The Alphas’ P**n Star Mate -
Chapter 64 – The Alphas’ Porn Star Mate
"Yeah.... Darren already said to do it, so fine.... Yeah..... Well, I don't know, princess. Most people don't want their significant others to replace videos of their previous sex life, so what do you think?.... Yeah! Delete it!..... Yeah, we're heading out now and they'll catch up in the morning. Rodger said he needed to take care of some things first.... Okay, Mickey-poo.... Yeah, yeah, yeah. Give my girl kisses. Like, the sisterly kind of kisses. I don't want her thinking I'm wanting to maul her or anything. Laters."
Rodger chuckled under his breath, watching Cindy roll his eyes while hanging up the phone.
"Is everything alright?" Rodger asked.
"Oh, you know. As alright as it can be with our Broom StiXXX princess's vagina online in thousands of different places for all to see," Cindy said, pulling out a lipstick out from his pocket and reapplying once more before they hit the road. He was so busy looking at himself in the car's window reflection that he didn't notice the disgusted grimace on Rodger's face. "Our little Luna is a hot commodity, and they need to delete Darren's presence on that website to fully delete hers."
"Is that something they can take care of?" Rodger asked to reaffirm what he already knew. He didn't want to take any chances.
"Sounds like it. It sounds like our Mickey's pack, excuse me," Cindy coughed, " Mick's former pack is taking care of everything." Rodger nodded, feeling reassured. He looked up at the top floor of the building, catching a glimpse of Lenny.
Lenny came to Broom StiXXX many years ago after an Alpha made him the fall guy for a specific set of skills he had acquired working as a special operator in his pack. He was trained by his ruthless Alpha from an early age, obtaining stealth and lethal abilities that eventually made his Alpha's son wary of him. Lenny was set by his Alpha to take out another Alpha from a nearby pack, but it ended up being a trap, and both Alphas started hunting him. Both for different reasons. One deceived, one nervous about the abilities of his father's top man. To this day, that Alpha pup was probably still nervous that Lenny would show back up and take revenge.
Lenny wasn't concerned about revenge. He got away and left his mother country, replaceing Kai along the way and both fleeing to this country for their own reasons, seeking asylum and freedom at the same time. Lenny owed his peace and freedom to Rodger, and he was willing to use his skill set once again to help the only leader who had put Lenny's wellbeing before anyone else's.
Rodger waved off Cindy and Alexi, both driving their own cars to Setting Sun Pack about twenty hours away.
It was time to get to work. Rodger looked at the building he had called home for the past two decades one last time. He built a new life here. He built a new family of men hurt by oppressive leadership in their original homes. This was the place he had waited for news from his sisters about the happenings of the life he was forced to leave behind. He sighed heavily, nostalgia setting in.
Broom Stixxx will be no more after this day. Once Lenny rigged the building just right to come crumbling down in a massive heap, the explosion from Kai's kitsune fire setting the whole thing in motion, they would be on their way to Setting Sun Pack too.
"Nice day we're having," a man with no hair, dressed in a black skin-tight shirt and black cargo pants said, stopping to stare up at the building alongside Rodger. He was almost a head shorter than Rodger, but there was something about the man that made Rodger wary of him right away. He tried to conceal his unease, looking at the stranger and putting on a friendly smile. "The breeze is quite nice," Rodger said.
The darkly dressed stranger nodded, rubbing his shaven chin. "I wanted to get out and go for a walk, it's so nice. I was getting a bit thirsty and was wondering if you knew what time this place opened?"
Rodger was sure that the militant-looking stranger had never set foot in his club before, and this wasn't the type of establishment you stopped in just to get a drink. There were many sports bars and restaurants a few blocks west outside of the seedy part of town. This also wasn't a neighborhood you just went for a walk in.
Maintaining his friendly air, Rodger pretended to think for a moment, like he was contemplating the club's hours.
"You know, we aren't supposed to open for another hour and a half," Rodger pretended to check his phone for the time, then while the screen was unlocked he let his arm holding the phone hang to his side and quickly typed a text to Lenny with his thumb, telling him to meet him behind the bar to deal with an 'issue". "I can make an exception today. I have a delivery coming in soon anyway."
"Really?" The stranger lifted an eyebrow. "That would be great." He then turned to look back at an SUV parked around the block, just barely in view beneath a beat-up stop sign and a large overgrown shrub. The windows were darkly tinted, hard to see into with human eyes, but Rodger wasn't your typical human. He saw two more men with shaved heads dressed all in black in the driver and passenger seat. One of the men had a pair of binoculars pointed right at them.
Rodger did a full scan of the street, like he was just admiring the beautiful day, then smiled back at the man standing next to him. He didn't want them to know he had seen them, and knew they would have to be dealt with too. Chances are that the man next to him was wiretapped, collecting intel before they carried out whatever plan they concocted. He was clearly human, and so were the men in the SUV. He could see it in their auras. They weren't sent by Chloe's former mate. Fire Moon would never stoop to recruiting the help of humans. These men were sent by different men, and from the conversations Mick had with him by phone early this morning, he had a good guess who sent them and what they were there for.
"Let me get that door for you," Rodger said, opening the door wide and waving the bald stranger in. He made sure to mistakenly bump into his shoulder, playing it off as an accident but being sure to send a burst of magic over the man to cloak all conversation he had between them from being picked up by the device taped to his chest. "This way for the bar. Let me grab you a beer."
...
"That was when Lenny met me and took our visitor to the dressing room to get information on who he and his friends were and what they were after," Rodger said, strumming his fingers on the conference room table. "We left soon after but took a different route here most of the way in case someone was following. When we were sure we were safe, we met up with Cindy and Alexi's cars just outside the state lines."
"It was me, wasn't it? What they were after," I asked, folding my arms on the table and resting my chin on top of them. My eyes were burning, my skin prickling as my guilt-driven anxiety rose. Fuck, I hated all of this. I hated causing problems for so many people. Not only was Cameron haunting my new life, but now this obsessive ex-client was making everything harder too.
"We dealt with them," Lenny spoke up and said. "They won't be found, even in the rubble."
