Chapter 19

I didn’t realize that I had fainted again. When I opened my eyes, I woke up in a dark place. It wasn’t too dark; there was just enough light to see the surroundings, and I could still make out the appearance of the place. From my estimate, it seemed like I

was in a room.

I blinked several times and tried to move my b*dy, but I could only groan in pain due to the overwhelming heaviness I felt. I couldn’t recall much of what happened. Where am I, and why am I here? How did I end up in this situation?

I heard a rustling sound that startled me. As my eyes adjusted to the surroundings, I noticed a light coming from under the door in front of me. There’s someone inside.

My eyes widened as I recalled the events–I was at the mall with Dominic until I encountered the three siblings. They kidnapped me and brought me to their territory to interrogate and electrified me.

The subsequent events are a blur, and I can’t remember what happened next.

But I remember someone helping me untie the ropes from my hands and feet, and that’s as far as my mind could recall the events. I jerked in surprise as the door suddenly opened, and the lights went out, plunging the entire space into darkness.

I gulped as I saw the figure of a person slowly approaching my position. He wasn’t speaking, but I sensed he was a man from the size of his silhouette.

I wanted to speak, but for some reason, I couldn’t open my mouth. Instead, I decided to pretend to be asleep.

He might see that I’m awake and staring at him. Who is he, and why did he help me escape from the siblings? Despite wanting to move and get up, my muscles still feel

weak.

He suddenly lay down beside me, maintaining a distance. There was a space between. us. I kept taking deep breaths repeatedly. Why am I suddenly tongue–tied? Why can’t I think straight?

“Please… wh–who are you? Let me go; my boyfriend might be looking for me.”

I wonder what Dominic looks like now. I know he must be really worried about me, doing everything to replace me. Now that I’m awake, if I have the means to leave wherever I am, I’ll do it.

I don’t want him to worry about me because I know how nerve–wracking and deeply troubling it can be.

He didn’t answer my question. Instead, the bed beneath us moved, a sign that he shifted.

I slowly moved my head and looked at him beside me. Even though I knew it was dark, and I couldn’t see him clearly, I felt like his gaze penetrated deep into my soul.

I closed my eyes tightly, “Please, I beg you, don’t do anything harmful to me, whoever you are. I have children, and I need to go back to them. I don’t know what connection you have to Damon’s family, but please give me a chance at life.”

My voice cracked, and I knew the desperation was evident, but I’ve been without my children for days, and I know they must be worried about me too.

I waited for a few seconds to see if he would say anything, but after a few minutes, he remained silent. I tried to move, but I struggled because my muscles were still trembling.

“I won’t hurt you; I’ll take you home,” he finally spoke.

I furrowed my brow upon hearing his voice, as if it were familiar to me, but I couldn’t. figure out whose it was. In a moment, he continued speaking.

“And please don’t doubt me. If you know me, I just want to have a good conversation with you.”

What does he mean? I was about to speak when, to my surprise, he grabbed both of my wrists and pinned me to the bed. I gasped in shock, feeling his breath brushing against my skin.

“W–what are you doing?! Let me go!”

I shouted, but he quickly silenced me, “Like I said, I won’t do anything harmful to you. Because if I didn’t care, I would have let my siblings torture you.”

His siblings…

I felt like a bucket of cold water was poured over me as I realized what he meant.

“Damon?!”

He didn’t respond immediately, and in his silence, my suspicion was confirmed. My heart rate quickened, and my bones and muscles weakened, not out of nervousness or fear, but out of intense anger coursing through my system.

“Let go of me! How dare you! What do you want from me?!”

I immediately struggled to break free from his grip. I tried to move my b*dy, despite feeling extremely weak, but he wouldn’t let go. Although the surroundings were dark, I

could vividly imagine how his pestilent face looked right now.

“Can you please calm down?!”

“No! Why would I calm down?! You’re an animal! You f*cker! Maybe you ordered your siblings to kidnap me! Please! This is too much! My children are looking for me!”

I couldn’t help but burst into tears, shouting continuously. I exploded with anger and frustration, losing the composure I should have maintained in front of him. I thought I was going to die carlier when they ganged up on me. And now, I’m left alone in a room with the man who caused so much trouble in my life!

“Stop it! I’m begging you! This is not funny anymore!”

I was about to scream again when I was surprised as something soft pressed against my l*ps. At first, I couldn’t identify what it was, but when it suddenly moved, I realized that he was k*ssing me!

My eyes widened, and my entire b*dy tensed. At first, I couldn’t react, but when hist hands began to roam boldly, that’s when I exploded even more.

“D–Damon!” I tried to evade, but he didn’t let me. Instead, he pressed his b*dy event closer, leaving me defenseless against him.

His k*sses were rapid, as if he was chasing time. Unluckily, I couldn’t move my muscles well, and curses kept repeating in my mind.

I wanted to fight back, but I couldn’t. I wanted to push him away, but my b*dy. remained weak. Even if I screamed and called for help, no one would hear me since we were the only ones in the room.

All I could do was cry. Tears streamed down my face uncontrollably. It was so heavy, so infuriating, so frustrating, but I couldn’t do anything else. So I just let him do whatever he wanted to me.

I wanted to sob, but I couldn’t. All my tears gathered on my face, which Damon felt. because he stopped.

I feel his eyes staring at me even though I can’t see him. I closed my eyes tightly, letting my tears flow because I knew he couldn’t see me either due to the darkness.

“Why did you stop? Isn’t this what you want? To take advantage of me as much as you can? That’s the kind of person you are, right?”

He remained silent, but I felt him move away from me. I was puzzled, but I didn’t question him. Even if he left, I couldn’t get up because my b*dy was weak.

After a while, he suddenly spoke.

“Everything you’re saying to me is not true.”

I was about to say something when I suddenly felt my b*dy floating, as if someone

for support.

I thought he would answer my question, but this time he remained silent. After a while, I was surprised when the door opened, and finally, there was light, and I could see his

face.

His appealing appearance is now shining brightly in my eyes. His hair is a bit messy, but it doesn’t diminish his looks. Instead, it adds to his masculine charm.

We passed through a spacious hallway. I didn’t know exactly where we were, but my guess was that it was one of his houses. This doesn’t look like their mansion.

As we walked through the hallway, we passed by a spacious living room that made me marvel at the interior designs. There was no one else in the house but the two of us.

I couldn’t help but wonder… Was he really the one who helped me escape from his three sisters?

As we exited the house, he immediately led me to the car. Once he settled into the driver’s seat, he fastened my seatbelt and started the car.

“I’ll take you home safely so our children can finally see you.”
