The reason why Nicole was so influential in the entertainment industry was that she had once single-handedly promoted Fabian and Harvey to stardom. Thus, many of them were jealous.

When they turned the corner, Nicole saw Julie sitting at the studio, watching the filming process seriously.

Julie waved when she saw Nicole walking over.

Nicole did not want to show up in front of so many people, but since she was already there, she could not just leave.

The director kept yelling "cut" and reprimanded the second female who screwed up several times.

"You can't even cry or smile! Why the hell is your face so stiff?! Are you trying to scare people to death? I really don't know why the investors had to stuff you in here. You even dare to come and film during your plastic surgery recovery period. Do you want to hold everyone back?"

The second female lead stood there with red eyes as the surrounding staff went over to fix her makeup.

They were no longer surprised at such scenes.

They could handle it well enough.

However, as soon as they turned their backs, the second female lead who was reprimanded started to lose her temper and throw things around.

Nicole saw that scene and secretly thought to herself, 'Wow, there's so much drama on the set!'

How could such a thing happen at the office?

Nicole could not bear to rebuke the staff who worked so hard for her.

The director and many actors noticed Nicole.

The director smiled and nodded. "Ms. Stanton, did you come to visit the set?"

Nicole smiled. "Yeah, apologies for intruding."

The director waved his hand. "You're not intruding! Let's take a half-hour break!"

Julie also followed and walked over.

The weather was fine with a cool breeze. It was a little hot in May, but it was still bearable.

Julie came over with an umbrella and smiled.

"Thank you, Joseph."

"You're welcome, Ms. Nixon."

Joseph smiled and lifted his chin, indicating that it was just a small matter.

Nicole glanced at the studio.

I'm not affecting your work, right?"

Julie clicked her tongue. "No, I'm not important here. I just came to see if this show that I invested in will lose money?"

The corner of her mouth curled up. "You invested in this?"

"Of course. Otherwise, why would I be suffering here?"

Nicole recalled the scene earlier

Julie put her hair around her ear. She smiled casually as they walked down the promenade. The classical architecture around them was very enchanting.

"Change her out? Her backer dumped in a huge capital just to stuff her in. Why wouldn't I earn what I can?"

Nicole gave her a look. "You're thinking of finally getting rid of her footage?"

She could not think of a better reason otherwise.

Judging by how angry the director was, the second female lead's acting skills must be unbearable.

Even if they broadcasted her scenes, the film would probably get a lot of bad reviews.

By then, it would be difficult to gain back their capital.

Julie pinched her arm and smiled playfully.

"Why are you so smart? Anyway, when her backer signed with us, he didn't specify how many scenes she had to be in. We'll just film everything. We don't have to use it when the time comes!" Nicole laughed a little and shook his head.

Standing here, she could see the lush green field. A strong fragrance of flowers wafted over with the breeze.

It was extremely fragrant.

Julie nudged Nicole's elbow.

"You met Joseph, right? What do you think?"

Nicole frowned slightly and told Julie about her first impression of Joseph.

"I don't have much of an impression of him. He's quite humble and seems to have a good personality."
