Inside the bar, the DJ was blasting music so loud that it made Whitney’s heart thump along with thebeats.

The atmosphere was voluptuous.

Whitney didn’t particularly enjoy that kind of environment, but she followed the manager closely andheaded inside.

The manager said, “Everyone calls me Leo. You can call me that too.”

Whitney shrugged her shoulders, clasped her hands together, and politely greeted, “Hello, Leo.”

“Well, actually, we don’t really need anyone here, but since Ms. Cloud is a VIP customer here and sherecommended you, I’ll have to let you in no matter what.”

With the booming music playing in the background, Whitney felt slightly awkward.

She gave a slight bow. “Thank you, Leo.”

As Leo led the way, he occasionally glanced at her figure and appearance. “Your face looks quiteinnocent, like a foreign doll with exotic charm. You will be popular among the clients. However, youroutfit is too ugly.”

Whitney lowered her head and looked at her attire. She was wearing jeans paired with a white t-shirt,which was clean and simple. It seemed fine enough to her.

However, when she looked at the pretty ladies around her, she noticed that they were all wearing eithermini-skirts or shorts with high heels and black stockings. They were all in low V-necks or outfits thatexposed their shoulder and backs.

Each of them was graceful, alluring, and charming.

Whitney realized that her outfit made her look like an inexperienced newcomer in the realm ofenchantresses. “If there’s no hurry, can I go back and change?”

Jessamyn had specifically informed Leo that Whitney would be coming. There was no way he would lether leave easily.

“No need for that. Just stick with this outfit. Perhaps some of the clients here are tired of the dazzlingand eye-catching ladies, and they prefer the elegance and purity that you display. Who can say forsure?”

Whitney found his words rather odd but didn’t think too much about it. “Thank you then, Leo.”

With a cigarette dangling from his mouth, Leo smiled lightly. “You’re welcome.”

After walking through a corridor, Leo led her up the stairs until they reached the door of a luxuriousprivate room in the innermost part of the hallway.

Along the way, Leo instructed her on what to do later.

“Remember, put the customers’ needs first. Your task is to ensure they have a great time. Singing,dancing, drinking, and playing dice, whatever you can do, make the customers happy. The tips theygive in the private room, regardless of the amount, are all yours. Your shift ends at two in the morning,and by then, you’ll receive your basic pay for this temporary job.”

“Okay.” Whitney nodded. It sounded just like how Jessamyn had described. It was normal, and thereshouldn’t be any issues.

She could sing and dance, and her alcohol tolerance was not bad. As for the dice game, she couldlearn how to play it afterward.

Holding onto the door handle, Leo reminded Whitney again before opening the door, “Remember, youcame here voluntarily. If you can’t fulfill the tasks and offend the big shots in the private room, youractions have nothing to do with Seduction Bar. Anyway, just do as they say, understood?”

Whitney nodded. “Understood.”

As the soundproof door to the private room opened slowly, intense and lively DJ music could be heard.

The private room was dimly lit, with occasional spotlights flashing. Whitney glanced from afar and sawabout five or six people sitting on the sofa.

As the strong smell of alcohol filled her nose, she could hear the constant banter in the room.

Whitney hesitated at the door and didn’t go in.

After waiting for a while, Leo was afraid she would change her mind, so he pushed her from behind andsent her into the private room. Then, he closed the door behind her quickly.

“If you’re going to hesitate, then don’t come. What’s with the pretense?” he muttered unhappily as hewalked to a quieter spot to call Jessamyn and report to her.

“Ms. Cloud, it’s all taken care of. The person has been sent in.”

“Well done.”

According to the prearranged agreement, Jessamyn quickly transferred money to Leo. Then, shecalled Charles.

However, she heard the familiar and gentle customer service voice, which notified her that Charles wasbusy and couldn’t answer the call.

Jessamyn became furious.
