"Hmm?"

Frank frowned slightly as he watched Kit quickly take out what looked like a vest from under his desk and put it on.

Blade, the Wolvens' boss, was immediately flustered. "What are you doing, Kit?!"

"What, you ask?"

Kit sneered even as he walked backward toward the curtain wall. "Did you really think this partnership is the real thing, Blade?"

"What?!"

Blade froze, but quickly understood-Kit planned to kill him too!

As things developed, Kit's plan was to work together with Blade to neutralize the Blue Fangs before dealing with Lanecorp, and lastly, Blade himself!

"The Blood Wolves don't need two bosses, get it?" Kit said coolly before turning and laughing at Frank. "I set up this trap for him, but since you're here anyway, you can all die with him!" And with that, he jumped, crashing through the curtain wall and out of Zomber Tower.

The forty-story building stood over 200 meters, but Kit had also arranged for a special material on the curtain wall of his office so that he could easily break it without getting hurt. "Get back here, you bastard!"

Blade leapt toward Kit and tried to catch him, but Kit had already jumped off beyond his reach.

"Hahaha! You can all huddle up and die, so that you'd at least have company!" Kit laughed, opening his parachute and slowly floating away.

At Kit's voice, a timer appeared on his desktop computer, with the red numbers counting down from a minute.

Frank glanced at it and understood in just a second.

Kit escaped with one of the most ridiculous methods because he was going to blow up the entire building, killing him and Blade.

The man was certainly cunning enough to give Frank the creeps, though it also made Frank even more determined to kill him. After all, if Kit were to replace out that Frank somehow survived, he would come for revenge.

That would definitely be troublesome, as Frank's whereabouts were always known while Kit lurked in the shadows.

"He's fucking crazy!" Blade bellowed, and rushed towards the door at top speed.

It might be futile, but he wanted to use the one minute he had to flee the building.

No one wants to die, after all.

Frank then turned to see that Peter's face was deathly pale-there was no way he would not know what was happening.

Frank would leave him, but remembering what Peter said in the elevator made him stay.

"Are you afraid to die?" Frank asked.

"Of course I am! Why wouldn't I be?!" Peter yelled, honest for once.

There was no way they could flee the building in one minute, unless they had a parachute too!

"Isn't it too late?!" Peter kept ranting. "We're both going to die here!"
