Seeing Ivor's tragic state, Dean certainly did not dare to act tough and kowtowed to Frank as he begged, "I-I'm sorry, Mr. Lawrence! It's all because we listened to that woman's goading... That's why we tried to attack Winter! We didn't want to do this!" Frank narrowed his eyes and asked coolly, "Woman? What woman?"

"She called herself Aria Lond... said she's acquainted with Winter," Dean said, quick to shift blame.

Frank's expression contorted in rage when he heard that name, while anger and disappointment showed in Winter's eyes.

"Hah! So it was Aria... That's why this whole thing felt like it was arranged!" Jean snapped, furious towards her ex-best friend.

"And I thought sparing her life was being magnanimous... Can't do a thing now that she's asking for it," Frank growled sinisterly, scowling.

He naturally knew that Aria held a bitter grudge against him, but he did not think she was so vile that she would lash out at her own friend. Leaving her at large would only cause more problems!

Winter pursed her lips as if reluctant, but before she could say a word, she sighed exasperatedly when she noticed Frank's furious look. Aria had undoubtedly once been her best friend, and everyone had been fair to Aria, but she was so vile that she tried to kill Frank.

At this point, Winter could not come up with any cause to beg Frank-Aria was really asking for it.

Lifting Dean off the floor, Frank bellowed, "Speak! Where is Aria?!"

Surprisingly, it was the dying Ivor who answered from the floor, "S-She's upstairs... Room 904..."

It seemed that Ivor had a bone to pick with Aria too.

He was the son of one of Zamri's Three Bears! If that woman never tricked him into getting involved, he would not be begging on all fours like a dog, humiliated throughout!

As such, he decided that he would make Aria pay too!

Seeing that Ivor understood, Frank nodded, feeling less murderous about the brat.

It seemed that Aria was using him, and she was the one who masterminded this entire gathering.

Frank waved them off at the thought. "Get out of here. Remember-if this ever happens again, I will kill you on the spot!"

Dean, Jarek, and Sunny nodded repeatedly at Frank's bellow.

Would they even dare argue, when a big shot like Ivor was reduced to a cripple?!

They all began to flee, with some even leaping over Ivor as they did.

Seeing that, Ivor bellowed from the floor, "You pricks! Don't just run away on your own! Help me!"

"Oh right, Mr. Bearson."

It was only then that Dean, Jarek, and Sunny quickly turned around, picked up Ivor, and carried him out of the private room. "Argh! Shit, take it slow!" he yelled in pain as someone touched his wrist and foot halfway.

Still, as they finally made it out of the hotel, Dean turned hesitantly toward Ivor. "Mr. Bearson, about what happened..." "What?! Of course I'm fucking him up!"

Ivor cursed through gritted teeth. "He thinks that just because he's a martial artist, he can... Argh! Slow down, goddamn it!"

Then, turning toward his expensive car in the distance, he growled venomously, "I'm a bigwig in Zamri! I will definitely tell my father about this, and he will punish Frank Lawrence for this!" "Yes! Yes! Yes!"

Dean, Jarek, and Sunny were at once delighted.
