The Deserted Rich Beauty (Nicole and eric)
Chapter 1930 I Don't Like Him That Much

Julian's words rang in Lumi's ears.

The light breeze outside rustled the treetops, but the temperature and humidity inside were just right.

Lumi said in a low voice, "Dad, I just can't get over it because that person is Kirsi. I won't be able to get over it no matter how long it takes."

She told the truth.

Julian sighed. "She won't affect your life, and you shouldn't feel like you're the one who broke them up. If it wasn't for your marriage, there would've been another woman. The Lindstrom family wouldn't allow their son to marry an illegitimate daughter from out of nowhere. It's all my fault. I shouldn't have brought her back in the first place."

Lumi bowed her head in silence, and her eyes instantly reddened.

She never disliked Kirsi just because they did not share the same mother.

Lumi had done everything she could as a sister, but why did Kirsi want to hurt her so much?

She closed her eyes and listened as Julian tried to negotiate with her.

"Lumi, how about this? We can be angry, but we can't just take divorce lightly.

Samuel came to explain and apologize. His parents are also on their way over. The Lindstrom family's attitude is very apologetic. Marriage is very important, so don't regret your choices because of a moment of anger. Besides, don't you like

Samuel?'

When Lumi and Samuel first met each other, Lumi was also satisfied with Samuel.

After the wedding, although they were not very affectionate, Lumi still spoke about her fondness for Samuel.

Thus, they all thought that their marriage was not bad or hopeless.

If they get a divorce because of a fit of anger, what will happen to them in the future?

Lumi opened her eyes. She was silent for a long time before she spoke indifferently.

"Dad, I don't like him that much."

Julian looked at her for a long time before speaking.

'Are you sure you won't regret it?" Lumi said, "I won't regret it. Compared to a lifetime of nausea, I'd rather give up. Once I lose money on a project, I won't continue to invest in it. You all might say that I have no patience >c-?TNW= vision, but that's just how I am. Dad, I won't regret it."

Julian reached out to touch her hair and sighed.

"Okay, I'll go and persuade your mother."

He stood up and walked out.

Just when he was about to walk out, Lumi spoke softly.

"Thank you, Dad."

Lumi could feel her parents' bias toward her, and she noticed their coldness toward Kirsi.

However, she tried her best to make up for it. Who could be blamed if that was still not enough?

Once the Lindstroms arrived with Samuel, they had their luggage sent to the hotel and went to the Makinen's Residence first.

Thus, the Makinen's Residence was quite lively.

Although Mia did not like the fact that Samuel hurt Lumi, at least his family's attitude was faultless.

The Lindstroms did not say anything to defend Samuel and only apologized.

No matter how Mia scolded Samuel, the Lindstroms did not retort.

As soon as Samuel went into the house, he saw no one else besides the maids and his parents-in-law. Samuel's parents were also businessmen. They had already informed the Makinens prior to their arrival. The fact that the Makinen family did not reject them meant that there was still hope for this marriage. Julian was considerate in every way, but Mia could not bring herself to smile.

The Lindstrom parents exchanged a few pleasantries with Julian before getting to the main topic.

"This bastard Samuel hasn't done anything serious in the past few years. After he's married, his unflattering relationship history still got dug up. I was just saying what can't be dealt with in advance? He was too young back then and not smart enough to handle things. That's why some people took advantage of the situation."
