Chapter 95~ Dating secretly

“Did you tell my brother about us?” Celia asked the moment she entered Tony’s car. They were going on their first date after Tony recovered from his injuries. However, Celia didn’t want anyone to know about them until they were sure the relationship would last.

“No, I didn’t. He’s too busy taking care of the triplets…” Tony trailed… he started the car and manoeuvred it out of the spot they had agreed to meet in order to not be seen by others. Once they were on the road, he gave Celia a side glance and said, “But I would love to.”

Silence befell them because Celia didn’t know how to respond. After a while, she remarked, “I don’t know how your family would take it. You might be ok with being with an older woman who’s divorced but your parents wouldn’t like it. Let’s take things slow for now, ok?”

Tony nodded but he voiced out about what had been bothering him. “You keep saying you’re older than me… have you tried me? Did you already prove that I can’t handle you? I can’t wait to show you that age is just a number, Cee. I’ll make you scream my name the whole night.”@

Understanding his innuendo, Celia’s face flushed pink. She hadn’t been intimate with anyone in a while so she couldn’t help but feel tingles in between her legs. She stole a peek at Tony and admired his frame.

He was handsome, with a great lean body. Recently, he had kept a trimmed moustache and sideburns. The look was giving mature and manly vibes.

She couldn’t help but wonder if it was too early for them to take the relationship to the next level. However, they hadn’t even kissed yet. They had been texting and calling each other for the past weeks but because Tony was in and out of the City, they couldn’t meet each other physically.

‘Is it ok to do all three phases at once?’ Celia silently mused. Minutes later, they finally arrived at their destination. Since their date was supposed to be a secret, Tony chose a place where no one would see them. It was his private farm which he often went to when he wanted to do something therapeutic.

“You might not know, but farming is one of my hobbies. I love growing vegetables and I also have a garden of flowers, would you like to see it?” He asked Celia as they entered the farm.

“Don’t worry, that won’t be our date. We are having a picnic thereafter… I just want to show you this other side of me.” Tony added. Celia nodded and replied, “Sure, I would love to.”

The two of them went to the farmhouse and changed into boots. Tony took Celia around to see the vegetables that he was growing in the fields. She was amazed by what she saw… the land was vast with lots of vegetables. It was not something someone could do on their own.

“You did this?” She asked, glancing at him. Tony chuckled and said, “The farm workers did most of the work but I usually help out. I love being involved in the process.”

He showed her his vineyard and said, ” These grapes are grown for commercial use. I also have a winery and we export our wine. I’ll take you there one of these days.”

Celia nodded in appreciation. She remarked, “I didn’t know you did other things apart from being a lawyer or the owner of a law firm.” Tony smirked and responded, “There’s a lot about me you are yet to know, darling.”

After he was done showing Celia his projects, Tony took her to a meadow where he had set up a picnic for her. All the flowers in the meadow were planted by him. Celia gasped as she looked at the scene before her.

In the middle of the meadow, surrounded by wildflowers and daisies, a blanket was spread on the ground. On it was a basket that she assumed had their food and all that they needed.

There was a small radio on the side and a bucket of ice with a bottle of wine in it. A freestanding cantilever umbrella cast a shadow on the blanket, shielding it from the blazing sun.

“Did you set this up yourself? This is so beautiful, Tony!” Celia exclaimed. Tony shook his head and said, “I had help… it had to be set up a few minutes before we got here, otherwise, the food would go bad. Are you upset that I didn’t do it myself?”

“No… It’s the thought that counts. You planned this while thinking of me. That’s all that matters,” Celia responded as her eyes gleamed.

Her heart was pounding erratically as butterflies fluttered in her stomach. This was the first time someone was doing something like this for her. She used to go on dates with her former husband but it was always fancy restaurants with bodyguards all over. They couldn’t talk much because he would always be on his phone, busy working.

It was only now that she was starting to see what she was missing. How could she have been so blind? Tony placed a hand on the small of Celia’s back and led her to the blanket. They sat and their romantic picnic began.

As they had their meal, they talked about their relationship. Tony said jokingly, “What would you do if I proposed to you right now?”

He was testing the waters to see if Celia would want to get married to him. The truth was, he had already bought the ring and if Celia gave him the green light, he would get down on his knees. and pop the question.

To him, they didn’t have to date for a long time for him to know that she was the one he wanted to spend the rest of his life with. He knew from the word go that he wanted to make her his wife.

