Episode 77

BROOKE

I slowly walk towards my father till I stand next to him.

I can feel Willow close by, but she doesn’t say anything.

We both stand there in silence.

I can feel my father’s hurt running off him.

I clear my throat “Dad…..” I say as I turn to look at him, his eyes closing as a tear escapes, “I don’t know what to say to you; I have so many feelings about everything. You left me with Aubrey and the abuse, but it was hard what happened with you. I had to relive that all the time, and I have to admit, I was happy that my memories were gone.”

He doesn’t open his eyes, but I can tell he is crying more.

I sigh. “We can’t stand around here all night,” I said, turning to walk away but suddenly, “You are right, I left you with them,” he says.

I look back at the side of his face as he continues, “I was a mess, Brooke, and there is no excuse I can give you of how I acted when I thought your mother was dead, her death tortured my heart more with every waking day, and every time I saw you, you reminded me of her” he says. He turns to look at me. “I never thought I would hurt you, Brooke.”

My father looked at me; his eyes were glassy. “I found out a lot when you were gone; your mother and Luna Sophie helped me,” he said.

I look back at him. “What did you replace out?” I ask him with a small smile. “I want to know.”

My father looks at a bench to the side and nods towards it. “Let’s sit,” he says as he walks over to the bench.

I follow him and sit next to him.

My father looks back out at the pond. “I found out that Aubrey lied about everything. She even drugged me the times I was supposed to have hurt you. That’s why I never made the connection about the scars on your arms. You had a right in the hospital when we didn’t want to have me anywhere near you,” he says as he turns to me. “Aubrey made claims that I was an unfit father, so she had custody, but that was a load of bull crap; she had someone in on the werewolf council, which we found out who forged documents making her your legal guardian. She moved you away for a while but came back to the house you lived in when we last were here, but she never let me anywhere near you.”

My dad turns to me. “I never stopped fighting or looking for you; I never knew about your kind as your mother never told me anything as she was scared about people in the pack judging her and you or even harming you both, which I can understand, but I would have moved wherever you both went as you both are my world and still are,” he says.

“So you were drugged, but how did Aubrey know what drug to give you?” I asked.

“She had Damien; her mate gave her everything that she needed,” he said. “Austin found me and kept tabs on you as he made sure I knew everything that was going on, but after Cody was taken away, they shut him out.”

“How is Cody?” I asked as I turned to look at the pond; fishes were swimming close to the surface.

“He is doing ok; he moved and is part of the pack,” he says. “He will want to see you too; you were the first person he asked for, which surprised everyone.”

I smile. “After Aubrey had him, I was forced to watch him all the time. I only looked after him for a few months before he went away; I had no clue what happened to him till Austin told me when he came home one day that his mum didn’t want him anymore.”

My dad growls lowly ‘I have to say that I am so glad that she is dead, well all of them,” he says, “We figured, I was drugged every time Alfred was around. They didn’t want me to go back and tell anyone in the pack about him being around. I would go back to the pack with no memory of what happened or even seeing you at times.”

I can feel his sadness sweep in once more.

“Your dad is telling you the truth, Brooke,” says Willow quietly.

She was listening in, and I knew he was telling me the truth, but I needed to know something that I needed to know, which is a make-or-break question for me.

I turned to look at him. “I need to know something,” I said to him; he looked back at me and nodded. I clear my throat. ‘I want to know if you never got drugged or met Aubrey, would we still be in the pack? Also, Are you sorry for what happened?”

“Brooke, I am more than sorry for what happened, I wish with my whole heart that I never hurt you even laid a finger on you, and I will make it up to you any way I can, but one thing I would have done more differently would be never to have met that horrible woman, I would have done anything for you Brooke, I would have either stayed there or even lived in a human town. Whatever you wanted. I would have done, but I know my drinking was bad back then; I know Luna Sophia would have taken you in and thrown my a*s in rehab.”

He looks at me. “She did try that before you know, throw my a*s in rehab,” he says and sighs. “I was a fool back then, both my wolf and I were in pain, but we never thought I would do anything to hurt you; we love you, Brooke,” he says.

I looked at my father; he seemed to have aged so much over the last few months. You can tell all the grey hairs are more prominent now, and his skin looks worn. I look at his hands, and I place my hand in them. He takes it and squeezes it; he looks back at me. “Dad, I am willing to make this our second chance, I want us to start again, but I do want to take it slow, though as I need to process everything. I only came back not even twenty hours ago, but I think we will get back to the way we were when I was a kid but in time.”

My father smiles at me. “That’s all I ask,” he says.

He leans over and places his lips on my forehead. “I love you, Brooke, we will take it slow, but I am never leaving your side, Hunny.”

I smile.

We sit on the bench for a few more minutes before my father sighs. “I think we need to go back to bed, don’t you,” he says as he gets up slowly. I move with him, and we move away from the bench to head back in the packhouse. “Your mother will be happy that we talked,” he says with a smile.

“I have to ask, how are things between you both?” I ask, but as I look up at him, he has a smile on his face. “We have been working on things too; she needs to trust me once again,” he says but looks down at me. “She hasn’t made it easy on me either mind, but I would do anything for her and you.”

I smile back.

He opens the back door and lets me walk in first, with him following behind me.

Once we were inside, both Hudson and my mother looked back at us with smiles on their faces. “I am so happy you both have talked,” my mother says as she moves towards us and places her hands on both of us. “My family is back as one, but when Brooke is ready, but I am so happy you both made a move to talk.”

I smile, but I can feel Hudson’s eyes on me. I look back at him.

He smiles, I place a k**s on my mother’s cheek, and I place one on my father’s, which startles him, but he smiles back once I move to the side to look at him.

I walk over to Hudson and place my hand in his, looking up at him. “Thank you,” I mouth.

We all say our goodnights and head back to our bedrooms.

Once we were back in our bedroom, I pushed Hudson inside and closed the door behind me.

He looks back at me with a smirk. “What is my Luna doing?” He asks as I move him to the bed, pushing him with my hand on his chest as his legs hit the back of the bed, which makes him sit.

I climb on top of him, straddling each side of him, and wrap my arms around his neck as I place my mouth on his. I move my mouth with him as I slide my tongue along his bottom l*p, and he lets me slip my tongue in. We move, and I deepen the k**s as Hudson m***s into my mouth “Brooke,” he says in a raspy voice as he moves away.

“I think my alpha needs to take me again,” I said. Hudson smiles and lifts me, and turns me around quickly as I lay on the bed with him hovering over me. I smile as I look up at him.

He smiles down at me. “With pleasure, my Luna,” he says as he claims my mouth once again.

With one swift movement, he shreds all of the clothing we have on till we both are lying naked.

Hudson spreads my legs wider, placing his finger inside my slit. He moves in and out, making me m**n out loud. “Hudson, I want you,” I say in a squeak, but Hudson keeps sliding his finger sliding in and out of me. “Not yet,” he says as he k****s me once more.

I notice the hurt in his eyes, and I turn to face him, moving up slightly, we were face to face with each other “I won’t be leaving you, mate,” I said, and Willow comes forward with me, which startles him slightly but we say together in both voices “You have us, we are your mates” we say. Willow looks back to see Hudson place his lips back on mine and pull me closer to him.
