"Hahaha..."

Frank was suddenly laughing out loud after looking around at the place, which left the approached thugs stunned.

"What's wrong?" Helen turned worriedly toward Frank-did he snap mentally because he spent 500 million on a useless plot of land?

As various possibilities came to mind, Helen was left staring as Frank turned to smile at her and winked. "If my hunch is right, your mom really dropped the ball here."

"What?"

Helen's eyes widened in confusion, increasingly worried that Frank had really snapped.

Frank, however, looked pointedly around him at the land. "This plot of land and everything built on it is due for demolition in two weeks. Zamri City Hall is ready to build a highway through this land."

"Do you know what that means?" He grinned at Helen, and finished before she could answer. "The value of this land lot will increase more than tenfold! Hahaha... We've really hit the jackpot here, Helen!" Helen frowned suspiciously at his words. "How would you know? The city hall wouldn't announce something like that ahead of schedule, would they?"

"Eh...?"

Frank's smile turned rigid, and he scratched his head but ultimately came clean. "It's your client from before..."

"Clinet?" Helen was thoughtful for a long while before she exclaimed, "You mean Ms. Clarity?!"

"Uh... yeah," Frank replied awkwardly, worried that Helen would seize the moment to interrogate him about molesting Juno Enigma.

And to no surprise, Helen was scowling, though one of the thugs nearby spoke before she could. "Hey, are you two developers?"

"What?" Frank quickly replied, really grateful that the thug meddled just then, stopping Helen from asking her question.

He hurried to the thug, calmly explaining, "No, we're not... If we have to put a finger on it, I'd say we're just owners who bought this land off someone else." Naturally, he could see that the thugs were suddenly glaring at him coolly, even vaguely showing hostility.

"Hey, kid..."

Terry Cotton-the thugs' leader, who stood towering with a mohawk-cracked his neck audibly in front of Frank. "Don't you know that this is the Blood Wolves' turf?"

"Blood Wolves?"

Frank shook his head. "Nope. Never heard of you either."

"What? Blood Wolves?!"

On the other hand, Helen clearly knew them as she quickly turned pale, shock showing in her eyes.

"Hehe... I think the lady knows. Why don't you ask her?" Terry grinned at Frank, baring his sharp teeth.

Frank shrugged and turned toward Helen. "So? What are the Blood Wolves?"

"They are the biggest gang in Zamri," Helen replied gingerly, clearly afraid. "They have over a thousand men in their ranks, and they have over ten enforcers who are martial artists. That's why they get to strut without a care, and things always end badly for anyone who gets on their wrong side."

Tugging on Frank's sleeve, she cried, "I think we should run, Frank!"

"Are you trying to run? Well, too late!" Terry laughed.

Suddenly, more thugs emerged from the other units in the project.
