The Billionaire's Mistake (Anya and Daniel) -
MISTAKE 92
hapter 92: Anya is Taken
Anya sat with her friend Emma, who looked scared and sad. They were talking about Emma's young son, Henry, and the problems in Emma's home. Anya knew she had to help her friend make some tough choices.
"Then you prefer him to grow up in a home where his father hits his mother?" Anya asked gently, watching Emma's face carefully. She hated seeing her friend hurt like this.. Emma twisted her hands in her lap. "So I should leave? Just because of that?"
"Isn't that enough?" Anya leaned forward, her voice firm but kind. "You are his mother, so I'll ask you now. Look inside your heart-is that home really the safest place for Henry to grow up, or is it just the place you think is family because you're used to it? Is he truly safe in that house?" Anya paused, then added, "He's almost three years old but can't talk yet. Do you really want me to believe nothing bad is happening in that house?"
Anya reached out and touched Emma's hand. "Emma, I just want what's best for you and Henry. Richard is a lawyer who has helped other people like you, and he can help us figure out the legal stuff. But you need to be strong. You are Henry's mother. You need to protect him, even if it means burning that whole life down. What are you so afraid of? How much longer can Henry wait?"
Emma's hands started shaking at Anya's words. Her eyes filled with tears, and her face showed how much pain she was in. Biting her lip to keep from crying, she finally whispered, "She would tie him up in his room." As soon as she said the words, Emma seemed to freeze, like she couldn't believe she'd actually said them out loud.
"Who did it?" Anya's voice cracked with anger.
"She would lock him in a dark room for hours while I was away," Emma continued, her voice trembling.
"WHO did this?!" Their friend Olivia demanded.
"My mother-in-law," Emma finally admitted.
Richard, the lawyer who had been quietly listening, spoke up. His voice was cold and serious." Then take everything from them."
Emma looked at him helplessly. "I have a preschool. If I leave the marriage, I get nothing, and I have to leave Henry behind."

"Not with a grandmother like that," Richard said firmly. "From what your sister told me, you have no power in your own home. Even when you're there, the staff only listens to your mother-in-law and husband. If you can't stop her from hurting your child, what about your husband? He doesn't seem to care at all. There's a good chance you'll get to keep Henry, and they'll have to pay you money too."
Emma sat up straighter, hope showing in her eyes for the first time. "Is there really a good chance?"
"We can do even more," Richard continued. "We can sue your mother-in-law for hurting Henry and your husband for hurting you. Even if it doesn't go to court, we can shake up their business until they agree to settle with you. I have a friend who's really good at cases like this. Do you want to try?"
Emma knew they were right. Henry was still young-there was still time to get him help and make things better.
"I will try," she decided, her voice stronger now.
"When you get home, get copies of everything," Richard instructed. "If there are security cameras, get the footage. If there are financial papers or bills, I want to see all of it." "You're sure this will work?" Emma asked nervously.
Richard nodded seriously. "Yes, Emma, it's possible. I'll help you explore all your options, making sure both you and Henry are safe. I'll handle everything carefully and privately."

