Her acquaintance with Angela would surely astonish and evoke envy among her friends.

If Angela could leverage her connections to help the Leedon family overcome their difficulties, that would be even better.

Aurelia, accompanied by Herbert, visited the supermarket on the basement level to buy some of his favorite foods.

As it was almost time for work, she called a taxi for Herbert.

The siblings soon parted ways reluctantly.

Just as she was about to enter the building, Chad gave her a call.

“You haven’t come to see me for two days.

Aurelia apologized, “I’ve been too busy these past few days. I’ll come to see you as soon as I get off work today. Is there anything you’d like to cat? I can pick it up on my way.”

“Uncle Jeremy bought me a bunch of stuff, so I lack nothing, all I need is your presence.” Chad revealed a pitiful aura, similar to that of a child who lacked attention.

Aurelia chuckled lightly. “Alright, I’ll come over as soon as I get off work.”

During the time Chad was hospitalized, not many people came to visit him. It was mostly the nursing staff who took care of him.
