After all, Zamri Hospital was one of the best hospitals in the East Coast, and its previous chief, Dennis Jackson, was one of Zamri's Three Bears! They were on a completely different level from Riverton Hospital!

"Are you messing with us, Professor Lawrence?"

Yew snorted skeptically. "Even Ivor Bearson only promised a recommendation letter and not an internship. Do you even have the connections for this?" "Oh, but don't worry I do."

Frank nodded to assure everyone, even smiling and pointing at Winter, "And the next chief of Zamri Hospital is standing right there. She's your friend, after all-would an internship be really a problem?" "What?! The chief of Zamri Hospital?!"

Everyone stared blankly at the equally confused Winter, who could barely speak.

As everyone looked on, she shook her head repeatedly, her hair flowing in waves.

"F-Frank... Me, the chief?" she stammered. "No way! What are you talking about?! I just graduated, and I'm going to become chief? That absolutely won't work. I don't have the skill or the experience!"

Seeing that Winter shook her head as if it was really going to happen, Yew laughed in disdain. "Come on, Professor Lawrence. Don't you think you should at least make your lies believable? I have no argument if Winter is going to be the chief of a hospital, but Zamri Hospital? That's beyond her. If anything, she can be the chief of an asylum!"

"And you can be her first patient," Frank retorted calmly.

The clear insult left Yew seething.

She actually thought that Frank was being serious and was looking forward to an internship.

But Frank also said that Winter would be chief? What a joke!

They were all fools for actually feeling hopeful for a moment!

The other girls were scowling as well, all of them upset at Frank.

"What, don't you believe me?" Frank smiled as he looked around at them.

That certainly went without saying they all doubted him, who turned out to be a jester after all that fuss.

To think that they believed for a moment that Frank was being considerate for the sake of their futures, but only for him to boast about appointing Winter as chief of Zamri Hospital. How laughable!

"What, you really want us to believe you?"

Yew sneered, crossing her legs and folding her arms before her chest. "Do you even know what Zamri Hospital is like? I heard that Gene Pearce owns it, and the chief is Bill Jackson's father. And I saw with my own eyes how you beat up Bill to a pulp. Now you're telling me that you're replacing his father with Winter, while offering us internships there? Do you think we're stupid enough to believe your bullshit?"

Frank simply shrugged at her question, and smiled at the dumbfounded Winter. "Yes, Bill is Dennis Jackson's son, but Dennis is no longer the chief. Since his departure left a vacancy, and after some discussion with Gene Pearce, I recommended Winter to be the next chief."
