Even as the Turnbulls could only watch as two members of the Martial Alliance strode up and dragged Walter away, Susan started to chase after them, shouting, "Walter!!!" Glen stopped her, his expression exasperated and his words less than convincing, "I know it hurts, Susan... But you have to be strong. We will replace evidence soon enough..." What the rest of the Turnbull did not notice, however, was Frank hurrying outside, shouting, "Silverbell!"

Silverbell stopped in her tracks and smiled stiffly as she slowly turned around.

She really did not want to see Frank in this situation, since it undoubtedly made her look cool. She certainly did not want to leave a bad impression after being apart for so long. "Frank... Lawrence. Is there something else?"

"He's been set up, and there's no doubt about that." Frank pointed at Walter, his tone stern. "A nerve agent was used on him, and he couldn't control himself-no, he doesn't even know what he did yesterday." Silverbell frowned, her expression awkward. "You know that's just your one-sided testimony..."

She had to be fair as the chief of the Martial Alliance and show no personal bias.

Frank paused in turn, glancing at Walter, and said with a determined tone, "I'm not giving you trouble, Silverbell. Give me two days, and I will replace the evidence to prove Walter's innocence. In that time, you must not hurt Walter at all. Can you do that?"

Silverbell scowled despite his solemn gaze and shook her head. "I can't..."

"Even if you can't!" Frank strode up, his presence murderous.

"What do you think you're doing?!"

"What, are you declaring war on us?!"

"Insolence!"

The members of the Martial Alliance all drew their weapons, bringing them to bear at Frank.

"Frank..." Walter was stunned but soon sighed. "You don't have to worry—"

"Shut up!" Frank bellowed at him and strode toward Silverbell, slowly cornering her against the wall. "Say yes, or I will fight the Martial Alliance right here and now, and none of you will leave alive!"

His raspy rant left Silverbell shocked, and she turned, frowning. "Who is he? Why do you have to go so far to protect him?!"

"Don't bother! What's your answer-yes or no?!"

Silverbell's lips parted repeatedly, but she ultimately could not say no and gave in. "Alright, you have two days... But if you can't present any new evidence by then, I'll have to hand him over to the mayor of Morhen."

"No, Lady Silverbell!"

The other members of the Martial Alliance were left shocked as Silverbell caved.
