"Hmph!" Travis snorted coldly.

If he allowed Frank to leave after what he said, that would just prove what Frank said that he was selling his reputation, not treasures.

And having been appraised antiques all his life, he certainly could not take that insult!

Growling hostilely, he demanded, "Your words will ruin the reputation of my establishment sir, and you expect to leave peacefully?" "Really? And your reputation can't be ruined?"

Frank sneered in contempt. "Worshiping counterfeits like it's the real deal, using your reputation for commodities and getting hostile if anyone says otherwise... Shame-your reputation just isn't worth anything to me, nor am I afraid of your aggression."

Travis did a double take-even after all that, Frank was still accusing him of selling counterfeits?!

Feeling a little petty just then, he slowly walked up to Frank and growled solemnly, "I sell real treasures, young man, not my reputation. So you don't have to worry about pointing out how my painting is fake, and I'll burn it if what you said is proven true. How about that?!"

"Good!"

Travis' confident challenge drew shouts of approval-everyone was certainly impressed with his attitude.

After all, it was a part of the business to pass off counterfeits as the real deal. Even if it would never be as valuable as the genuine, they would easily make a few hundred grand with it.

As such, Travis was basically cornering himself by issuing such a challenge to Frank.

"Heh. Forget it..."

Frank did not accept Travis' challenge right away, however, instead waiving him off and laughing. "I'm worried your heart will break."

"Hahaha!" Hugh was laughing once again and clapping. "You're such a wily bastard, Frank! Who do you think Mr. Dali is, some three-year old kid? Everything he has is a treasure worth millions, and you had to try to get everyone's attention by claiming that the painting is a fake. And now that Mr. Dali's asking you to prove it, you're just running around in circles, claiming he only sells reputation."

"Now, Mr. Dali even promised to burn it, and you're saying that he can't bear it? You're just feeling caught! Point out how the painting is fake if you can, or you will kowtow to everyone here ten times and take back your insolent insults!"

"Exactly! Insulting us for not knowing our antiques, and leaving without a care?! Do you really think we'd let that happen?!"

"It's either that, or we'll break every bone in your body before Jade Dragon throws you out!"

"In that case, let me show you a whole new world." Frank chuckled before glancing at Travis pointedly. "However... I'm afraid that Jade Dragon will be closing down soon."

Travis snorted. "Don't worry. I would like to see what profound opinion you hold, even if it sends Jade Dragon out of business!"

Seeing that Travis was dead set, Frank smiled coolly and nodded.

Since the old man was being so stubborn, he just had to teach him a lesson!

Even if Frank was no patron of the arts, he had seen plenty back at Mystic Sky Sect.

Being up close and personal allowed him to scrutinize the details, and he could at least tell if a piece was a fake from just one glance.
