Chapter 584

"Of course I'll help you." William answered without hesitation.

"Then I'll help you too." Brittany clutched William's hand and said solemnly, "William, if you can help me without hesitation, then I'll help you too."

William kept his lips tightly closed. His pride prevented him from accepting the money from Brittany

"Bri, this is different."

"If you can't accept my help, then we can convert this money into shares." Brittany had thought it through, "I can invest in Dillion Group by turning my funds into shares based on market price. How does that sound?"

William remained silent. The Dillion family's financial condition was precarious. He had no confidence in bolstering their finances and the share price was also very low. Involving Brittany now would harm her interest for sure!

"Since Ms. Dustin insists, we'll follow her lead!" Timothy Dillion had appeared outside the office at some point. He didn't expect Brittany to invest at such a critical moment. The money she offered could at least alleviate the family's financial crisis temporarily.

"Timothy." Brittany stood up.

William wanted to object.

Timothy walked over to Brittany, "Ms. Dustin, are you sure?"

"Once we invest, we're tied together. There's no turning back."

Brittany had hesitated, but she believed William's kindness towards her was worth the risk.

"I'm sure."

Timothy sighed. The Dillion family was in deep trouble. The snobs had all gone and Brittany was the only one willing to help.

"Alright."

Timothy nodded, "I was cautious about you before, and I apologize."

He glanced at William, speaking in a deep voice, "My son is a stubborn boy, but he does like you. Whether or not you two end up together, you're a benefactor to the Dillion family."

Timothy had become more open-minded over the years; slowly, he accepted Brittany just like that

But for this time, the reason for the break in the financial chain was strange. He worried that the two might part their ways in the future,

William wanted to speak. But Timothy stopped him, immediately drafting a contract and selling the shares to Brittany at seventy percent of the market price.

After Brittany signed, she instructed her assistant to transfer the funds into Dillion Group's account.

William was still a bit stunned looking at the signed contract. Then he heard Brittany's voice.

"William, it's getting late. I'll take you home to rest."

William had been staying at Dillion Group for days and looked exhausted. He felt a bit uncomfortable under Brittany's gaze, but nodded, "Okay." Brittany dropped William off at the Dillion family's home. Mrs. Dillion had already learned about Brittany's investment; her attitude had noticeably improved. "Why don't you stay here tonight?"

Brittany was still on the driver's seat, "Mrs. Dillion, I have someone waiting for me at home. You take good care of William. I'll come back tomorrow.

"Okay."

Mrs. Dilliba helped William inside.

She noticed the smell of alcohol on him and frowned. She had William lie on the bed, had a servant make lemon water, and once he had drunk it and changed clothes, she let him crawl into bed. Back in his room, Timothy looked at the papers in his hand and sighed, "When Brittany comes back, be nicer to her."

"Tknow." Mrs. Dillion took the papers and reviewed them carefully, "I didn't expect Brittany to help us."

She had always been a little cold-shouldered to Brittany. Although she had accepted her reluctantly, she did not truly appreciate Brittany deep down. "She's a good girl."

If she wasn't a good girl, why would William like her for so many years?
