"Exactly, Mr. Bearson. You're a genius-don't compare yourself to mooks like us!"

"In a few years, you'll surpass the Demon of Volsung Sect."

"Ya think?"

"And with Mr Bearson leading us, we will claim a place in Morhen and rise as the Fifth Family!"

Even as the Favoni martial artists joked around and flattered Jaden, he snorted, taking off his blindfold and kicking away the sandbags and lead weights on his feet. Still, he was not quite taken by the flattery.

Instead, he looked up towards the sky, determination flaring inside him.

It really seemed that Ehud Lionheart was the only one who could prove a match against him on the East Coast.

However, Volsung Sect had always kept Ehud sheltered no one ever heard from him, let alone saw him.

When they met two years ago, Jaden had been younger and was getting full of himself, as he could not replace any worthy opponents.

As such, Ehud could well be a god amongst men when he showed up, crushing Jaden's ego after they exchanged ten blows.

But even though Ehud topped Skyrank like it was an afterthought back then, Jaden was a changed man now he was no longer the same from two years ago. And now, he yearned to have a rematch against Ehud.

"Jaden!"

Just then, a tearful Chelly ran up to Jaden and threw herself in Jaden's arms, sobbing, "Daddy scolded me!"

"What? Why?" Jaden always doted on his sister, and he frowned when he found her crying.

"You have to hear me out..."

Chelly immediately enthusiastically told Jaden everything, especially about how their sister Stella begged Frank to go easy on Jaden.

After that, their father still scolded Chelly anyway for putting herself in danger by tailing Stella.

Jaden was left staring at Chelly in disbelief before grabbing her shoulders.

"What did you say?!" he demanded coldly, grabbing Chelly's shoulders. "Stella apologized to our enemy, begging him to hold back against me?!"

"Yes!" Chelly exclaimed even as she winced in pain. "You're hurting me, Jaden..."

Jaden realized just then he had grabbed Chelly so hard that he actually left a bruise, even as Chelly continued, "Stella insisted you won't win against him and had to beg so that you won't get killed-" "That bitch!"

Jaden was left incensed by his sister's words.

He had never considered any of his peers his equal, save for Ehud.

In fact, he could actually almost stay content losing to Ehud, since that man was the successor of Volsung Sect.

But Frank Lawrence?! Some brat who appeared out of nowhere?!

Jaden absolutely could not care less!

Even if Stella repeatedly insisted that Frank slaughtered over thirty of their family's martial elites in an instant, he simply presumed that they had fallen for some sort of trap. After all, he came second in Skyrank-if anyone had such power, why did they not challenge him before, or Ehud?

There was only one reason that Frank must have used some dirty move.

Stella was just not able to see it and believed that Frank killed those martial elites.

But tomorrow, Jaden would see through whatever cheap trick Frank was using in their duel!

And Stella would beg Frank for mercy for his sake?!

Hah! Why bother?!
