Winter obviously had more to say, but she had no choice but to leave the stage.

After her, even as Jean accepted her certificate, she asked under her breath, "Mr. Lawrence, tell me what do you think of Winter?" "Winter?" Frank smiled with aplomb. "She's a little sister whom my mentor entrusted into my care for life."

"Ah, I get it now."

Jean nodded, bowing at Frank before leaving the stage with her certificate.

Frank watched as she left, thinking that she was clearly more mature than her peers.

There was an aftershow after the convocation ceremony, with Noel taking the stage to sing for the crowd.

She was certainly a top star, leaving everyone mesmerized with her song even though her speciality was acting. After she left the stage, a surprising face showed up.

"Hey, Master Lawrence! I passed the entrance exams for Riverton University! Didn't expect that, did you?"

Kat Yego had her silver wig on and was dressed fancily as usual, winking at Frank as she performed with her band on her guitar.

"What?" Frank frowned-Kat consistently got bad grades, and she still made it into Riverton University? Were they that desperate for new students?

Seeing Frank's skeptical look, Noel cleared her throat nearby. "It's a special admission... as an arts student."

"Oh..." Frank nodded.

After that, Kat and her band started a rock tune and howled their hearts out... that was, from Frank's perspective as a person with no understanding of music.

The graduates, however, were thrilled and engrossed, and the hall was soon a concert hall.

"Urgh, what a shame... Why do we have to graduate now? If we weren't, I'd have that rocker chick in a jiffy!"

"No way that's happening, bro."

"Come on, I mean a proper relationship!"

There were other performances, with Winter herself dancing a number.

By the time the events concluded, the skies were dark.

The Riverton bigwigs also bade Frank farewell after jovial small talk and catching up, with Frank escorting them out.

As he left the hall, he found Jean sitting by the steps. "There's a ball too. Aren't you going to attend?"

"Nope. Never liked such occasions." Frank shook his head and sat down too.

In fact, he would not have stayed at all if not for Winter. The time was certainly better spent training, or even unwinding at a bar.

After a moment of silence, Jean said quietly, "I just saw Bill Jackson. He brought a large group and charged straight to the rear entrance of the convocation hall. Didn't look too friendly." "Hmph."

Frank simply snorted coldly. "Doesn't matter how many men he brought."

"Confident, aren't you?" Jean snickered. "Then do you know that Winter is into you, Mr. Lawrence?"

"She's still young." Frank shrugged. "She'll eventually replace someone better."
