"You're pretentious Anna ah, son of the Xillzions you found," I unexpectedly said Andrea as we arranged pillows in a hotel room.

After Andrea and I cleaned up we immediately went straight to the reception area to pick up our stuff because our work was done.

5:30 am, the sun was shining as we walked out of the hotel.

"OMG Anna, you're really beautiful. Look there," she said as she motioned for me to look behind me.

I immediately looked in that direction.

I saw a familiar face, if I'm not mistaken it was Daruel.

He was wearing an office uniform.

"All right, I'll go first Anna, it looks like you still have a date," Andrea teased.

"Date my ass, go ahead be careful," I replied, she started to walk away while waving.

"Hi," Daruel casually said as he approached me.

"Hello," I replied.

"Ahm... Let us go?" he nodded and immediately took my carry-on bag. I smiled and nodded.

We went to his car, and we left immediately.

"Would you like to have coffee first? I know one of a good café," he said as his eyes focused on the road.

"It's up to you, your treat?"

"Yes, why not?" he laughed. He later parked the car in a familiar spot.

Wait! We are here now at Guxillian Cafe!!

I suddenly remembered what had happened that night.

Daruel immediately came down and opened me up.

"Thank you," I said, he smiled and walked first.

We casually walked in. I immediately rolled my eyes and was so grateful not to see the woman I had talked to before.

We immediately sat down on a soft sofa and a waitress approached.

"Hello ma'am, sir can I have your order?" She promised enthusiastically.

'Just an Iced coffee to me," I replied.

"One cappuccino and two slices of black forest cake," Daruel added.

"Ahm sir please just write your name here," the woman said and handed over a piece of paper.

"Ahm...Okay, Mr. Daruel Shawn and Ms. Anna Shawn. Would you like to avail our couple coupons? We're offering it for a couple like you." I didn't expect the waitress's promise. Ms. Anna Shawn?

Couple? What the fuck.

"Anna Madrigal," I correct. Daruel laughed softly as he watched my reaction.

"Ahm...No, not yet," Daruel replied as my eyes widened.

Not yet?

What!? Not yet!?

Does he have any plans to...

The waitress looked at me while listening.

"Okay ma'am, sir I will deliver your order shortly," she said and left immediately.

"It's good to hear that my last name fits your name," he laughed.

'I'm beautiful so all paired with me is beautiful too," I teased. He laughed again.

All of a sudden I felt cold because I was wearing a short uniform and air-con here inside the café. I don't know if Daruel noticed that because he suddenly stood up took off his polo and wrapped it around me. "Thank you," I said. Eventually, our order arrived as well, we talked for a long time until I felt the call of nature.

"Ahm...Daruel, I'll go to cr, excuse myself " I let go. He nodded, I immediately went to the comfort room. I was also there for a few seconds and I immediately went out, but I was back at Daruel's place when I saw the familiar face. Right! She's the woman I talked to before.

"Ma'am," she grabs my attention and immediately approaches me.

"Hello," I shyly promised.

"I forgot to give you something, you were in a hurry last night," she explained and handed over a paper. "The man who brought you here last night gives it to me, he rented this café all night so you can rest here," he added. "Ah...T-Thank y-you," I replied. He nodded and immediately returned to work. I also went back to where Daruel was.

Later we decided to go home because it would be early in the morning and I was already feeling drowsy.

"Thanks for coming with me today," he said as we arrived at Thea's condo.

"I really should be the one to thank you for treating and delivering me."

"You're welcome...Sleep tight, sweet dreams," he said with a smile.

"You too," I replied before finally entering. When I entered the condo I almost jumped in shock to see Thea in front of the door and she was smiling broadly. "Love is in the air..." She said laughing.

"Thea, why are you still awake?" I thought how could you be so I can't sleep. That's why you're safe because of your knight and shining armor," he said with a shudder. "Stop it, Thea, that's just my friend."

"Daruel is handsome, rich, and kind. Where else can you replace that, believe me, he is kind, I have known him for a long time," she said?

After all, Daruel is boyfriend material-fuck! What I'm talking about.

"Let's just go to sleep Thea, you've to work early tomorrow," I changed the subject. He frowned like a child.

"I still want to know your date with Daruel."

"Date? No way Thea, I'm going to sleep," I replied and immediately entered my room.

I immediately went to the cr to take a bath, I also spent some time before I finished. I immediately lay down on the bed.

I stared at the ceiling for a few more seconds as I remembered the letter the woman had given me earlier at the hotel. I immediately flipped over and took it out of my bag. Hey, bitch. Do not associate with any man. Maybe when I wasn't at that time, you were crying now because your virginity was gone.

I climbed back into bed and gradually fell asleep.

"You shouldn't be here!" A man's voice rang in my ear. I feel the gradual warming of the body. I could feel the heat coming from me where I was lying. "Help! Help! Help me!" I cried because my skin was almost scorched by the intensity of the heat sticking to my skin. "Let me go!" I add to whoever. "No way young lady. You'll just ruin our plan."

"Show up! Let me out of here!" I beg.

Gradually an image appeared. I could almost cover my mouth to see who it was.

I woke up immediately because of that dream. I immediately wiped the tears from my cheeks, I looked out the window and the sun was shining brightly. What is that stupid guy doing in my dream?

I immediately went to the cr to brush my teeth. I still can't get that dream out of my mind.

I immediately left the room and as I expected Thea was gone as she had already entered her work.

I was about to prepare something to eat when suddenly there was a knock on the door. I immediately went there and opened it, shocked to see Daruel carrying Tupperware.

"Good morning, ahm...I've cooked a lot of adobo so I thought I'd bring you," he opened and handed me a Tupperware.

"T-Thank y-you..." I said shyly. "Have you eaten?"

"Not yet."

"Join me here, it looks like you brought a lot for me," I asked.

"It's okay with you?"

"Sure, come in." I walked ahead to prepare something to eat. Take a look at it before sitting down at the table.

Eventually, I also finished preparing, I sat down in front of him.

"It looks delicious," I said while spooning the rice.

"It's delicious, the chef is delicious too," he teased.

We have already started eating. We just kept quiet until he opened up another conversation.

"Aren't you having a hard time with your job?" he asked in surprise. I stopped and took a sip of water.

"There's no easy job, is there?"

"Yes, but...ahm... How much is your salary per month?"

"Why? Are you in debt?" I laughed. "35 thousand per month."

"Ahm...You can join dad's company, we'll give you a bigger salary. So that you don't get too tired," he said, staring at him in surprise.

"You're smart. But it's okay, I'm not having a hard time with my job right now, thanks for the offer."

He just nodded and continued eating.

"The girl who's being with you for the rest of your life is so lucky," he stopped when I suddenly said that. "You're smart and you're rich. Gentleman and handsome, but I'm just wondering why you don't have a girlfriend? Are you gay?" I teased. He almost choked because of what I said.

"Gay?" he laughed softly. "You were really staring at my body back then, and I also had girlfriends in case the outcome of the relationship was too toxic so it ended easily." The sadness was obvious in her voice.

"Ahm... 'm sorry because I mentioned more."

"It's okay, how about you? Have you ever had a boyfriend?"

"Nothing yet, do you want to apply?" I teased.

"Why not?" He grinned.

"Hey just kidding," I laughed.

"Why? Didn't I meet your standard?"

"It's not like that, I still have a lot of dreams so I don't plan on having a boyfriend yet," I explained. He nodded and we continued eating.

A few minutes also passed and we also finished eating.

"Thank you again for the food," I said as he left the condo.

"Thank you too, see you around," he said goodbye and waved before finally leaving.
