The Deserted Rich Beauty (Nicole and eric)
Chapter 1955 Send Her to My Room

When lan heard Nicole's words, he said angrily, "I'm also a righteous man, but you didn't pick me!"

Nicole clicked her tongue and frowned.

"Carter, I take you as my best friend, so don't push it!"

lan chuckled. "Forget it. I'm just trying to scare you."

Nicole looked at him. Her tone was soft and solemn.

"You'll replace your true love because you're the best there is, lan."

lan's eyes flickered. He smiled.

He suddenly let go of all those pent-up emotions that he could not let go of in the past.

It was like his obsession had come to an end.

Nicole said he was the best there is.

The best.

That was enough for him.

"That's right! You're the blind one for not falling for me!"

lan's arrogant tone made Nicole laugh.

"Yes, yes... I'm blind."

As soon as he finished speaking, lan's phone suddenly rang.

He glanced at it and saw that it was from Lumi.

Nicole also saw the caller ID and raised her eyebrows, looking like she was watching the drama unfold.

lan settled his heart and answered the call calmly as if nothing had happened.

"Hello?"

"Mr. Carter, did you lose your wallet? A dark blue mermaid wallet?"

lan touched his pocket and was surprised.

He really did lose his wallet.

lan coughed, "Yeah, I..."

"You can come here if you're free. If not, I can courier it to you."

Lumi said casually, "I'll put it at the front desk first. Bye!"

After speaking, she hung up.

It seemed like she was avoiding him.

lan paused and looked at Nicole.

'I'll get going first.

Nicole nodded. "Go quickly! Don't miss out on such a good relationship!"

lan's face turned red when he heard this.

He paused in his footsteps and looked at her angrily.

"Nonsense!"

Then, he turned around and ran away.

Nicole was speechless.

Ten minutes passed.

She looked at the time.

There were still about eight minutes until the appointed time. Nicole hated being late.

If the partner did not show up, she would leave immediately.

With that in mind, Nicole picked up the golf club and tried it out.

She swung the club in a smooth and agile motion.

Unfortunately, the golf ball did not go into the hole.

In the next second, Nicole heard someone clapping from behind

Nicole wondered if the business partner was trying to flatter her.

As a result, when she looked back, she saw four men st;f!

None of them was the business partner that she expected to see.

The tall and big Eric Ferguson stood out from the group. He looked at her with dark eyes and frowned slightly.

His expression was stern, aloof, and indifferent.

The man beside him was a little shorter. His facial features seemed to have some Southeast Asian characteristics, but his eagle-like eyes were staring at her grimly. Nicole was uncomfortable.

She put away the golf club and intended to leave.

As a result, the man beside Eric stepped forward to stop her with a smile on his face. However, his eagle-like eyes were lewd and greedy.

It made her feel very uncomfortable.

He looked at Nicole's stunning face and could not bear to look away for a moment.

"Miss, do you know how to play golf? Do you want me to teach you?"

The man was about to touch Nicole's hand as he said that.

Nicole dodged back. Her face was extremely cold.

She regretted not bringing her bodyguard. She also regretted letting lan leave before the business partner arrived. Nicole took a step back and looked at him warily. She stood coldly and said, "No, this is my place. Please leave." "The staff member brought us here. They might have been mistaken, but this is fate!'

His lecherous look was disgusting.

Nicole held the golf club and propped it on his shoulder that was approaching her. She exerted a little force.

"I said, no need. Get out."

The man's face darkened, and there was anger in his eyes.

"You have quite the temper, huh? Do you know who I am?!"

Nicole turned her head away, obviously not wanting to pay attention to him.

It had been a long time since she saw such a disgusting man.

She glanced at Eric out of the corner of her eye.

He stood there, motionless. His stern face was a little pale, and he looked like a popsicle.

Those who could be near Eric were definitely not ordinary people.

Nicole suddenly recalled what she saw on the beach that day.

It was a pity that she forgot what that person looked like.

Perhaps this man in front of her was among them.

Could he be related to the murderer who killed Old Master Ferguson?

Was he related to Caleb from Southeast Asia?

As Nicole was pondering these questions, the man recklessly wanted to touch Nicole's arm.

Eric finally could not stand it any longer and spoke from behind. His voice was as cold as ever.

"Let's start. We shouldn't waste time. When the game is over, I'll get a few more women to accompany you."

Nicole was stunned for a moment.

It seemed that Eric did not want to reveal her identity. Was he planning to pretend that he did not know her? That was good, too.

Nicole looked away, took her personal belongings, and was about to leave.

However, the man was reluctant.

"This chick is good-looking and has a hot body. Ask her how much she wants to play a game with me."

Nicole's face turned red with anger.

Eric's gloomy face was solemn, and his gaze was stern.

Just as he was about to say something, Nicole snorted lightly.

"Okay. Go and pick up the ball that I just hit earlier. Then I'll play with you."

The man's eyes lit up

What wouldn't he do as long as this beauty agrees to spend time with him?

The man quickly ran to fetch the golf ball.

Eric took a step forward. His eyes were staring in the direction of the man, and his voice was hoarse and deep as he said," Leave now. Don't provoke him."

Nicole paused. She got into position and was ready to take a swing.

Eric narrowed his eyes and was about to stop her, but Nicole had already swung the golf club.

The golf ball hit the man's head firmly and accurately.

He immediately screamed and lay on the ground.

Nicole sneered.

"Here I thought that he was some sort of bigshot."

Eric frowned coldly. He gritted his teeth and said, "Hurry up and leave! He'll kill you!"

Just as Nicole was about to say something, the two bodyguards behind him ran over to the man.

Their strides were large, and she saw a hard object strapped to their belt.

In an instant, her face turned pale.

They had guns!

The two bodyguards carried the man and ran over while the man covered one eye and screamed in pain.

When he passed by Nicole, he stared at Nicole gloomily and resentfully. His face was twisted from the pain, and his voice was cold and cruel.

Send this woman to my room tonight. I'll train her to be my dog!"

Eric waved his hand in silence, signaling the bodyguard to send that man to the hospital.

Nicole also felt a chill when she heard those words.

That man was not simple, but Eric's relationship with him was not hostile.

The air was cold and quiet.

Eric's eyes were dark as he glanced at Nicole.

"What do you think about the project?"

Nicole raised her eyes. "I didn't think about it."

"I won't hurt you."

"I don't believe you."

There was no reason for her to trust Eric without reservation.

Had she not suffered enough because of him?
