At those words, Silverwell drew her sword with a swish, pressing it against Draco's neck as she snapped coolly, "Since you can't decide, why don't I help you right now?" "Argh!"

Feeling the sharpness of Silverbell's sword against his pudgy neck, Draco quickly threw his hands up in panic. "Please, this is a mistake, Lady Silverbell! Breaking out of prison is a capital crime in Draconia! My life is worth nothing, but yours is!" "Are you releasing him or not?!" Silverbell bellowed, pressing her sword into Draco's neck.

Draco's face dropped as he felt the sting of the edge, and his own blood trickling down along it.

He did not expect the chief of the Martial Alliance to go that far for Frank, ready to break him out of prison even if it meant taking Draco down. They were talking about a capital crime here!

Be that as it may, Draco was not really concerned about escaping inmates-the only thing he worried about was what Silverbell would do. So much as one flick, and it was his head on the floor.

Remembering the numbers on his bank account and the riches waiting to be spent over the rest of his life, he finally knew fear.

Dropping to his knees with a thud, he begged Silverbell, "Please don't kill me, Lady Silverbell! Just don't kill me, and I'll do anything for you!"

Silvebell's eyes flashed in disdain at his spineless reaction, though she soon hid it. "All I want is the release of one inmate. As long as you agree to stay silent and not issue the Blackwater Designation, you have my promise on my honor as the chief of the Martial Alliance, that the son of the Lord of the Southern Woods won't come after you. After all, the Droitners were coercing you, weren't they?"

Seeing Silverbell's cool gaze, Draco came to a realization and nodded repeatedly. "Y-Yes! The Droitners were coercing me by threatening to kill my cousin! I had to arrest the son of the Lord of the Southern Woods for her sake!"

"Heh. At least you're smart." Silver nodded, smiling and sheathing her sword.

As her smile left the kneeling Draco spacing out, she demanded, "What are you looking at me for? Aren't you going to release Frank Lawrence?"

"Oh... Yes! Yes!"

Draco regained his senses at Silverbell's cool prompting, and scrambled to his feet, politely asking Silverbell to follow her down into the underground levels.

As soon as she entered the pitch-black hallway, the stench of rot wafting from the cells of both ends left Silverbell frowning.

"This way, Lady Silverbell." Draco stayed ahead and led Silverbell.

While most of the rowdy inmates quickly turned quiet when they saw Draco, their eyes soon widened and bloodshot, giving Silverbell the feeling that she was walking into the lion's den. Eventually, one of them risked death by calling out, "Hehe, beautiful! Did you come to have fun with a brother?"

The rest of the prison went into an uproar right then.

After all, they had been confined here for god-knows-how-long-forget a beauty like Silverbell, they had not seen a sow for ages.

Naturally, there was a women's prison, but it was separate for this one.

Hence, the eager prisoners were leaping up on the steel bars of their cells as they reached their hands out toward Silverbell, laughing sleazily and mouthing every kind of insult at her.
