The Deserted Rich Beauty (Nicole and eric) -
Chapter 1964 Let Them Go
Falcon thought that Clayton was hiding, so he ordered his people to look for Clayton.
Now, Clayton showed up and had even investigated the matter.
It turned out that the culprit was Tyler, who wanted to cooperate with him.
Although Falcon liked money and power, he would not take his brothers' death lightly.
He would not sit idly by.
Clayton did not care what Falcon wanted to do.
If it was not for Nicole, Clayton would not even bother about this matter.
However, since Nicole was involved, Clayton would not let that person get away with it no matter what.
Nicole paused. She suddenly remembered something and turned around.
"The two Ferguson women are innocent. Can you please let them go?"
Although Ingrid was head over heels in love with Tyler, Quinn did not seem willing to stay here.
If Ingrid and Quinn could leave, Eric might not be put in such a passive position.
Nicole did not have any feelings for them. She just thought that they were two innocent lives, so she had no choice but to mention it. Besides, Nicole no longer liked Eric.
However, they knew each other for so many years, so Nicole did not wish to see
Eric losing his relatives.
Falcon chuckled. "Mrs. Sloan, you must be joking! I'm not holding them hostage. They just don't want to leave."
Nicole frowned and wanted to say something, but when she thought of Ingrid's stupidity, she figured that Falcon was not lying.
She pursed her lips and saw that Falcon was not an unreasonable person.
So, Ingrid and Quinn were probably not in danger in his hands.
Clayton carried Nicole into the car.
He brought a lot of people with him. Nicole had never seen or had the opportunity to meet these people.
Once the car engine started, Nicole could hear a shrill scream from behind.
Falcon did not seem compassionate,
Nicole's heart trembled. Clayton gently hugged her shoulders, slowly tightened his embrace, and gently patted her back.
"You're alright, baby. Everything's alright now."
After a while, the scream was completely inaudible.
Clayton began to slowly untie the black cloth over Nicole's eyes.
When Nicole saw the light, she frowned slightly because she was uncomfortable.
However, she got used to it quickly.
In the next second, Nicole immediately turned back ?b+>QNX: hugged Clayton.
The two of them hugged each other tightly and did not speak, but they both understood that this was a close call.
This shock was enough to make them tremble with fear.
"Baby, I'm so glad that you're alright.
Otherwise, I really don't know what I'd do..."
If Falcon betrayed his brothers and really colluded with Tyler just to set Clayton up, Clayton would have no choice but to fall into the trap.
Clayton would rather die than let anything happen to Nicole.
To Clayton, nothing in this world was more important than Nicole.
Clayton made the right bet that Falcon cared more about his brothers.
Nicole felt Clayton's tense and stiff body gradually relaxing.
She hugged Clayton and said in a low voice, "I heard a lot of things about you in Mediania. When you didn't answer my calls, I came to look for you because I was really worried. I didn't expect to encounter such big trouble..."
Although it had only been a day, it felt like a long, long time.
It was an emotional roller coaster ride.
Clayton gently kissed Nicole's hair.
"It's all my fault. I should've resolved this sooner, and I shouldn't have left such a hidden danger alone."
His tone was cold.
Nicole suddenly remembered something. * Oh right, Grant called me many times. He asked me to go home as soon as possible."
Clayton frowned. "You sneaked out to come over?!"
Nicole opened her mouth, not knowing what to say.
Clayton immediately understood what happened and felt even more heartbroken.
Although he hoped that Nicole loved him more every day, he also hoped that she did not love him so much as to put herself in danger.
That way, she would not foolishly run into such a dangerous trap.
Clayton's heart was tangled and complicated. His words were stuck in his throat, and he could not say anything.
The person next to the driver handed over Nicole's phone.
"Mr. Sloan, Falcon's people gave this to me."
Clayton glanced at it and handed it to Nicole.
As soon as Nicole turned on her phone, she saw the many missed calls.
This time, she also saw missed calls from Clayton.
Nicole blinked and looked at him.
"You must tell me where you're going in the future. Otherwise, I'll be anxious if I can't replace you, especially when you don't answer the phone!"
Clayton paused. His eyes were overflowing with tenderness.
"Okay. It's my fault. I thought that if I didn't tell you anything, you wouldn't have to worry. If not telling you made you worry more, then I'd tell you everything."
Nicole smiled and nodded.
It was not easy for them to get to where they are today.
Clayton was not perfect, but Nicole could not replace another person who could bring her more warmth.
Every time Nicole turned around, Clayton would be there.
If he suddenly disappeared, she would panic.
They were attracted to each other and got closer by the day.
Nicole lowered her head. At that time, her phone vibrated.
It was Grant.
Nicole paused for a while and picked up the call with a straight face.
"Hello? Nicole? Is that you?"
Grant's impatient voice was hoarse.
He sounded extremely anxious.
Nicole was guilty. When she was locked up, she regretted not listening to Grant.
Sure enough, she got into big trouble.
Nicole paused. "Big Brother, it's me. I'm fine."
"Why didn't you answer the phone?"
Grant reprimanded her. "The person I sent to pick you up didn't see you and waited for you all night. Where did you go?"
"Big Brother, don't worry. I found Clayton, and he's with me now."
Nicole did not want to talk about the past day, so she handed the phone to Clayton.
Clayton raised his eyebrows and took the phone over with great pressure.
After all, Clayton did not dare to lie, especially under pressure from his eldest brother-in-law.
Grant could see through it at a glance.
It was too easy to investigate what happened.
"Big Brother, Nicole's fine. We'll come home immediately."
Grant said something else, and Clayton responded with a solemn expression before he hung up.
Nicole turned her head to the side and looked at Clayton.
"What's the matter? Are we going back to Mediania now?"
Clayton stroked her hair and smiled.
"Yeah. It's better to go home as soon as possible. Tyler doesn't have much influence in Mediania, so he'll restrain himself. It's too dangerous to stay here.' Nicole did not want to stay either, so she agreed.
As a result, Nicole only found out that there were no commercial flights available when they got on the plane.
They took Clayton's private jet, which was luxurious, low-key, and well-equipped.
No wonder Clayton came back from South Africa so quickly.
Nicole sat down and breathed a sigh of relief when they were in the air.
The butler came over with two cups of coffee. Nicole glanced at it and shook her head.
Clayton touched her face. She looked very tired and a little pale.
So, he was heartbroken.
Please get her a glass of warm milk."
The butler nodded and went to the back to get a glass of milk.
Nicole was not in the mood, so she closed her eyes for a while.
Clayton sat next to her and covered her with a blanket. He stared at her face intently like he was looking at a lost treasure.
The assistant walked over quietly and patted Clayton.
To avoid disturbing Nicole, the two of them went to the other side to talk.
"Mr. Sloan, Mr. Ferguson seems to know that something happened to Ms. Stanton, and his people came to us..."
Clayton frowned. His eyes darkened as he looked at the vast sea of clouds outside.
"Tell him that his mother and sister are with Falcon when we get off the plane."
