The Alpha King's Hybrid Mate -
Chapter 7
Sara's pulse raced as she regained her consciousness, her eyes were covered, and a cloth was stuffed into her mouth which prevented her from screaming.
She struggled to stand up as some footsteps approached her hurriedly, but her legs and hands were both tied. She could tell that it wasn't a single person, as they marched towards her.
"What do we do with her?" A man said. His voice was deep, and it echoed inside the cave that Sara was kept.
"Let's wait for her orders." The other man replied. His voice, though deep, was a bit softer than the first man's.
Suddenly, Another footstep could be heard approaching them, which was rather soft and elegant. Whoever was coming must be an elegant and beautiful lady.
The men bowed before her, and called her;
"My lady," they greeted, and Sara wondered who the person could be.
The only thing she could sense from the lady was her strong scent which filled up her nostrils.
"Nice job." The lady said coldly. Her icy voice was in total contrast to how soft and elegant she carried herself. "How do we deal with her?" The deep-voiced man asked, which caused the lady to laugh out mischievously.
"I want every piece of her, I want her to die a slow and terrible death, I want her to pay for stealing my love from me." She screamed, and Sara shook in fear.
Sara immediately started groaning, she wriggled vigorously as she tried to free herself, but all her efforts were futile. The lady walked closer to Sara and knelt beside her, she moved her fingers gently on Sara's face, and sniffed her scent.
"What if I destroy this beautiful face of yours? So you won't be able to seduce men again." The lady said with her traumatizing laugh, which made Sara shiver. She took out a knife and placed in on Sara's face.
Sara screamed, but the cloth in her mouth prevented her screams to be heard outside.
The lady stood up and turned her back against Sara.

her.
"I have reconsidered, I have a better way to end you." She said, and clapped her hands.
Two men walked in with a big-sized coffin, they placed it before Sara, and forced her inside.
"I said it, I will make you die a slow and terrible death." She yelled, as she lifted her two hands, displaying her power and dominance. The four hefty men went on their knees and bowed before her.
Meanwhile, Killian was having a hard time concentrating in his meeting with the council elders. His heart thud heavily and he always felt as if something bad would happen.
He ended the meeting in a hurry and rushed to Sara's room.
"Where's Sara?" Killian asked Violet as he entered the room.
"I also can't replace her. I have searched everywhere but I can't just seem to replace her." Violet replied hurriedly.
"Where did she go?" He asked.
"To the market. She went to get some groceries." Violet answered, her voice shaking as she dreaded something bad happening to Sara.
"Since when did she leave?"

"About three hours now." Said Sara.
Killian's eyes rolled as he calculated where Sara might probably be at the moment.
He ran out of the room, and instructed some guards to turn down the whole city in search of his Luna.
He headed towards the market himself,
"Where's
my
Luna? I heard she shopped from you." Killian asked the woman Sara had gotten her groceries from. "My Alpha, she left a while ago. She should be home now." The lady muttered in fear. She was even more afraid of Killian punishing her for disrespecting Sara a while ago.
Killian ran out of the store and stopped suddenly, he felt a great pain in his heart, as if something sharp was piercing through him.
"Oh no! Sara is in danger." He thought to himself as he panted heavily.
His eyes turned red, and he channeled all of his energy into his nostrils, trying to sense Sara's aura no matter how hidden it might be. He suddenly opened his eyes as he caught a streak of her scent.
"Got it." He muttered, and he ran towards the direction of the scent.
Meanwhile, Sara had been placed in the air-tight coffin, and after five minutes, whoever was placed inside it would have suffocated to death. The lady placed a clock on the coffin as she laughed crazily.
The clock ticked slowly, and Sara struggled to free herself.
Killian also ran at his top speed, the pain he felt in his heart had multiplied, which hinted him that Sara was in imminent danger.

He immediately screeched to a halt when Sara's scent suddenly disappeared. No matter how hard he tried, he just couldn't sense her scent again. He was sure the villain must have planned it out well.
He decided to keep running in that same direction, but he met with another problem, a crossroad.
He wasn't sure of which road to choose, and he couldn't sense Sara's scent again.
As the clock continued tickling, Sara screamed in pain and agony, while Killian's heart raced in pain as he struggled to replace his way.
He closed his eyes, and followed his heart. Soon enough, he could sense her scent again, and he took to his heels with immediate effect, in a speed greater than the speed of light.
Sara prayed weakly in the coffin as she hoped to see Killian for the last time, she also wished he could just appear miraculously and save her from the critical situation.
With thirty seconds left on the clock, Sara began to gasp for air as she struggled to breath.
Suddenly, a loud scream erupted into the air as the four men was hit by Killian's huge blow which sent them flying away.
The lady had managed to escape, as Killian's focus was on the men.
He flung his gaze at the coffin on the floor, and the clock on it, it was ten seconds left.
His eyes widened in shock as he hurriedly open the coffin. Words could not express how Sara felt as the ray of light reflected in her eyes. Killian carried her in his arm and Sara cuddled in his warmth, staring at his handsome face as he walked under the sun.
"Arrest those men in the cave." Killian ordered the guards that approached him.
"Yes sir," they replied with a bow.
