The Alpha’s Plus Size Urban Human Mate – Chapter 126

The rift part 1:

At the opening of the rift, POV:

“This is as far as we can go unfortunately. The rift is up ahead, there is a cave off to the right behind a big tree trunk. Once you go into the cave you will see the Rift. It is a glowing red portal.” The white-haired witch said, pointing at this big tree up ahead. We couldn’t see a damn thing in this wintery hell fire. “Why do we always have to walk into or go into the most haunted places? When I tell you this goes against everything that is black in us, we mean that shit.” Mina said as we looked around and only saw blackness and the snow slapping us in the face. “I don’t care where it is at this point as long as it’s warm. This s**t is for the birds.” Shawna said, rubbing her arms trying to warm them, which was useless. “Thank you for bringing us this far. We can’t thank you enough.” Makahi said, shaking each of the witches’ hands.

“Yes, what he said, I would hug you but I’m afraid we would end up frozen and stuck together.” I said, trembling because the wind decided to be a b***h and blow even harder. The witch smiled and nodded. “We have decided to set up camp here to help you with whatever you need, once you return.” The dark-haired witch said. “Thank you again, that would be great. We don’t know the condition of the people we will have to bring back, so we could use any help we could get.” Makahi said, looking like the Alpha he was. “Alright, let’s roll out, be on guard. We know the witch knows we are coming. Midnight is approaching quickly, so we must hurry.” Makahi said, and his warriors nodded. Makahi walked over to me, pulled me away from the group. “Baby, I need you to be safe, I won’t be able to protect you when you’re in that castle. I need you to get the girls and get the hell outta there. Do you understand? I need you to listen to me just this once please?” Makahi said, cupping my cheeks looking me in the eyes intensely. “Hey, I listen to you.”

I said, and he raised his brows. “Ok, sometimes.” I said, and he snorted. “Fine I will listen to you this time.” I said, making a face. He laughed and kissed me. “Hey! It’s cold as s**t out here and yall trying to make out, that’s some bullshit.” Shawna said, and we broke apart when somebody threw a snowball at us. “I promise if that snowball would have hit me. Somebody’s a*s will have a rift in it.” I said as Makahi shifted into Maka, and I hopped on him snapping myself in. We began walking in the direction the witches told us. After about ten minutes, we saw the biggest tree trunk we have ever seen. “What in the entire hell is that? That tree looks like it’s living. I don’t see any part of this ending while.” Mina said as we approached and pass by the haunted tree trunk.

“s**t! Mina you spoke to f*****g fast. You know you don’t put stuff out into the universe. Now look where the hell we got to go, that cave looks like every kind of nasty bug, spider, bat, and a f*****g bear family in there. That witch put up every black person’s kryptonite.” Shawna said shivering for the thought of anything that might touch or fall on our shoulders or crawl across our feet. “Cuz now I gotta pee.” I whispered to them, and they laugh. They knew what I meant when I said that. I get the bubble guts when I get super nervous, and that cave is at the top of the f*****g list of fuckery we have had to deal with. Taking a deep breath, I laid flat on Maka holding on tight with my eyes closed. He purred as he went into the cave. “Hey Lahni, no fair you know I can’t lay on Rane like that.” Shawna whispered. “Oh, well cuz you’re on your own. You can still close your eyes.” I said not even trying to move or even peek at where we are.

“OK, we’re at the rift. Alpha says the first team goes in and checks the surroundings and to be careful because the witch knows we’re coming. Everyone knows their assignments. The witches gave us potions to cloak ourselves so we aren’t attacked off guard. The first team take it now.” Hunter said, relaying what Makahi said via mind link. He wasn’t going to shift until we were through the rift. As usual, Lynn just had to look inside the spooky cave. “s**t, that looks like we will be walking straight into hell, look yall this s**t is freaky.” She said and we cursed her a*s out. “Lynn, if we wanted to know what this s**t looks like, we would have be just like your looking a*s. We sure as hell didn’t ask for a visual blind man tour.” Mina said, as she closed her eyes tighter. Lynn laughed. “Yall so damn scary, I swear yall would be afraid of your own shadows.” Lynn mocked us. “And sure, would if that b***h looked like she wanted to kill me or liked Freddie.” Mina said, we all laughed.

