It was certainly ironic that Gina had been conned into buying this exact plot of land that Juno Enigma had tipped Frank off on about its increase in value over tenfold. Even if Frank did buy it with 500 million dollars, the value would skyrocket in two months over five billion!

Gina and Cindy were still laughing at Frank for being a sucker, when they were the real suckers here.

If they were to replace out, they really would have a heart attack...

In fact, even Helen was gaping in shock after Frank nonchalantly told her about Juno Enigma's tip.

"For real?"

Frank nodded. "There's no mistaking it."

Just to be sure, he called Will Zeller as Helen watched.

Even if he was a bureaucrat reviewing lease bids, he was involved in Zamri's urban development and would definitely have heard something about it.

While he was puzzled by Frank's question, he said, "I don't know about the projects, Mr. Lawrence... but I do know about plans for a highway, and it definitely passes through that area. There's a huge chance they'd demolish the projects for development."

Hanging up, Frank turned toward a delighted Helen and shrugged.

She was so excited that she could barely speak coherently. "T-That's wonderful! You're even more of a business person than I am... Holy... Ten times the value! If we build a business district or an industrial district... That would mean..."

"Don't celebrate just yet."

Frank said quietly, suddenly raining on Helen's parade. "The news will be announced in a few days. Can you guess how your mother and cousin would react to it?" "My mother?"

Helen froze right then and grimaced as she could already imagine Gina making a scene, demanding Frank to return that plot of land to her. "Urgh..." She sighed in exasperation, shaking her head.

In a way, it was only fair that she had the worst humans alive for family-it was as if she had all the brains her family was supposed to have.

That was only the way this phenomenon made sense.

"Well, what should we do? We're not going to give it back to her, are we?" Helen asked.

Seeing that she was finally on his side, Frank grinned cheerfully and whipped out his phone. "I got the land by chance anyway, and I'm really not worried about the money. I'll call Gina right now-she'll make big bucks if she believes me and takes it back. If she refuses-well, there's nothing I can do."

"Frank..."

Helen certainly knew that Frank was doing it for her sake, or she would look bad when Gina stormed Lanecorp if Frank refused to hand it over. Gina was definitely the type of person to do it, and the employees would start to criticize her.

Considering that, she did not hesitate to jam her sweet, soft lips on Frank's.

Frank froze for a couple of beats, feeling as if he was jolted inside before relishing the tenderness.

He felt buoyed as Helen answered his enthusiasm despite her clear inexperience.

However, the mood died-Frank barely enjoyed himself for seconds when Gina was snorting in contempt on the other end. "What is it, Frank Lawrence?"

Helen and Frank promptly pulled away, with Helen turning away to stare outside the window, blushing over her own boldness.

On the other hand, Frank was cursing his own stupidity-he could have waited before calling Gina!
