Once everyone had left, the security guards at the door allowed Jennifer to pass.

Treyton immediately came out to meet her. “Why did you come over?”

“It’s rare for me to have a day off. Since I was worried about you, I wanted to come and check on you,”replied Jennifer meekly, her head lowered.

Treyton stroked her head. Remembering what Craig said earlier, he asked, “Have you met Craigbefore?”

“No, I don’t know him at all. He speaks so frivolous! That’s really annoying.” criticized Jennifer firmly.

Upon hearing that she disliked Craig, Treyton heaved a sigh of relief. He held her hands and rubbedthem to warm them up. “Are you cold?”

Jennifer smiled contentedly and shook her head.

“Ahem!” Kieran placed his fist under his mouth. With a cold look in his eyes, he reminded them, “Ifyou’re going act all lovey-dovey in public, go somewhere else.”

Only then did realization dawn upon Treyton as he raised his head and looked at the empty balcony onthe third floor.

Cedrick had already returned to his bedroom and closed the windows.

Treyton thought about it for a moment, realizing that he would have to take Cedrick to the hospital forsurgery later.

Since Kieran was going to lead the surgery, Treyton would have to deal with all the other trivial mattersalone. He was indeed rather overwhelmed.
