Gina was certainly worried that Frank would change his mind, and all her fawning smile and cajoling over the past half hour would end up pointless.

However, she was obviously worried over nothing since Frank really would not care about a mere 500 million dollars.

In fact, he called Trevor Zurich right away, asking him to wire the money to Gina's account and sign his name on the agreement.

Helen was scowling grumpily once he was done, while Gina beamed.

"Oh, Frank," she chirped. "Why don't you stay for the day? I'll treat you and Helen to dinner."

"That's unnecessary," Frank replied quietly, shaking his head. "I'll be surveying the land and see if there's any use for it, so that I won't lose too much money."

Frank's reply was sincere, just as Gina received a notification from the bank.

Gina was hugely relieved to see that and was immediately less enthusiastic than before.

In fact, she was laying down in bed and closing her eyes. "Alright, I won't keep you since you want to survey the land."

Helen was livid as she watched, but Helen pulled her along out of Gina's ward. "It's fine, as long as they don't bother you."

Once they left, Gina subtly opened one eye and clearly looked gleeful.

"Did you get the money, Aunt Gina?" Cindy asked softly.

"Yeah. And not one digit is missing. I'm surprised he's that rich." Gina smiled slyly, holding her phone happily and counting the zeros in her account repeatedly.

"Heh. He's just an idiot and a sucker." Cindy sneered, watching in contempt as Frank strode down the hallway.

After all, he was plain stupid to buy a plot of land with no potential for 500 million!

"Why else would I ask him?" Gina laughed. "I'm sure he'd have nothing left after trying to show off. That's my daughter for you-he paid through his nose just to make her happy! And the cheek to tell me not to go looking for Helen... that cheek of his, when he's some outsider!"

Obviously, Gina was not about to honor her agreement with Frank even if he just paid her 500 million!

Still, she really thought it was game over for a moment, but things quickly changed as she had the luck of having Frank become her sucker, willingly taking the fall for her.

There was certainly light at the end of the tunnel!

"Heh... Thank you so much, Frank!"

Cindy was giggling gleefully too before remembering something and asking Gina, "Wait, didn't we forget to tell him about the state of the land? Hehehe... And he's going there right now. Those thugs are definitely going to show him a good time!"

Gina did a double take, but her grin soon broadened in glee too. "Exactly. Let's just watch him make a fool of himself!"

Frank actually did not hear Cindy and Gina mocking him, since he had already headed downstairs and driven straight to the land lot with Helen.

It was on the fringes of the city and was remote and barren.
