Stilling his pounding heart, Urian did his best to look calm. "Where did you get this button?"

However, he had no idea that Frank's sharp eye noticed the flicker of panic he showed for a second.

He had a hunch right then that Urian was connected to the saboteurs who attacked Lanecorp's transport trucks.

In fact, he was in the loop and not just a supplier of clothes, or he would not panic like that.

It was just an instant, but Frank could see through Urian.

Bang!

Frank slammed his palm on Urian's desk, projecting an invisible pressure as he leaned close to Urian's pudgy face. "Mr. Reno, I'm asking you a question! Now, tell me did you manufacture this button?!" While Urian flinched from Frank's threat, he gulped.

Still, he came to his senses before he said anything this was not right!

This was Longham Garments, his turf!

And since this place was his turf, why would he allow anyone to threaten him here?!

Even if he was up against Noel, Chet had already said it-Noel did not have any backing now.

What was he even afraid of?

With that in mind, his flustered reaction turned calm, and he glanced at Noel as he growled coolly, "Ms. York, you really should discipline your boy. This is my turf! Is this how you approach me with a request?" Noel frowned a little when she saw that Urian was so calm. "You misunderstand, Mr. Reno. This gentleman isn't my bodyguard, he's-"

Frank turned to wink at Noel. "Actually, Ms. York is exaggerating-I am Ms. York's bodyguard at this moment."

It was clear that Urian knew something, and it was best not to reveal themselves at the moment the priority was to probe him.

Noel was certainly sharp too and nodded at Frank's cue. "Alright, let's put aside the issue of bodyguards-what I'd like to ask, Mr. Reno, is whether your factory produced this button."

Urian, however, was wary now that he saw that neither Frank nor Noel were there to talk business.

"No." He denied it bluntly.

Who were they kidding? If he had no brains, how would he have survived in this business for years?

He could tell right away that the pair did not have simple intentions, not to mention that they had produced evidence of a very delicate issue.

Even if Urian had no idea where they got the button, telling them that he knew would be admitting that he was an accomplice when Lanecorp found the saboteurs.

He was just paid to make those suits-he was not about to take the blame.

However, while Urian was musing to himself, Noel caught a cue from Frank and sighed softly, flashing a look of disappointment. "Oh, it's not from here?" "Eh?"

Urian was puzzled to see Noel disappointed.

"Hehe. You see, I met this gentleman just today..."

Noel winked as she put to use her acting skills, pursing her lips in dismay. "I found this button dropped from his suit sleeve, and I like it a lot since it's very unique. I traced it all the way here, intending to have this button used for the costumes of my next production. What a shame..."
