Frank was left taken aback but soon appeared delighted that was true! Why did he not think of that?!

He even nodded at the flunkies. "Thanks for the tip. I really didn't think of that!"

The two flunkies traded glances, while the one who gave Frank the idea of taking Tigris hostage could slap himself right then. "S-Stand back!"

"Do you think the warden would show you mercy when you're hurting his brother?!"

Seeing Frank strode up, the two flunkies were still trying to name-drop the warden to intimidate Frank.

They had no idea that Frank was not susceptible, and while they yapped a lot, they quickly cleared a path for Frank.

With that, they watched helplessly as Frank put Tigris on the iron chair and wheeled him further inside the cell.

"Alright-Tigris Fisher is now my hostage," Frank said. "Run along now and tell your warden that I have his brother, and that he shouldn't do anything stupid... or I'll kill my hostage!" Seeing that Frank was absolutely stubborn, the two flunkies had no choice but to turn and leave to inform the warden.

At the same time, Frank whipped out Tigris' phone and wasted no time calling Gene's Pearce.

No one answered, but it was understandable since it was Gene's personal number, and that he would not accept the call from a number he did not recognize.

After thinking about it, Frank called Hans Schnee, but he could not reach him.

"What?"

Frank frowned, surprised that Hans would not answer a call, though he was most likely busy with some operation.

Nonetheless, after struggling with himself for a while, a face came to Frank's mind.

Despite being reluctant to bother her, he had no choice at this point but to call her personal number.

"Who is this?" a cool yet melodious voice spoke from the other end.

"Ahem... Silverbell, it's me."

Frank naturally called Silverbell since she was the chief of the Martial Alliance.

As the official leader of all Draconian martial artists with a direct line to Draconia's president, her assistance would be the most effective in this issue.

The only problem was that Frank subconsciously did not want to trouble her.

"Donn-I mean, Frank."

Silverbell's ethereal voice was at once mild when she realized it was him. "Why did you call me?"

"Well, you see..."

Frank told her everything that had happened, including how he was framed and thrown in Blackwater.

Silverbell fell silent in turn.

"Blackwater... well, that complicates things."

Frank frowned, as he could tell from Silverbell's voice that this would prove troublesome. "What, is Blackwater not under the government's jurisdiction? You don't get to interfere either?" "Yeah," Silverbell replied, confirming his suspicion.

Still, her tone soon appeared relaxed, "But as the chief of the Martial Alliance, they can't stop me if I want to take someone out with me, though that means I'd have to make the trip myself... so be patient and wait for me, Frank." Frank then hung up, breathing a long sigh of relief.
