The Alphas’ P**n Star Mate
Chapter 62 – The Alphas’ Porn Star Mate

Chloe

POV

A big grin spread on my face seeing the familiar cars at the pack's gates. Emily laughed at me, skipping all giddy to meet them. She then walked ahead to see her mate. Beta Desmond must have just shifted, because he was leaning against the side of the checkpoint building completely naked. A cheeky grin spread on his face too when he saw Emily. He was not shy at all about pulling her close to his naked body.

I was a little disappointed that Miles wasn't there too, and so was my wolf. Cortina had to make a comment about wanting to see him before and after shifting which brought so many enticing images to mind. Some from my dreams last night. Horny wolf. "Rodger? I thought you weren't coming until tomorrow?" Mick said, looking at Rodger curiously as he got out of the third car that stopped after it pulled in past the gates. Rodger leaned against the open door and waved us over.

"Things changed," Rodger exchanged a look with Kai and Lenny, still sitting in the vehicle. "We had to be faster at leaving than expected."

Mick stared for a moment, and I could feel his tension and wariness. "Did you get any visitors?" Mick asked.

Rodger lifted his chin, "Perhaps. It's been dealt with." He then smiled at me. "We can talk about this later. Tell me about your new pack, my dear." He waved for us to get in the car.

I grimaced when he said new pack, not sure how I felt about how that sounded. Honestly, though..... I liked this pack. I liked it more and more the more of it I saw.

We rode back to the packhouse with everyone, the Beta leading the way with two warriors in wolf form. Emily waved us ahead and said she would walk back. Jamie and Beau were coming her way as we started to drive past, so I was sure she would walk with them. She was easy to get along with and both seemed to like her at the warrior's building.

I told Rodger, Lenny and Kai about the pack since coming here. Kai had never experienced a werewolf pack before, and he was naturally curious, but even Lenny was deeply inquisitive about how the pack functioned. He asked Mick and I more questions than anyone. Rodger just drove ahead, intently listening while looking back at me in the rear-view mirror.

When we got to the packhouse and everyone had a chance to get out of their cars, I was passed around like a rag doll as the guys said their hellos. It had only been two days since I had last seen them, but you would think it had been weeks.

"Taylor," I smiled warmly at the newest addition to my family before even acknowledging Darren. I just gave him a warm smile and focused entirely on his new mate. I was so excited to see she had come with him.

She had a new marking on her neck, a bear print tribal marking that matched a new mark on Darren's neck in the same location. That means they are fully mated, and she not only knew what Darren was, she had agreed to being his mate. Werebear markings are different from werewolf ones. The spirit inside a werebear, which is essentially their beast, will imprint a mark on their mate's skin when they fully agree to the pairing. It's deep and spiritual, less brutal than the way werewolves mark one another. We tear into one another before we can connect emotionally most times. Bears connect spiritually to their mates before they can be marked.

As I noticed their markings, I started to bounce on the balls of my feet and threw my arms around Taylor's neck, surprising her. "I'm so happy for you," I said loudly.

She laughed softly, returning my hug. "I got my Dare Bear, all thanks to you."

"Are you happy?" I asked. "I mean, of course you are with a mate like Darren, but are you okay with leaving your world to join ours?"

She looked back at Darren with hearts in her eyes. "His world is the only world I want to be in."

"Gross, they're mushy," Cortina gagged at the lovestruck stare Darren sent Taylor.

I giggled, truly happy for them. Darren was my closest confidant when I got to Broom StiXXX, and I know no one deserves happiness more than he does.

"Damn, you smell like a Luna again," Alexi grumbled after hugging me. "Cindy said you got two Alphas instead of one?" He moved my hair off my shoulder to see if I had a new mark, but I growled and snapped at his hands.

"Leave the poor girl be," Cindy said, coming around the car he was driving to give me a big hug. "Oh, you do smell ripe. You stopped taking those scent maskers I see. The Luna in you is seeping out of your pores."

"Scent masker?" Beta Desmond asked after shifting back and pulling on a pair of sweatpants Emily had brought out for him.

"I had to mask my scent for the past year. I was still mated to Cameron until," I bit my lip and looked at Mick, "until Mick marked me."

"It was a precaution," Rodger said. He came to pull me in for a much needed hug. I really missed him the most out of everyone. "Keeping her safe was always my top priority. Always will be," Rodger murmured, his words feeling cryptic somehow. "I'm happy she found a mate, or should I say, mates, that are part of a good pack that can protect her in ways I can't."

Mates. I didn't know how to respond to that plural form of the word. It was still a warring issue inside of me. Cortina was like a general, leading the fight to accept both mates, but then my past trauma and prejudices fought her off at every attack.

"She will be safe here," Mick said, pulling me back to his side. He nuzzled his face into my hair, taking a deep breath. "No one is going to get to you or hurt you again," he whispered, and I leaned into him, smiling at his words. He didn't tense when Rodger said 'mates. He didn't feel bothered by it at all.

"Indeed," Rodger said. He had a soft look on his face as he stared up at the massive packhouse. His magic was moving through him, flashing briefly in his eyes. Then his smile grew. "I think you will be quite safe here. It makes me feel more at ease."

"Especially after what we just dealt with," Lenny muttered, rolling his eyes and crossing his arms over his chest.

I was about to ask what he meant, but a thunderous growl erupted from behind me. It turned in time to see Billy coming out with his nostrils flared, muttering the word 'mates' under his breath.

Without any time to react, and without anyone fully grasping the situation, Darren stepped forward, looking crazed, his deep grunts and growls mirroring Billy's.

"What the fuck?" Riley screeched, being pulled away by Dave as the two burly men tried to come at one another.

Cortina took over, ripping out of me and planting herself between the two men, just as Mick stepped in to stop Billy and Dave took a protective stance towards Darren. I expected one of the two men to shift into their beasts with the way they were snarling at one another, but surprisingly they were both still human. Only their eyes and teeth seemed to change.

"These fucktards," Cortina said, then snarled viciously at Darren when he tried to push forward to get to Billy. "What the fuck is their problem?"

"I don't know, but I have a hunch," I murmured, my thoughts causing Cortina's eyes to flash towards Taylor, who was shaking with fright behind Darren.

She was looking at Billy with a mix of apprehension and wonder. Her fright wasn't for Darren. That was for sure. She looked like she was holding Darren back, her hands gripped tightly at the back of his shirt.