However, Celia’s eyes widened at his question. She blinked and asked incredulously, “What? Don’t tell me you’re going to propose today?”

Tony chuckled awkwardly and scratched the back of his neck. He averted his eyes for a few seconds before looking back at her and remarked, “Would it be a bad idea?”

“Of course it would!” Celia answered outright and Tony felt like he had been stabbed in the chest. It was as if someone had poured a bucket of icy water over his head. “Why?” His voice came out low and somewhat hurt..

Did it mean Celia never saw a future with him? Or was she still ashamed of him because he was younger than her?

His throat felt dry and he attempted to swallow the lump that was stuck in his throat. Hiding his emotions, he inquired, “What are we, Celia? Where do you see us in the next five years?”

Celia sighed. She had noticed how her reaction affected Tony but she didn’t want to lie to him. Looking him in the eyes, she explained, “I don’t want to get married now, Tony. Can we just date each other for now? I’ve been married before and I feel like the love and passion disappears after you get married.”

Tony frowned at her words. “But I’m not Marco. Your marriage didn’t work out because he was the wrong guy. Marriage is beautiful… haven’t you learnt anything from your brother? At first, he hurt the woman he thought he didn’t love. When he was clear about how he felt, it was too late. Luckily, fate gave him a second chance and I’m sure he will never hurt Tessa again. It’s impossible for a man to hurt a woman he loves if he knows what kind of treasure he has.

Celia, I can never hurt you because I know how important you are to me. You’re a priceless treasure. I’m so in love with you that you can tell me to do anything for you right now and I will do it. In fact, I loved you many years ago when I was just a teen. I could only watch when you fell in love with someone else and left. I’ve never been able to be in a stable relationship ever since… and now I know why.

It has always been you and I’m so glad we found our way back to each other.” Celia’s heart skipped a beat. She arched an eyebrow and glanced at Tony, asking, “So, you were a naughty teen who had a crush on his friend’s older sister?”

Tony laughed and began to tickle Celia on the sides of her waist.

“Are you teasing me for crushing on you, huh?” “Ah! Haha…” Celia burst into laughter and writhed this way and that, trying to escape from Tony’s attacks. She laughed so hard that tears wound up brimming in the corner of her eyes.

“Tony… stop it! Ah!”

“I’ll stop when you stop talking about our age difference… I may be younger than you but I’m a grown man and I love you!” Tony said as he continued to tickle her until she was breathless.

“Ok! I’ll stop… I won’t talk about it anymore! Tony!” Celia laughed until she cried. Tony withdrew his hands but then, he hovered on top of her and levelled his face with hers.

Now they were looking into each other’s eyes… Brown eyes against grey… Celia was breathing heavily, her chest kept rising and falling and while at it, her breasts kept brushing Tony’s chest.

Sparks flew as they stared into each other’s souls… the sexual tension was intense. Celia wondered if this was it…. if Tony would kiss her at that moment. She could feel her heart banging against the walls of her chest.

Her eyes lowered to his lips and she stuck her tongue out before running it along her lips. Tony noticed this and he took it as an invitation. In one move, he leaned over and claimed her lips in a fiery kiss.

Celia felt tingles rush down her spine. Her core knotted when Tony’s lips connected with hers. She could feel the way his heart was racing against her chest and knew she affected him the way he affected her.

Wrapping her arms around his neck, she parted her lips and responded to his kiss with equal passion. She met his tongue with hers and Tony deepened the kiss, taking charge.

With his palms braced on the ground, he sucked on Celia’s lips as if they were a sweet kind of candy. He felt himself hardening in his pants and ended up grinding on her crotch.

Celia’s eyes widened when she felt how big and hard Tony got. A small smile crossed her lips because she was proud that she could get him hard.

As they kissed, she reached her hand below and slipped her fingers into the band of Tony’s pants, wanting to touch his rod. However, Tony held her hand and let up from the kiss. While breathing heavily, he said, “Not here… Not today.”

Celia frowned and asked, “Why not? I think here is perfect.” “I don’t want to make love to you on our first date. I’m trying to be a gentleman here=”

“Are we teenagers? We are in our freaking thirties! Come on, Mr Hendrix… help a horny woman out,” Celia remarked.

She reached for her pants and shimmied out of them. Kicking them off, she parted her legs and pointed at her crotch with her eyes, saying, “Well, you can wait but I can’t. I want you to eat me, now.”

Tony smirked and hissed, “Oh yeah… you’re my kind of girl.”
