The Alpha's Progeny [The Alpha's #3] -
Epilogue
MALIK VLADIMIR
Malik stood with his arms crossed over his chest and a small smile on his face.
Training had already started for the day, including wolves of all ages, even those that would have been written off in their old pack. Those that weren’t training had started their day and those that hadn’t done that yet either, well, they were probably mostly teenagers making the most of their summer break.
A lot had changed in the last three years, and he was overjoyed to say that it was all for the better
While they were still the Apo to Chaos pack, they no longer worshipped the Moon Goddess. Instead, wolves were free to worship whoever or whatever they wanted. While there was a small, select group of them that still worshipped Lord Erebus despite the fact that he had been obliterated, Malik wasn’t one to judge. There were probably many reasons for that but he, personally, chose to worship no one. Nothing. Some of the pack chose to follow him while the rest of them turned to the Moon Goddess like their Luna. Who or what their pup – possibly pups if they were blessed again in the future – worshipped was still up for negotiation but they had both agreed that neither of them would influence his or her decisions.
Their belief in a God was probably the one thing that the pack wasn’t unified on.
Things no longer ran the way they did when his dad or Clayton was in charge. There was no longer a prayer session in the morning but instead, they filled that slot by lengthening training and breaking it down into smaller groups. The elderly weren’t previously allowed to train but now, under Malik’s reign and guidance, those that wanted to train, could.
The Apo to Chaos pack was no longer a social outcast to the rest of the packs. Instead, they often attended a lot of the events and mixers that nearby packs held. And even though the Lupum Griseo pack was several hours away from them, the two packs were frequent visitors to each other.
It helped that the Alpha and Luna of Lupum Griseo were nothing short of family to Malik and his mate.
“What are you thinking so hard about?” Trinity asked him in a small voice, wrapping herself around his arm.
“We’ve made so much progress in just three years,” Malik murmured, his lips curling up into a soft smile when he glanced down at his mate. Three years later and he still felt extremely blessed to wake up to her each and every morning.
“Yes, but not as much as you’ve made,” she nuzzled her face into his neck. “I’m so proud of you, Malik.”
“Thanks, Trin. I’m so proud of us as well.”
“Your mum would be so proud of you,” Trinity grinned, reaching up on her tip toes to press a kiss to the corner of his mouth.
“Correction,” he chuckled as he wound an arm around her waist, reeling her in as much as he could with her protruding belly in the way. “She would be so proud of the both of us,” he whispered the truth against her mouth.
If nothing else, there was one thing that Malik was absolutely certain of. His mum, wherever she was, was looking down on him, his little family, the entire pack, on all of them, and she was bloody proud.
