Chapter 113
There were many customers shopping, but to be honest, the young saleswoman thought that among all the customers, Christy was the best dressed, looking like a fairy who had descended to earth!
Joshua seemed very dissatisfied with the clothes here, making Christy try on one after another.
By the time Christy had tried on twenty evening gowns, she had already worn all the highest–end clothes of the season.
In the end, Joshua asked Christy to put on the blue, dreamy evening gown again.
The main reason was that he was wearing a blue suit today, and if Christy also wore blue, they would match as a couple.
When he discovered this thought, he was quite surprised.
Why was he increasingly caring about Christy?
“Sir, this dress is 9,000 dollars, will you be paying in cash or by card?” the young saleswoman enthusiastically asked.
“Who said I’m buying just one dress?” Joshua said coldly.
The saleswoman was taken aback!
Could it be that in the end, Joshua didn’t even like one of the dresses?
The manager saw this and made a snide remark. “Turns out we were busy for nothing. They were just trying on clothes for free. Newcomers need to gain more experience.”
The young saleswoman looked a bit disappointed, but she still smiled and said.
“Manager, the customer is always right. Just because she’s not buying now doesn’t mean she won’t buy later. As employees here, we must treat every customer with the best service.”
“Are you the manager or am I? When is it your turn as a newcomer to lecture me?” The manager scolded angrily.
“Disrespect me, and you might not pass your probation!”
The young saleswoman lowered her head in fear.
“How can you do this?” Even Christy couldn’t stand it anymore.
She felt guilty that the young saleswoman was scolded for defending her.
Joshua glanced at the manager.
With an icy stare, the manager’s smile froze, unable to laugh.
She complained inwardly!
This man was so handsome, but why were his eyes so terrifying!
“You misunderstood. Pack up all the clothes my woman just tried on,” Joshua commanded the young saleswoman with an air of authority.
So it wasn’t just buying one dress or not buying any?
It was all of them?
“What?” The young saleswoman was stunned for a second, finally realizing what was happening. She joyfully exclaimed, “Sir, please wait a moment!”
Christy had just tried on twenty dresses! That was quite a number, and this gentleman was really willing to spend money on this beautiful lady!
Christy looked at Joshua speechlessly and asked.
“Why did you buy so many?”
“What’s too much about this? You wear one a day, and there aren’t even enough here to last a month.” Joshua gazed at Christy, smiling tenderly.
His deep, brown eyes were as mesmerizing as the night sky, seemingly filled with a mysterious charm. It was easy to get lost in them if you stared for too long.
Christy dared not meet his gaze, looking away nervously.
Seeing her deliberately avoiding his eyes, Joshua smirked playfully, leaned down to her ear, and whispered softly.
“How can I make a statement against that person who looked down on you if I don’t buy so many? How about it? Did I avenge you?”
What?

Christy was utterly surprised.
“I noticed earlier that woman looking down on you, saying you couldn’t afford the clothes from her store and not letting you touch them. So, I decided to buy all the most expensive clothes here and not even give her the chance to make any sale. That’ll teach her!” Joshua’s lips curved into a vengeful smile.
Christy’s heart trembled, a touch of gratitude welling up inside her.
Being looked down upon earlier had indeed frustrated her.
But she didn’t expect Joshua to care so much about her, spending over a hundred thousand just to stand up for her.
*Thank you, but that manager wasn’t wrong. I really can’t afford these dresses. Next time, don’t spend so much! It’s just a moment of anger. You don’t have to waste over a hundred thousand.”
“Who says you can’t afford it? You’re my woman. You deserve the best, and it’s not a waste! If it weren’t for the time crunch, I wouldn’t even let you pick clothes here. I think this brand is too low–end.” Joshua complained.
“It’s your fault for not listening. I prepared a whole wardrobe of good clothes for you, but you didn’t even look at them. Now, in a hurry, you insist on coming to this low–end place to buy cheap clothes. If I hadn’t come, would you have put up with all that disrespect? Where would that leave my pride?”
Cheap clothes?
Hearing their store’s clothes being so disparaged by this incredibly handsome man, all the saleswomen were speechless!
Was a nine–thousand–dollar dress that cheap?
Christy thought Joshua could sometimes be very domineering.
Everyone in the store felt the couple was showing off their love.
Especially that young salesgirl, thinking how happy she would be if a man was willing to spend so much on designer clothes
for her.
After the cashier finished scanning the bar codes, she smiled and said, “Sir, it’s a total of 180,000 dollars. Will you be paying cash or by card?”
Joshua took out his Diamond Black Card.
Seeing this card, the cashier’s expression became even more respectful, her gaze toward Joshua changing from infatuation to admiration.
This card symbolized wealth and status, not something just anyone with money could have.
The cashier realized that the man before her was extraordinary.
“Miss, if there are any quality issues with the clothes, you can call our store anytime. We offer full refunds and exchanges. We look forward to your next visit.”
The clothes had already been neatly packaged by the young salesgirl.
“Alright, thank you!” Christy said, preparing to carry the bags.
Joshua held her hand.
“Aren’t you going to the art exhibition? What are you doing with these? Leave them here. I’ll have Roy pick them up for you later, Joshua said.
Christy thought about it and agreed.
Now, she suddenly realized the benefits of having a personal driver.
Shopping without having to carry bags herself…
The young saleswoman made her first sale, selling over a hundred thousand dollars‘ worth of clothes, making the store manager envious.
Who said Christy couldn’t afford it carlier? Now, the manager must have regretted.
At this moment, the store manager regretted it so much!
If only she had known that Christy’s boyfriend was so wealthy, she would have greeted her from the beginning! Then, this sales performance of over a hundred thousand dollars could have been credited to her.
With a hundred thousand dollars in sales and a two percent commission, she could have made over 3,000 dollars!
Now, the 3,000 dollars went to the newcomer, and the more the store manager thought about it, the more upset she became, glaring at the young saleswoman with resentment.
If this continued, all her achievements would be taken away, and the store manager would lose her reputation!
She was calculating, trying to replace a reason to fire the newcomer and transfer all the achievements to herself.

Joshua noticed the manager’s sinister gaze.
As Christy was eager to check out the art exhibition, Joshua suddenly stopped her with a dangerous smile on his lips.
