it was blurred.

The man smiled at the lady and extended his hand to her. The lady couldn't help the man's handsomeness and hurriedly grabbed his hand. She followed him and agreed to love him. Sara felt a bit calm by the story that was shown to her, but the ending made her cringe so much that she didn't know when tears streamed down her cheeks.

The lady, though living with the man, was always depressed and never happy for a moment. She became hypertensive as a result of the depression and fell gravely ill. Sara was still staring at the screen when she felt a cold substance placed on her head. The object was so cold that she began to shiver.

She wrapped her arms around her body, feeling extremely cold. She touched her forehead, but to her surprise, she couldn't replace anything, only then did she realize that it was a dream.

"You are awake." An old man said to her, smiling at her as he wiped her forehead with a cloth dipped in ice water. No wonder she felt so cold in her dream.

Sara stared at the man, wondering who he was and how he appeared in her room.

The old man placed his hand on her head, aiming to check her temperature but Sara slowly pulled off his hand.

"Who are you? And how did you enter my room?" Sara asked the old man, who had a shocking expression on his face.

"Your room?" The old man asked in surprise, rolling his eyes all over the room, he furrowed his brows and shrugged his shoulders.

Sara then glanced at her surroundings, only to realize that she was mistaken. It wasn't her room, in fact, everything was different. The settings, aesthetics, and design, all of them was different from the land of the wolves.

"Where...where am I?" She stammered, her heart racing as she looked at the old man, waiting for his answer.

"San Francisco, Greenwood's city." The old man replied, wondering what was wrong with her. She sounded strange to him, and he couldn't wait to ask him his own questions.

Judging from the way Sara dressed, he knew she was not someone from his country.

"San Francisco?" Sara thought to herself. She ran to the window and glanced through it. Her mouth dropped in shock, and her entire world crashed. This wasn't the wolf's land, the tall skyscrapers, the moving cars, and the shining billboards. Everything radiated life and sophistication.

"This is not the red moon pack, I am in the human world." She mumbled to herself, wondering how she had arrived at the Hunan's world.

The last thing she could remember was the moon priestess announcing to her that she had been mated to the Alpha of their pack, Zayne.

"I guess it's my turn to ask questions now." The old man said as he approached her. He leaned on his walking stick and bent beside her.

Sara was still troubled by her sudden appearance in the human world. The old man had to clear his throat again before gaining her attention.

"I saw you at the side of the lake last night, how did you appear there? If you know you can't swim, why did you go to the lakeside? Moreover, didn't you know you are pregnant? How could you be so careless?" The old man asked all at once that Sara wondered which one of them she would answer first. But one of his questions caught her interest.

"Wait...what did you just ask me?" Sara asked, her eyeballs bulging as she turned to the old man.

"I asked lots of questions, which one of them specifically?" The old man teased, breaking into a loud laughter, more like a growing child.

Sara began to sweat profusely. She placed her hand on her belly and stared at her stomach.

"Oh! That one? The doctor that treated you confirmed that you are four months pregnant." The old man said smilingly. She was about to congratulate her, when Sara suddenly staggered, sending the words back to the old man's mouth.

"How's that possible? I am pregnant? I have not even accepted the mate bond with Alpha Zayne, how could I possibly be pregnant? Besides... four months?" She thought wildly. Nothing was making sense to her. She stared at her belly, and truth be told, she could sense the signs of pregnancy.

"It was just last night that I was mated to him, no man had ever touched me, and how did four months pass quickly?" She felt as if she was going crazy as a multitude of thoughts collided in her brain. She racked her brain hard to remember all that had happened, but it was all in vain. She would always have a terrible headache whenever she tried to recall matters of the past.

"Wait. You said you found me by the lake? How did I get there?" She asked, leaving the old man in a state of shock.

"How could I possibly know? I was just asking you."

Sara staggered, her veins throbbing hard. How will she return to her pack, and who will accept her if they know of her pregnancy?

She began to feel so heated despite staying by the window side.

Suddenly, a man dressed like a doctor walked into the room. He greeted the old man and informed Sara that he was there to treat her.

"It seems you've forgotten somethings, he lives next to me, so I texted him to come as soon as possible. He is a neurosurgeon." The old man said with a smile.

Sara wondered what a neurosurgeon was, but whoever the man was, she knew he was there to help her.

The young man took some medical equipment and examined Sara. He let out a sigh and turned to the old man.

"Just as suspected, she has amnesia."
