The Alpha's Plus Size Urban Human Mate
The Alpha’s Plus Size Urban Human Mate – Chapter 122

Meanwhile, at the evil castle:

In Prison cells

Antoni’s POV:

“Antoni, I don’t think this plan is going to work. I’m too weak to be of any help to you. I will only slow you down. Allow me to distract the guards while you escape. The twin’s survival is way more important than mine. I couldn’t live with myself if I am the reason you didn’t get them to safety.” Cannon said, looking defeated. We came up with a plan to get the girls and replace a way out of the castle, before Urrale had a chance to sacrifice them. “Nonsense, I will not leave you behind. We have a better chance with more than one person, regardless of your weakened state. You could be of some use. So, once the guards bring us our dinner you distract him, and I will handle the rest.” I said, calmly. “Are you sure you will be able to kill both the guards?” Cannon asked, doubtfully. I smiled. “Son, I’m not new to this. I have been around a long time and have done things I’m not proud of. I thought I had put that life behind me, but it seems as though nothing ever truly stays buried. I said, thinking of my past and the things I have done. “You mean you were something else other than the Alpha?” He asked with his brow raised. “Yes, I was young, dumb and in what I thought was love. Before I met my mate, she is the one who actually changed me for the better.” I said, thinking of my mate, with her gone now.

I know once I get the twins out of this realm and my wolf comes back, I will more than likely die, which I was OK with because I can’t imagine life without my mate. “What did you do before you met your mate?” Cannon asked. I really didn’t like reliving that life. My son didn’t even know about my past. With Lateri now gone, it really doesn’t matter any longer. “Years ago, I dated Urrale, the witch who had us imprisoned.” I said and heard Cannon gasp. I knew it was hard to believe. Hell, sometimes it didn’t seem real to me either. “Damn, you dated the evil b***h. Now she has you locked up here and plans to kill your grandchildren. That’s some fatal attraction next level shit.” Cannon said, absentmindedly. “She wasn’t always like this. She actually saved my life more than once; through the years we were together. It is my fault that my grand pups are in this situation and why my mate is dead. Which is why I must do everything I can to get them back to my son.” I said as guilt and anger mixed together, acting as booster cables feeding my need for revenge. “Damn, so I take it she couldn’t take being dumped?” Cannon summarized. “Yes I had promised her that I would reject my other half mate. But again, I was young and didn’t know the power of the connection once you meet your other-half mate. Once I met my mate, I knew I couldn’t reject her. When Urrale found out, she was angry and hurt and something broke inside her and she became obsessed. I felt sorry for her because it was my fault that I broke my promise to her. I tried my best to get her to understand that I no longer felt the same for her. She was convinced that if she could remove the bond, that somehow my feelings for her would come back.” I said, remembering that time in my life.

“I get the fatal attraction thing. But what did you do so badly that you had to keep it a secret from everyone?” Cannon asked. “I was a contract killer for a special organization called the Supernatural elimination team, or SET. Urrale thought that in order for us to rule over both witches and werewolves, I needed to be stronger then anyone who could challenge us once we took over. So, she used her magic to get me into the program. At first I thought it was just some training program, but it was far worse than I thought. They were training us to be assassins. Once we graduate from the program, we are sent to a remote location where we would do our first job. We received secret orders with only a name, then we basically killed the target. We were never given a reason why they had to be eliminated. We weren’t allowed to ask questions about the targets. The less we know the better, just in case we ever get caught, we will never be able to implicate the organization. I didn’t want to do it at first, but Urrale told me that I would have to be able to take a life when necessary, that I couldn’t show weakness as a king. I really didn’t care about anything or anyone at that point in my life, so the jobs were easy for me. Until one day, I was given a target that I refused to complete. I was put into a camp for future alpha’s and warriors. I was to get close to the target’s son and once I became friends with him, I was to replace a way into his pack and then take him and his entire family out. But I couldn’t because my target daughter was my other halfmate.

The first time that I laid eyes on my mate, everything changed, and I knew I had to somehow make sure that she and her entire family were safe. So, I did what I had to do, which was take out the entire organization from the inside. I used Urrale in order to replace out who was the head of the organization. I told her that they were onto us and what we had planned and that we couldn’t allow them to ruin our plans. She brought it so, once we found them, we destroyed the entire organization. Not long after that, Urrale found out that I had found my mate. When I told her that I couldn’t reject her, Urrale lost it. Over the next decade, she tried everything to break our mates’ bond. She even tried to kidnap my mate while she was pregnant. But my mate was an excellent fighter, stronger than most alpha males. One thing I learned during those times, is that you never f**k with a mother and her pup because they will leave a path full of b***d and no remorse.” I said, remembering, seeing my mate walk casually back to the pack house after me and my warriors had been looking for her for weeks after Urrale had her kidnapped.

She was covered in b***d with my son still growing in her belly. I thought that she was hurt, but she waved me off saying the b***d wasn’t hers. “Damn, that is crazy, no wonder you are so determined to get your grand pups out of here. Cannon said just as we heard the guards coming to deliver our dinner. Cannon got into position. I could see his doubt in our plan, but something came over him and he straightened to his full height and when the guard came to hand him his dinner, he grabbed the metal tray. He lifted it up and swung with all his might at the guard’s head. The first guard stumbled back, and the second guard caught him, and I used that opportunity to grab his head and snapped his neck with ease, before the second guard hit the ground I reached around him, grabbing the first guard in a head lock and snapping his head backwards. Cannon stared at me in shocked silence. I started undressing the men and handing Cannon one of the guards’ clothes. We dressed them in our clothes and placed them on the floor cots hoping it would buy us some time before anyone noticed that the men on the floor cart weren’t us. I was able to replace our way out of the cells because I made sure to remember the directions on the way in.

“We needed to replace out where she had the twins. One of the servants told me that she had an omega caring for them in a room on the upper floor. But I’m sure the omega is either dead or locked away somewhere. Because she was the one who helped me escape the first time. They didn’t bring us to the cells together. I can only assume she was killed. So, we will have to do some spying. It is up to you. I know where the kitchen is but I’m sure it is heavily guarded because that’s how I escaped last time. I will get rid of the guards. I will need you to sneak in and see if you can replace out where the girls are being kept. It is dinner time, so they should be taking food to the servant in charge of the girls.

It’s not a great plan, but this is the best we got. You have on a guards uniform so just tell them that you were ordered to get an extra bottle for the girls.” I said, as Cannon shook his head. “Yea, this plan sucks. They will never believe I’m a guard,” Cannon said. Taking a deep breath knowing this was our only shot. “Oh well, here goes nothing.” He said as I approached the guards standing at the doors to the kitchen. I didn’t give them time to react before I pounced. I chopped one guard in the throat ,so he couldn’t use his voice to yell for help, while I grabbed his knife and threw it right at the neck of the other guard. “Damn, you weren’t lying about being a killer. I’m glad I’m on your side. You will have to teach me that throat chopping move when we get out of here.” Cannon said as he stepped over the guards to enter the kitchen. I hope like hell that we can get out of here for good this time.