After the meeting, Anya headed to work at her bookstore. It was a beautiful morning-the sun was shining, and there was a cool breeze that made the leaves dance. She had no idea that this normal day was about to turn into something terrible. Anya said goodbye to Daniel and went to work wearing her favorite comfortable outfit. The bookstore was her new happy place, filled with wonderful books and the smell of coffee. But someone was waiting to trap her.
As Anya walked the familiar streets to a bookstore her sister owns, enjoying the peaceful atmosphere she had come to so much. She could see why Emma built the bookstore. It was a good escape. The morning sun made long shadows on the sidewalk, but darker shadows were waiting for her.
The day went normally at first. Customers browsed the shelves, coffee brewed in the little café corner, and people sat quietly reading. But everything changed when Anya got a scary phone call just before closing time.
"Anya Jones, we have your nephew," a strange, scary voice said through the phone. "Leave the bookstore right now and go to the alley behind the building. Don't call the police, or he will die. "Then she heard what sounded like her nephew's voice in the background. Anya's heart started racing. She tried calling her sister right away, but no one answered. She tried her sister's house phone too, but still no answer. She wished she had her brother-in-law's number saved. She tried to think quickly about what to do. Fear made her whole body feel cold. She could barely breathe as she thought about what the caller had said. She looked at her friend Angela, who worked at the store with her. Angela could tell something was very wrong just by loolding at Anya's face. Chu:76 92. Anya is Takeit
Anya quickly closed up the store, her hands shaking as she turned the locks. The alley behind the store, which she passed every day without thinking twice, now seemed dark and scary. When Anya reached the spot the caller told her to go to, she heard footsteps behind her. A person wearing a mask stepped out of the shadows. Anya's heart pounded even harder. "Where is my nephew?" she demanded. She had already sent a quick emergency message to her husband on her phone.
"What nephew?" the masked person asked with a cruel laugh.
Suddenly, more men appeared from the shadows. Before Anya could scream, someone grabbed her from behind and put their hand over her mouth. She tried to fight back, but they were too strong.
They pressed a cloth against her face that smelled sickly sweet. Anya's head started spinning, and everything got blurry. As she realized she was being kidnapped, pure terror shot through her body. Why did this have to happen on a day when her husband wasn't around? As she started to pass out, Anya saw a car with dark windows waiting nearby. The last thing she remembered was the masked person dragging her toward it.
When Anya woke up, she was in the car. The spacé felt tiny and suffocating, and there was a strange smell in the air. As her mind cleared, she realized her hands and feet were tied up with
rope.
Fresh panic hit her as everything came into focus. The car was dim inside, but she could see enough to know the horrible truth-she had been kidnapped, taken from her safe, happy bookstore, and thrown into a nightmare.
The car's engine made a steady humming sound as they drove. Anya could only take short,

panicky breaths in the small space. She felt completely helpless.
The person in the mask was sitting next to her now, where she could see them clearly. When Anya looked into their eyes, she saw no kindness or mercy there.
They drove in terrible silence. Every minute that passed made Anya more scared.
Questions kept spinning in her head: Who would want to kidnap her? Who were these people? She desperately hoped her husband would replace her soon.
As they drove through twisting streets, the familiar city turned into places Anya didn't recognize. Tied up in the car, she felt more scared and alone with each passing minute. Finally, the car stopped suddenly, making Anya jerk forward. When the door opened, bright light poured in, hurting her eyes. The masked person motioned for her to get out. Anya found herself looking at an old, abandoned warehouse. Her fear made her extra alert, and she looked around quickly for anything that might help her escape.
The masked person led her into the warehouse The air inside smelled old and horrible-so bad it made Anya want to throw up. Her footsteps echoed in the empty building, making the whole experience even more frightening. She could barely keep herself from being sick. Deep inside the warehouse, they took her to a room that seemed designed to frighten people. It had cold metal surfaces and dim lights that cast creepy shadows. Anya silently begged the masked person to let her go, but they just pointed to a lonely chair in the middle of the room. Still tied up and terrified, Anya felt the full weight of her situation. The masked person left her alone in the scary silence.
Time seemed to stop in that room. Anya's mind raced with fear as she wondered what would happen to her. The only sound was her own frightened breathing.

Then the door creaked open, and someone new walked in someone without a mask. When Anya saw their face, she felt even more scared because she recognized them. It was someone from her past, someone she never expected to see again, especially not like this. The person who had kidnapped her was no longer hiding behind a mask, and Anya knew their face
She looked at him with a deep frown.
"Anya," they said her name in a way that made her shiver. Was this someone from her past, someone who wanted revenge? The room seemed to get smaller as Anya tried to understand why this was happening.
The person walked in circles around her chair, staring at her like a cat about to pounce on a mouse. Anya was still tied up, but she found the courage to speak. "Why are you doing this? What do you want?"
The kidnapper smiled in a way that made Anya's blood run cold. "It's fine. It's not really about you. Well, it is about you. You should have just married Mr. Grey when you were told to.
Suddenly, memories Anya had tried to forget came flooding back. She remembered faces from her past and realized this had something to do with old problems she thought were finished. "You," she gasped. "You're my uncle's butler."
The kidnapper's awful laugh echoed through the room. But even though Anya was terrified, she felt something else too-determination. Whatever secrets from her past had led to this moment, she would face them bravely.