“Alright the coast is clears the warriors said it seems as though there is another opening, up ahead which they believe is where the witches has her men waiting for us.” Hunter said, leading the team through the rift. I felt the same feeling I had when we went through the other portal. But it was very warm and bright. It took awhile for our eyes to adjust to the brightness. Once we were able to open our eyes. The scene before us was unreal which considering we just walked through a damn portal it shouldn’t be a surprise. “This place looks like a unicorn threw up in a bad way.” Mina said looking around. The trees we every color you could think of the grass had different shades of purple, blues, and reds. “Is that a f*****g monkey head with a bunny body?” Shawna said, pointing in a blue tree.

“Oh, that is all kinds of f****d up.” I said, as the monkey bunny jumped from one tree to another. “Yea I already know this is about to be ten years’ worth of nightmares. Ain’t no way we walking out of here thinking we are mentally stable.” Lynn said and we all laughed. Because not a lot of things shock’s her. So, you can tell that whatever we are seeing is creepy as hell. Maka dropped to his stomach again singling me to get off. I was real hesitant because I wasn’t sure that there wasn’t something in this jungle hell that we may need to make a quick getaway. I got off Maka. He and the other wolves went off behind some trees to shift and change into their clothes.

When I got off Maka I immediately pulled my gun and took the safety off, and just like when black people see somebody running like they running from something we gone take off running and ask questions later. My cousins pull their guns and took the safety off. “Damn, Lahni you see something? Why we pulling our guns out?” Shawna asked as she got off Rane. “Did you not see that monkey bunny? I can only imagine what other kind of s**t is in this jungle hell, so I’m go be ready, so I don’t have to get ready. s**t there might be an alligator with a lion body and which one of yall can outrun a lion? Exactly so go ahead and call me robo cop because this gun is now a part of my hand.” I said and we all laughed quietly because we not trying to tell the killer animals where we are. Just then the men came from behind the tree fully dress.

“Hey baby.” Makahi said pulling me into his arms for a hug kissing me on my head. “Alright, it’s game time lets had to the other opening you guys found up a head I think we will set up camp on the outside of the opening and then we start phase 1 of the attack.” Makahi said to us in a low voice and his men nodded and starting moving meaning he must have mind linked them and only said it aloud for our benefit.

Once we made it to the second opening the men set up camp while we stretched our bones out from the long ride and got out of the wintery hell jumper that the witches gave us and put our vest back on. We loaded up with our guns, knives, blades, and of course my babies my crossbows and errors. I turned to Shawna who was also loading up even though we will make sure she is far away from any fighting that may go on. I turned to her because I needed to tell her what not to do, because I know her, and we think the same. “Shawna, you are the look out, you do not come out of your hiding spot no matter what you see got it?” I said waiting for the push back, and then it came.

“What? I’m not doing that, and you know it. I will make sure I’m safe. But if I see anyone of you in danger or worse, I am going to help point blank period. I will make sure to protect myself but don’t ask me to sit back and watch you all be killed if I can help in some way.” She said as tears formed in her eyes. I knew not to argue about it anymore. She had made up her mind and knows she has those boys to protect. “Just don’t do anything to our baby boys at risk, OK?” I asked, and she nodded. “Hey, baby the camp is set up, We’re are going to debrief and then start the mission.” Makahi said, waving me over to where the rest of the warriors were. “Well, it’s time to get this f*****g s**t show started. Are yall ready?” Mina asked, as we walked towards the guys. “Nope I’m not, but f**k it. Let’s do it.” I said, putting my focus on getting my babies back.
