Crystal Moon Lake Reserve’s POV:

The girl’s house:

Mina walked back to her house Pissed. She heard everything Blaze said to his girlfriend. If she saw him right now, she was definitely stab him in the f*****g face. What he said kept replaying in her head. She walked into the house, Shawna, Ji’lahni, and Lynn were in the living room packing their gear making sure all their weapons were accounted for and working. “Oh hey, I brought your stuff down, it’s on the couch by Lynn.” Ji’lahni said glancing at Mina who looked like she was deep in thought. “Mina, what the hell you got going on? What’s wrong with you?” Ji’lahni said, stopping what she was doing, turning to look at Mina. Who sighed and sat on the couch. She told them everything that happened between her and Blaze but left Dradon completely out of it. By the time she finished telling them everything, they all had pulled out a weapon and was heading to the door with Mina rushing to blocked them from leaving. “Mina get the hell out of the way. First we gonna f**k that b***h Jen or whatever the f**k her name is up. Then we gonna see if we can skin a f*****g wolf and get Ji’lahni her fur jacket I burned.” Ji’lahni said angrily. Those babies have made her mean as hell. “Look I’m good, me and Blaze don’t have anything going on and I don’t know why the f**k he has been acting weird. I have no idea what his girlfriend’s deal is besides she was a part of Summer’s little click. So, she don’t want me teaming up with Blaze, which I’m not so she should be good. I don’t have time for either of them at this point. I don’t care about the words of a man I’m not f*****g or involve with neither words from his girlfriend. So just leave it alone.” Mina said backing her cousins from the door.

“Well, I’ll say this as long as she don’t come for you anymore, I’ll leave it alone. But if she do, she don’t hold no position in this pack so I can position my foot in her mouth if she don’t know how to use it properly. As for Blaze he better not say hello to me.” Shawna sneered. Yea those babies got her in the position of being the scary one out the group. “let’s just finish getting our weapons ready and then we gonna do what we always do to get my minds clear and focus by doing what we do best karaoke. We all laughed, with excitement quickly forgetting about Mina and her man problems.

Back at the pack house:

The warrior weapons room POV:

“Hey, I need everyone to make sure they have their knives and weapons with the wolfbane bullets. We don’t know what kind of enemies the witch has recruited. So, we need to be prepare to fight in human form if the need arises. Remember, don’t try to be a macho wolf if you have an opponent bigger then you, take him out with a gun or knife. We need as many quick kills as possible; we aren’t trying to prove anything. This mission is about being smarter than our opponent. Yo Rim, Montego said, Lynn needs you at her house to fit you for the harness, it seems you will be teamed up with Mina for this mission.” Hunter said to Rimmy.

“Wait what? You mean I finally get to team up with one of the women? This mission just gotten times better.” Rimmy said, and a low growl came from Blaze who was looking at Rimmy like he was two seconds away from ripping his throat out. His eyes flashed black showing that Onyx had come forward, but he quickly closed his eyes, and they turned back to their natural brown once he opened his eyes again. He turned back to the weapons and began aggressively throwing weapons in his backpack. “Hey, Blaze are you ok man? What happened between you and Mina that the alpha teamed her up with Rim?” Hunter stood next to Blaze packing his backpack. “Nothing, I just wanted to make sure I would be able to focus on taking out as many wolves as possible without worrying about Mina.” Blaze answered, hoping that Hunter would believe his excuse. Hunter eyed him skeptically, not believing him for a second. Blaze was his best friend, and he knew him well. He knew Blaze had feelings for Mina he had notice that every time Mina entered into a room Blaze couldn’t take his eyes off of her.

At first he thought she was his other half mate, but seeing that he was still clinging to Jessica, quickly squashed that idea because it is nearly impossible to ignore that pull. He had to admit that Mina wasn’t Blaze’s type which also made him second guess if Blaze had the hots for Mina, but it was confirmed the day he called her over asking about her cousin and how Blaze stared at her so hard that he missed the nasty mean things his girl said to Mina. Once he found out what Jessica said, he was livid. He quickly left the dining hall to catch up with her. But Hunter knew that Blaze had this obsession with image. Which he blames his parents who were rich social lights who were on the high counsel.

They wanted Blaze to be on the counsel warrior team, but after him and Blaze finished training camp he decided to follow Hunter back to Crystal Moon to sign up for The alpha’s warrior training. The hardest training in the country it was only held every four years. His parents were so upset that they demanded the alpha to not accept his request to join the pack. Lucky for Blaze our alpha didn’t scare easy and told his parents that he will decide based on Blaze’s ability not because they demanded him to reject him. They had stopped talking to him for two years. During that time Blaze and Hunter made sure we moved up the rank as fast as we could, which was how we became second and third command within those two years once his parents heard how good he was, and people were praising them on how they raised a great warrior who survived Alpha Makahi’s impossible training to become third in command only because we were tied, and he gave the second in command to Hunter, because Blaze knew how good he was. After that, they started inviting him back home and demanding he go to their high society parties so they could brag about how their son survive the toughest training in the country and became the third in command out of hundreds of wolves who attended the training. Blaze all of a sudden started worrying about his image, making Hunter believe that those two years of his parents not speaking to him affected Blaze more than Hunter thought.

The Alpha’s office:

“Uncle Felix, thanks again for coming to help out.” Makahi said. Hugging his uncle once he stepped into his office. “Oh, hush up my boy, there is no question of where I would be if I weren’t here. I would be turning this world upside down looking for my grandnieces. I will take care of your pack while you’re gone. Do not worry about anything else but replaceing those pups and my best friend.” Uncle Felix said. I’m glad he left his Beta at his pack house to take his place while he’s here. “So, is everything in place? Has the witches arrived?” I asked Montego and Shadow. The witches are going to portal us as close as they can to the realm, but we will have to journey by foot or paws the rest of the way to the rift. They say it is about two hundred miles away but in wolf form it will take us a couple of hours to cover those miles. “Everything is ready on our end we will set up camp twenty miles away from the rift. That will be the safe zone that we will bring the pups and the others we will be rescuing. The doc will also set up his equipment as well to help with any injury we can’t heal on our own. The women are at the house preparing as well.” Montego responded and I nodded.

“We will escort Ji’lahni and Lynn, but who will be escorting Shawna and Mina?” I asked more to Shadow because of earlier I had no idea what the status of that situation was. Mina wasn’t with anyone, so I wanted to make sure they were squared away.

“Shawna will be escorted by me. I will make sure her, and my pups are comfortable and protected. As for Mina I’m not sure, I have heard she will be with Rimmy or Blaze. I plan to go by there in a few so I will replace out. We are going to meet in the common room once the witches get here. I have giving Alpha Felix’s warriors the tour of the pack and safehouses. His top warriors have the temporary codes to all the safe houses, Alpha Felix has the master codes. The schedule has been given to his warriors and I emailed a copy to the Alpha as well.” Shadow said and I nodded. “Have one of the guards go get Mylan and my mother and help them with their stuff and make sure they are set to leave once the witches are here.” I said, as I sat back in my chair and tried to clear my mind and prepare the biggest battle of my life. Now all we need to do is get the women and wait for the witches.
