"What the hell is going on here?!" Urian cried miserably.

He was just the owner of a modest clothing factory. Though he had some connections, one could quickly tell that he was a nobody. After all, what could a business named Longham Garments amount to? All the money he made was just enough to feed his men.

First, it was Chet Jonas and the Lionhearts, coercing him into making over a dozen uniforms within days to keep their martial elites incognito.

He yielded, giving in to both profit and threat as he made those uniforms... only for Chet to come in the next day to brag about his achievement, that his group had destroyed over two billion dollars worth of Lanecorp equipment! That was two billion dollars they were talking about!

Urian was certainly scared shitless when he found out. After all, if Lanecorp managed to trace it to them, Chet might be able to escape unscathed, while he would be screwed!

And now, Noel was herself visiting with a button he used.

He was panicking further, but because Noel put up an act while tempting him with orders and money, Urian got duped.

Never did it cross his mind that Noel was from Lanecorp, and the man beside her was the head of Lanecorp's health and security department too!

And right now, everyone in the city of Zamri knew about Lanecorp's health and safety department. Despite their name, they were a massive organization consisting of all of Zamri's gangs! Who would ever dare mess with them?! One false move, Urian's modest factory would be razed to the ground!

It was certainly a dilemma for Urian even as the thought crossed his mind, especially now that Noel was threatening him to betray Chet right now.

What should he do-yield to Lanecorp, or keep the Lionhearts' secret?

Choosing was so much more difficult now, and Urian's face turned green.

If he refused to sell out Chet and insisted he knew nothing, Lanecorp would not play nice.

But if he yielded to Lanecorp, would the Lionhearts really just let it slide?

Once Chet returns with his men, they would just-wait!

Urian's eyes lit up at that thought. Why did he not think of that before?

In just a moment, Chet would be back with the Lionheart martial elites!

He had met those Lionheart martial elites himself.

And on the Lanecorp's side was just Frank and a noncombatant in Noel. Would they even stand a chance against Chet's martial elites?!

Moreover, he had over a hundred men right outside his office-even if the head of Lanecorp's health and safety department could grow extra limbs, would he really be able to handle so many martial elites at once?

As Urian quietly did the math, he eventually realized that this was his only way out.

After all, Lanecorp really was not all that threatening compared to the Lionhearts.

Hence, looking between Frank and Noel, Urian composed himself and snapped, "What are you talking about? Mr. Jonas and I haven't done anything! You two, on the other hand, barged into my factory, slandered, and even threatened me. Do you know what you've done?!"

"Mr. Jonas, you say?"

Seeing Urian's sudden change of attitude, Frank certainly knew that Urian had switched sides again.
