The Deserted Rich Beauty (Nicole and eric)
Chapter 1926 Not Even Hate

Julian's face was filled with disgust when he mentioned Kirsi's mother.

"That's why I showed my hand and didn't conceal your existence. Thank God, your mother died early. If others hadn't already known about you, do you think I'd still bring you back? I never even bothered to check whether you were my daughter because I simply didn't care. To me, Lumi is my only daughter. We raised you the same way we'd raised an orphan to be Lumi's companion. You shouldn't exist in the first place. If you hadn't shown up, all of this wouldn't have happened at all!"

Julian's face was extremely glum. He had no qualms about pouring out all those things he kept hidden in his heart for so many years.

He knew that this would harm an innocent child, but the damage this did to their family was heavy enough.

What did he do wrong?

His love for Mia was forever tainted and could never be washed away.

Kirsi stood there in a daze, holding the handrail so tightly until her fingertips turned white. Her palms were trembling and sweaty.

She knew that she was a very odd presence in this family, but she did not expect that she was such an unwelcomed child.

Kirsi did not like Mia because Mia favored Lumi.

She also disliked Lumi because Lumi could easily get all their love.

Kirsi always thought that Julian did not dare to blatantly favor her for the sake of his family, but at least in Julian's heart, they were both his daughters, so they should be the same, right?

Now, it seems that to Julian, her existence was redundant.

After some thought, Kirsi realized that Julian was never nice to her.

He left the house early and returned late every day, and when he came back, he would always check Lumi's homework.

Since Kirsi would always get full marks on her homework, Julian would just nod every time.

Since young, Lumi was a proud young lady who had a natural glow about her. Every time, Kirsi would seem dim in comparison. Lumi's grades were horrible, and she was always naughty and disruptive, but who actually cares about grades in a wealthy family?

From the moment Lumi was born, she had already won without effort.

Kirsi was envious of Lumi.

However, Lumi was unreservedly nice to Kirsi.

Lumi was so nice that Kirsi felt vile :g!: RNR? shameless for being jealous of her sister.

Kirsi's face was miserably pale as she took a deep breath.

Julian's words were so heavy that Kirsi could barely lift her head.

She felt like a sinner.

Mia stood there. Although she did not say a word, everyone could feel her anger.

However, at this time, no one would ever stand up for her or defend her again.

Oh, Lumi.

Kirsi paused and straightened her body.

She suddenly laughed.

Her voice also became dry and hoarse.

"I know. After so many years, I finally realize that I'm not qualified to hate anyone."

Julian and Mia did not make a sound.

The entire house fell into a dead silence.

Kirsi took a deep breath, looked at Mia, and spoke.

"I know that you guys won't want her to give up the marriage alliance with the Lindstrom family so easily. I'll persuade her. I just want to make it clear that I have nothing to do with Samuel." Mia obviously did not believe Kirsi.

Kirsi smiled and said, "I swear that this is the last time I'll step foot into this house. From today onward, I'm no longer a member of the Makinen family."

Mia looked at Kirsi.

Eventually, Mia stepped aside.

Kirsi walked up in silence and found the way to Lumi's room with ease.

She pushed the door in without knocking.
