The Alpha’s Plus Size Urban Human Mate – Chapter 119
Ji’lahni’s POV:
We left out of the pack house. Once everyone was outside and ready to go, the witches began to open up three portals. Their eyes glowed and their hair was flying like the wind was blowing, but there was no wind at all. “Well, that’s some freaky shit.” I said to my cousins. “Yea, we are definitely about to lose our black card when we walk through this damn glowing hole.” Shawna said, holding her baby bump looking a little scared. Shadow stepped closer to her, sensing her fear. Makahi’s arms tightened around me as well. Looking around, I can see that everyone’s expression has turned to laser focus, trying to sense any danger that may be lurking beyond the portal waiting for us to pass through.
“You all may pass through now!” The dark-haired witch said. We began to walk towards the portal, but the guys stopped us. “Our warriors go first. We will be the last to pass through. They will ensure there is no danger on the other side.” Makahi said, nodding to his men, who started to pass through with no fear or hesitation. “You don’t have to tell me twice.” Mina said as Rimmy stuck close to her. I looked over to see Blaze burning a hole through Rimmy’s head.
Ironically, I also see Dradon staring with interested eyes on Mina and Rimmy. What the hell is that about? Leaning over, “I know why Blaze is burning a hole in Rimmy’s head but why is Dradon staring at yall too?” Mina turned slightly, trying to play it off. But she looked a little caught off guard. Turning back to me looking clueless, she shrugged.
“I don’t know.” She said and left it at that. I frowned and looked over and Shawna, who was watching us the whole time. She raised her brow at me too. We both know that Mina is keeping something from us because she always tries to act clueless about the obvious things happening around her. We will definitely be asking her what the hell is going on as soon as we get a chance.
“Hey baby, it’s our turn now. Makahi said as the men put us behind them as we walked toward the last portal. I know if I was nervous as hell, my cousins are too, because let’s face it, this is some weird crazy bullshit that we already know, is something that we’re not supposed to be doing in this scary movie called our f*****g life. The only reason we are even doing this is because of our babies, and nothing is like a mother’s love and any baby either one of us has is considered our baby, because we would fight to the death and kill for them. But that doesn’t mean we’re not scared as hell. Makahi reached behind him and pulled me close and had me wrap my hands around him from the back as we walked, which calmed me a little bit. I looked around Makahi and spotted Shawna in front of him, and Shadow carrying her like a baby. She had her legs wrapped around his waist with her eyes closed, with her head buried in his shoulder. Homegirl was too scared to be mad at her baby daddy. I smiled at the thought. But I thought it was a great idea to close my eyes too, so I didn’t have to see anything, and Makahi had me so close to him I didn’t even have to look where I was going. I could feel when we got to the portal.
Going through the Portal felt sort of like getting into an elevator, but also like how you feel when a rollercoaster starts to move, and it suddenly drops out of nowhere. Yea, that is how it felt walking through a portal. It only lasted a second or two before we were on the other side. “Oh, hell no it’s cold as f**k how the hell do people survive in this s**t?” Lynn said, putting gloves, hat, and a scarf on. “You ain’t f*****g lying. When the hell does this magic suit kick in? Does it even work? I think mine’s broken cuz?” Mina said in a rush, and we are all laughing. Something about us is when we are put into situations like this, we get to questioning our sanity and losing it all at the same time, which is why we are laughing so hard, and everyone is looking at us crazy and that only makes it worse. Like we’re about to f*****g die out here in this wintery hell fire. “Cuz, all our suits don’t work.” I said through fits of laugher “I’m telling yall now, that when I have to pee I’m just going to go I refuse to pull my pants down in this s**t. Nobody trying to freeze to death in the peeing position.” Shawna said and we laughed some more. “Oh, shadow’s whole back is about to be smelling like pee.” I said out loud and we laughed until we cried. “Come on, yall we have to get serious focus.” I said trying to sound serious but failed.
We all turned around to see everyone was just staring at us. We all looked surprised that everybody was looking at us while we were laughing. “Why is everyone standing around looking at us? Let’s go.” I said, trying to act serious. Makahi chuckled, shaking his head. “Let’s head out. The witches will be taking the lead from here to the rift. Let’s split into four teams and spread out on all four sides of us at least two miles out, watch out for anything out of order. Don’t dismiss anything you see. We are to protect your Luna and her family. Half of you shift and the other half stay in human form and have your guns at the ready. Mind link only.” Makahi said, kissing me fearlessly before he shifted into Maka. “Oh, you’re wrong for getting me all hot and bothered.” I said rubbing and kissing Maka’s fur-covered head, because I don’t care if he is half human, we are not kissing no animal in the mouth. I hopped on Maka and snapped the harness in place tightly. Lynn had reinforced the harness to make sure that it was almost impossible to break the buckle without a knife. I saw my cousins snapped their harnesses in place except Shawna. “Lynn when did you do all this?” Shawna asked in awe. “Well, Shadow actually asked me to make you a chair like a saddle with a chest harness that didn’t cross over your growing belly. He wanted to make sure you were comfortable. And it won’t be a hindrance if you have to fight and it has compartments to hold your weapons just in case you have to use them. But hopefully you won’t need to use your weapons.” Lynn answered, and Shawna gave a small smile and rubbed Rane’s head as she settled in her chair and fasten herself in the chair. Once we were on our wolves. We started out on this long a*s journey.
We had been walking for a long a*s time, But I will admit, that those magic bodysuits did their job, because although we were still cold but not as cold as we were when we first past through the portal. We had to stop a few times, because Shawna had to pee, and Shadow insist on taking her far away in order for no males to see her. She rolled her eyes every time she told him she had to pee. All the males would track closer to our group, and he would stand in front of her blocking her while she did her business. It was pitch black out hear and we heard the howling of the wind it was just that cold. The wolves, however, didn’t seem fazed at all. Maka stopped and laid on his belly which was a signal for me to get off so he could shift. I had his clothes waiting for him by a tree once he shifted. “We will stop here, build a fire and some of you go look for food we could eat. We will only be an hour; we don’t have much time before midnight I want to be at the rift well before midnight.” Makahi said as the men round up wood to make a fire.
Once the Dragons lit the fire after the wolves gathered the wood. Shadow had already had Shawna’s saddle on the ground for her to sit in and he took up the space next to her. Makahi and Montego had me and Lynn on their laps. “Now what kind of gentlemen would I be to allow you to sit on these filthy sacks.” Dradon said, Before Mina could sit on the pile of sacks that some of the men made for her. “A live one, if you don’t keep your filthy hands to yourself.”
Lynn said, abruptly taking out her blade. Pointing it at Dradon who chuckled and walked away, but not before looking at Mina, who wouldn’t look anyone in the eyes. I looked over at Blazed. He was breathing so hard I thought he was having an asthma attack. “Mina, you better tell us what the hell you got going on with these dudes.”
I leaned over and whispered. She looked everywhere but at us. “Hey! Everyone we caught a deer. Mina get over here so you can season this thing before we throw it over the fire.” Hunter said and Mina jumped up like she was running from a mountain lion. “Oh, she thinks just because she ran over there, we not gonna replace out what the hell she got going on?” Shawna asked, me and Lynn. We snorted at the foolery of that thought. “Somebody done lost their mine in this winter hell. If that’s what she thought,” I said, crossing my arms under my breast, looking at Mina act busy.
