"Mother, I thought you died. How have you been all these while? You've suffered." Zayne cried, he placed his mother on a sofa and sat beside her.

Calypso, Zayne's mother grabbed his hand, stroked it gently and smiled. Zayne had ordered the maids to clean her up and make her refreshed.

In her current state, she looked nothing less than a beautiful maiden in mid-twenties.

"Don't blame yourself my son. I also didn't expect to survive the huge fire. Luckily, I was saved by a young man who took me out of the pack. Probably due to the shock, I lost my memories and just regained them weeks ago." She explained to him. Zayne brimmed widely as he listened to Calypso's talk. He nodded his head, grabbed a bottle of wine and poured some for Calypso.

"I won't forgive Killian for making you pass through that. He will pay for his sins." Zayne uttered, clenching his fists together while Calypso instantly held his hand and tightened it even more.

"Yes son, you should avenge me. The red moon pack and the blue moon pack have always been at loggerheads for decades. Remember they have a hand in the death of your father, so you must do all you can to make them pay for their sins." Calypso stated, staring straight into Zayne's eyes. A flash in her eyes made Zayne a bit scared. Calypso noticed the scare in his eyes and instantly smiled at him, patting his hand simultaneously.

"I am sorry if I scare you, Vincent. I just can't take it anymore. The fact that the murderer of your father is still alive and doing well make me troubled. How can your father rest in peace if we do not appease him with the blood of his enemies?" She hurriedly added. Zayne's mind relaxed as Calypso called him with his favorite name, 'vincent'. It sounded so different whenever her mother called him by the name, even Betty couldn't make him feel so relaxed whenever she calls him that.

"Oh! That reminds me, you should meet my mate, Betty. I left her in my room, I will call someone to get her."

"Please do, I can't wait to meet the person who captured your heart. She must be so beautiful." She said, her lips curving up in a smile.

"Sure." Zayne replied, stood up and called one of the guards.

"Get me the Luna." He ordered the guard, who bowed and instantly walked away.

Few minutes later, there was a knock on the door, and Betty walked in. She suddenly stopped as her eyes made contact with Calypso's, her fingers trembled and she fidgeted.

"C'mon Betty, what's wrong? Come and greet my mum..." Zayne paused, and turned to his mother.

"Mother, she has always been asking of you and she do let me know how badly she wishes she knew you." He continued, oblivious of the arising tension between the two.

"Really? Then she should come over here." Calypso replied to him with a wide smile plastered on his lips.

Betty swallowed hard, she ran her fingers over one another as she walked towards her. Her eyes were fixed on the floor as she dared not take a look at Calypso.

"My dear, sit beside me." Calypso smiled as she drew Betty close to her. She placed her hand on her hair and nodded her head.

"The name is Betty, right?" Calypso asked her, while Betty shook her head hurriedly.

"Congratulations my son, you found yourself a beautiful wife. I am proud of you." Calypso smiled, not taking her eyes off Betty's body.

Betty forced a smile on her lips, glanced at Calypso for the first time, but she hurriedly withdrew her gaze.

"Vincent, it seems your wife is a bit nervous. Why don't you go make her a coffee in the kitchen? You know you should always take good care of your wife, right?" Calypso smiled, while Zayne, unsuspectingly stood up, nodded his head and headed out of the

room.

"I will be back soon." He said as he slammed the door. The moment the door got shut, Betty sprang up from the bed, went on her knees and bowed before Calypso.

"The great one! I am sorry I couldn't greet you since, I was afraid Zayne would notice and our plans would be ruined." Betty said in a single breath, her shaky voice indicated how nervous and terror-stricken she was.

Calypso laughed hysterically, before her expression suddenly changed to a frown.

"But why do I think you've forgotten the main reason you were sent here, and you are now indulged in romantic affairs?" Calypso asked her, while Betty gasped, swallowing hard.

"I dare not, great one. My life belongs to you, I live and die for you. I dare not forget my main reason here." Betty hurriedly replied, sweat dripped down her body as she shook nervously.

"It's good for you to know that. Just a trigger of the Blood moon is enough to take your life, and you know what..." Calypso paused, stretched her back forward and smirked.

"Your brother's life will not be spared either." She finalized, resting her back on the sofa as she sipped her drink, savoring the taste.

"Please, don't do that. My brother is innocent in all of these, I will do all I can to help you achieve the great picture, I will live and die for you." Betty replied, while Calypso smiled.

She dropped the bottle of wine, moved towards Betty and raised her up.

"Stand up. Whoever enters and meets you like this would think I am bullying you. Wipe your tears and cry no more. As long as you do everything I ask you to do, you won't have any problem." Calypso said as she gently placed Betty on the sofa.

"So...what should I do next? I have given Violet the pill, she will give it to Killian, and his power would be drastically reduced very soon." Betty said to Calypso, who simply smiled and nodded.

"Good!"

"Doesn't Zayne want Sara? I can as well present her head to him as a gift!"
