Ronald brought Noelle inside. "Mr. Parker, this is Ms. Shaw. She's here for the interview!" Ronald introduced Noelle, gesturing toward her.

Noelle met Brian's gaze and gave a slight nod. "Hello, Mr. Parker. I'm Noelle."

Noelle's demeanor was very composed and confident, showing no signs of nervousness.

Brian's gaze lingered on Noelle only briefly before turning to Ronald.

Ronald immediately understood. "I have matters to attend upstairs. I'll leave the interview to you, Mr. Parker."

After Ronald left, Brian took a proper look at Noelle, and then motioned for her to sit.

Brian pulled out her resume from the drawer. This resume had been given to him by Ronald just the previous night, mentioning it was for someone he recommended. Known for his impartiality, Brian would not grant favors lightly.

Though Brian had not known Ronald for long, he had a good sense of Ronald's character. Being Charles' right-hand man indicated Ronald's competence and integrity.

Initially, Brian was not particularly interested in meeting Noelle, but Ronald's insistence that he would regret not seeing her piqued his curiosity.

Brian reviewed Noelle's resume. It was not particularly impressive, and her work experience was rather unremarkable. However, the fact that she had managed a significant project caught his interest, suggesting she had some capability.

While Brian assessed Noelle, she maintained her composure, showing neither arrogance nor timidity.

This impressed Brian. "Ms. Noelle Shaw?"

"Yes. Noelle," Noelle confirmed with a nod.

Brian nodded as well, closing her resume. "I've reviewed your resume, Ms. Shaw. To be honest, your work experience is fairly ordinary. However, I'm curious about a particular project you handled. Can you tell me more about it?"

Meanwhile, Ronald went straight to Charles' office after leaving the project department. "Mr. Hoffman, I've brought Mrs. Hoffman over. Brian should be interviewing her right now. What do you think?"

Charles glanced at Ronald but

continued working. He finally

paused. Furrowing his brows

slightly, he put down his pen. "Yout

Now,

don't need to worry about her. about this document-explain why Frotconn's orders increased

suddenly last month. Whose idea was that?"

"That..... was Sir Hoffman's idea!" Ronald admitted, feeling slightly embarrassed. "Joseph approached Sir Hoffman about it. I only found out about it recently. Sir Hoffman

must have kept it from us."

Charles laughed coldly, closing the file. "It seems Joseph doesn't take me seriously."

He stood up abruptly. "Get Cody here."

"Mr. Hoffman, what do you need Cody for?" Ronald asked, puzzled by Charles' intentions.

A sharp look from Charles silenced Ronald's questions, and he quickly responded, "I'll call Cody immediately."

Meanwhile, Cody received Ronald's call with curiosity, recalling Charles' previous promise to spare Adams Corp.

He wondered why he was suddenly summoned.

Coincidentally, Cody was home resting and saw Annie coming downstairs. He called out to her, "Mom said you met Noelle yesterday?" Annie's heart skipped a beat. "Yes. Is there a problem?"

"I told you not to provoke her," Cody said, pinching the bridge of his nose. "Did you ignore my warning?"
