The Alphas’ P**n Star Mate
Chapter 90 – The Alphas’ Porn Star Mate

Rodger POV

face to face, and Driana looks much the same.

"Welcome, sisters," I said, hugging Paulina first, squeezing her tightly, smiling as she clicked her gums to express her happiness at seeing me. Then, Driana took my hands, squeezing them gently with that all-knowing smirk on her face. It's been twenty years since I have seen them "You got more wrinkles than I remember," Driana patted my cheek.

"Speak for yourself," I chuckled.

Paulina pulled on my sleeve, and then pointed to the door to the cottage door. A cottage Beta Desmond gave me for my sisters' use.

"Yes, this is where you will both be staying. I asked for somewhere more private, so you could be more comfortable. My charge, Kai, was kind enough to supply it with all the amenities you need." "And the ingredients for the spell?" Driana asked.

I nodded. "The last of them is being secured by Leonard. We couldn't very well replace tiger's blood and viper venom at the local market."

Paulina grunted in agreement and Driana cackled softly.

"So, I take it our niece is doing well with her mates?" Driana said, looking around the cottage as I carried in the few suitcases they brought with them.

I grimaced. "I'm not one-hundred percent sure about that. There was an incident this morning."

"Oh?" Driana lifted an eyebrow, retrieving her cigar from her pocket. "There was an incident?"

"A shooter," I sighed. "A disgruntled fan of Chloe's trying to kidnap her. I told you this."

"How does a kidnapping turn into a shooting?"

"When the people sent to kidnap her found themselves in a pack of wolves."

Driana took a long puff of her cigar, blowing out the purple smoke so it clouded in the air. "So how does a shooter breaking into the pack cause you to be uncertain about Chloe's commitment to her mates?" "Because the stress of the situation made things a little tense for them."

Her smirk deepened, and she exchanged a glance with Paulina. "Stress sometimes brings couples together. Especially if the bond is strong."

I studied both of them with analytical eyes, then asked, "Do you both know something that I don't?"

They looked at one another, their amusement palpable. Pauline walked over to her satchel, then pulled out a glass vial with a dark liquid inside. The liquid looked crimson, but there was a violet glimmer to it that I recognized as magic. I took a few steps closer, until I could feel the magic in the vial and then I gasped. It was Chloe's blood, and that magic had the same essence of mine.

"It started to glow just before we pulled in past the pack gates," Driana said. "Paulina wouldn't shut up about it."

I laughed when my other sister started to scold Driana by clicking her gums.

"She's mated fully to them both. Seems both men love her unconditionally, or the magic would never have been unlocked to its full extent. We never even got a flicker of magic while she was mated to that monster of Fire Moon."

"They're both good men," I whispered, taking my daughter's blood from Paulina's hand and studying it. The magic flowing in her must be strong. That made me anxious. Magic is a gift, but it can also be a curse. I don't know if I want my daughter to possess the thing that had put a target on my and her mother's back. Her mates might accept her unconditionally, but others might not.

"I can see your thoughts written clearly on your face," Driana said coldly as Paulina jerked the blood from my hands like she was trying to keep it safe. "She needs magic. She has too many dangers to be without it now."

"But it could just put her in more danger," I argued.

Paulina, croaked loudly in disapproval, motioning with her hands where I could take my anxieties.

"We won't allow her to be lost like her mother," Driana said. "You and those mates can't always protect her. She will have to learn to protect herself too. Not just in the werewolf ways. She has a powerful birthright. The power of her blood is evident right there." She pointed to the glass vial clutched in Paulina's hands.

Paulina clicked her gums at me.

"You might think you could teach her, but this is a pack, not a coven. They might not-"

"They have accepted two werebears, two werecats, a kitsune, six rogue wolves, a human and three witches on these pack grounds," Driana interrupted me. "I'm sure they will have no issue accepting their Luna as a witch hybrid as well. Especially if they don't mind her adult entertainment days," she added with a chuckle.

I groaned, wincing and looking away in exasperation. I hate hearing that about my daughter.

"Willow bark and living moss harvested from an oak tree at the first light of the moonlight. Were you able to attain those?" Driana asked, opening up an old beat-up suitcase to unpack the things we would need for the protection spell over the pack. The spell that will alert the Alphas of invaders should there be anymore.

"I found both before you came," I informed her.

"Good. Let us begin. With the spirit's guidance, we should have it ready by morning."

Just then, three distinctive howls broke through the night, causing us all to turn our head to the open door. I smiled to myself, instinctively recognizing the highest and sweetest sounding one. She sounds just like her mother.
