The Alpha's Plus Size Urban Human Mate -
The Alpha’s Plus Size Urban Human Mate – Chapter 64
Lynn’s POV:
“Kat! What the hell are you doing here? We almost killed you!” I yelled. This couldn’t be happening. I asked my grandmother to get my brother out here, Out of the three of my siblings Kat was the worst of them all. She was the one who tormented me my entire childhood my brothers just followed her lead, in order to not endure her wrath. “Why, Lynndoria is that anyway to talk to the sister who is here to save your weak human pets.” She said cleaning fake dirt from her nails. “Wait what did she just call us, your pet. I feel like bitches been testing our gangsta since we have been here.” Ji’lahni said, getting up. She usually is the levelheaded one after Shawna, but the things we have been dealing with has us all on edge. Having my sister here is not the best idea, because her mouth has no filter. I needed her to allow her dragon to heal Shawna and go.
Looking at the tiny child standing next to Kat, which was anything but a child. He was a full-grown dragon shifter. “Really Dradon you come as a child” I asked with a raised eyebrow. “ Hey, I didn’t want to scare the humans and I thought coming as one of their tiny humans makes me less scary.” He said in my mind, with a shrug as he stepped from behind my sister. He looked at me and then his eyes turned emerald, green which was the color of his dragon Drax. He quickly got control of his dragon and looked in the direction of Mina. No please, god no please don’t let him imprint on Mina. Being a dragon’s mate is not the same as it is here. Dragon shifter are more dragon then man if his dragon wants to imprint on Mina his human side wont be able to stop it. Imprinting is not the same as werewolf mates. Their God allows them to imprint for the sole purpose of procreation there was no love at all. It is rare, and most dragons die without ever imprinting on anyone.
Which is why they are only a few dragon shifters left. In the past when they have tried to mate and procreate the mother and child never make it through labor. An imprinting hasn’t happened in centuries. Shaking my head, I have to deal with one problem at a time. Besides Kat and Dradon have been an item for years. Although they aren’t mates they really didn’t care because again imprinting hasn’t happened in centuries. Every Dragon has dragon riders or a dragon protector we are trained from birth to protect their secrets and their amulet that controls the beast within them in case the Dragon takes complete control of the man. While also protecting them and their secrets from people who knows their weakness and could killed the dragon and the man.
Dragons were hunted by demigods who sort the power of the god who created them. Which is rumored to be the Strongest among all the gods. I was supposed to be a dragon rider, but I gave up that destiny to create my own and now my baby brother is missing. He was the only sibling that treated me with kindness the one who told me to leave, and he would take my place and now because of me he is missing. “So, sister Grandmother tells me you found our baby brothers blade on a filthy she wolf. We hadn’t heard from him in months although it isn’t uncommon. But He would always check in every couple of weeks. Now he is missing and possibly dead, and it would all be your fault because you couldn’t cut it as a rider like me and Maxisin. Now our poor baby brother Cannon is gods knows where.” Kat said in anger.
“I know this b***h isn’t talking to you like that, she got us f****d up.” Mina said coming to stand by me. I grabbed her hand not wanting her to get close to Dradon, because he was staring at Mina intently. I was so focused on them that I didn’t notice Ji’lahni coming up on the other side of me to step into Kat’s face. “So, let’s be clear we asked for your help to save our cousin, but even she would never allow anyone to feel comfortable disrespecting Lynn she would never forgive us if we didn’t put our foot in your a*s the next time you feel like you want to talk out the side of your neck. This ain’t the f*****g day nor time to come here thinking you can speak to Lynn nor anyone like this while I’m standing here she might be you sister, but she is my family, and I will kill anyone who feel like they gone f**k with her.” Ji’lahni said with a knife in her hand. I had to swallow back my emotions at Ji’lahni’s words. This is what I cherish the most they were loyal without question they have always had my back since the day we met our freshmen year.
Flashback: 10 years ago, community college in South Carolina
18-year-old Ji’lahni, Shawna, and 17-year-old Mina.
18-year-old Lynn’s POV:
“See this is some bullshit! How the hell they room me with someone that smells like a*s. Like damn how you take a shower and still smell like a*s.” The smallest of the trio said as she sat down at a table across from me in a café in the local community college I started last semester I had been in America for the last few months after leaving my family and my destiny behind. I enrolled at the local college in an effort to replace myself and what I wanted to be in life. So far I still have no idea. “Well, nobody told you to stay in the dorms. We told you how it was going to be, but you wouldn’t listen you wanted to live your life and experience college life, now you’re getting exactly what you asked for, so welcome to the college life where you may encounter people who smell like a*s for no reason even after it looked like they just showered.” The bigger one said as they all laughed.
“I mean really how is it possible that you come out the shower with soap in your ears and you still stink” The smaller one said as she gagged. As the other two laughed so hard they were starting to cry and the middle one had the loud laugh like a banshee. It was contagious because I found myself chuckling at them. “Hey, can I borrow your ketchup bottle?” The smaller one asked me. “Yea, sure.” I answered handing her the bottle from my table. “Thank you, and I want to apologize for my loud a*s cousin they have no home training. I know you couldn’t study in peace with Shawna laughing like a hyena.” The smaller one said as the one she called Shawna tried to push her off the chair. “First of all, f**k you! I don’t sound like no damn hyena.” Shawna said, trying to hold in her laugh. “See I can’t take yall no where in public yall always got to show out in from of people.” The bigger one said. Shaking her head.
They gave an I know you ain’t talking look. “Oh so, me and Mina are the ones that don’t know how to act in public? Then, who was the one who got us kicked out of the party last week when you punched a girl in the nose because you called you a b***h, huh Lahni? Because it wasn’t me or Mina.” Shawna said, crossing her arms over her chest. “Nope that was self-defense.” Lahni said. “How? How was it self-defense? The only thing the girl did, was told you to stop flirting with her dude.” Mina said laughing. “That’s a lie, I wasn’t flirting with him he came up to me and started talking to me. She confronted me when she should have confronted her man.” Lahni said in her defense. “That still didn’t mean punch the girl in the face though did it?” Mina said.
“Hey, she bumped into me what the hell was I supposed to do let her think she can touch me over some dumb s**t like that? Nope not happening you put your hands on me we gone replace out who going to be leaving in an ambulance or in cuffs.” Lahni said, with a shrug. “That girl only bumped into you because a drunk girl fell into her and that was the only reason she bumped into you, it was a mistake.” Shawna said laughing. “Oh well how was I supposed to know that it was an accident she had just called me a b***h, so I thought she wanted smoke, so I started a fire instead.” Lahni said. They all turned to look in my direction. “Hey, What’s your name?” Mina asked me. “Lynndoria but call me Lynn.” I answered. “Ok Lynn, who do you think doesn’t have home training. Lahni who going around giving folks black eyes or me and Shawna who did absolutely nothing?” She asked me and they all looked at me like that had just giving their closing arguments in a courtroom. And that was the beginning of our friendship. The was one of the best days of my life, and I refuse to let my family take that away from me.
