Rowell's voice grew fainter until the line went dead.

Magnus furrowed his brow and pulled the distraught Natalia into his embrace. "Honey, it looks like Rowell's time is running out. Let's go say our goodbyes, okay?"

Natalia threw herself into Magnus' arms, sobbing heartbreakingly. "Honey, I used to hate him so much. I hate how he mistreated my mom and neglected me. But now, hearing his words... my heart hurts so bad. What do I do?"

"Darling, Rowell is your biological father. Blood is thicker than water. No matter how much you've resented him, his blood runs through your veins, so of course, it hurts. Come on, let's go see him." Magnus hel her tightly.

Gradually, Natalia calmed down in Magnus' arms, wiped away her tears, and clung to him. "Honey, when do we leave?"

"Right now. We'll take the private jet. I'll go wake Jonas up so he can come with us," Magnus said, letting go of Natalia to rouse their son.

Natalia got dressed and began to pack.

"Jonas, we're heading to the UK. Get ready." Magnus woke Jonas up.

Groggy from sleep, Jonas looked up at his dad's anxious face. "What's happened? Dad, why are we going to the UK?"

Touched by Jonas' mature reaction, Magnus replied warmly, "Your grandpa isn't doing well. We're going to be there for your mom to see him one last time."

"Okay," Jonas said, quickly getting dressed. The family packed lightly and headed for the private airstrip.

At 2 AM, their plane left Hawaii, bound for the UK. They landed in the UK at 7 AM and rushed to Rowell's estate.

The mansion was eerily quiet. Natalia pushed open the door and saw Alice and her mother sitting on the couch, startled by her sudden arrival.

"Natalia, what are you doing here?" Alice stood up, looking flustered at Natalia.

"I've come to see my dad," Natalia said, bypassing the pleasantries and heading straight for Rowell's room. She didn't want to lay eyes on Alice and Lydia. "Stop right there!" Lydia shouted.

Natalia turned to face her with an icy gaze, "I'm here at Mr. Rowell's request." She didn't want to exchange words with Lydia.

"Weren't you just calling him 'dad?' Now it's Mr. Rowell? What, you hope he dies soon so you can come back and claim the inheritance? Dream on, Natalia!" Lydia shrieked.

"Enough! Who cares about your inheritance? The Andersen Corporation could buy a hundred families like the McKinneys. Do you really think anyone is after your petty assets?" Magnus' dark eyes glinted fiercely, and Lydia took a step back in alarm. She then turned to see Magnus and Jonas by Natalia's side, feeling a wave of panic. This family was impressive.

On the other hand, Alice couldn't take her eyes off Magnus and Jonas. She envied Natalia's fortune - landing such a handsome and wealthy husband and having such a beautiful son. Her gaze toward Natalia was venomous with jealousy. Why did Natalia always seem to have everything better?

Natalia didn't want to give the two women another glance; she walked straight into Rowell's bedroom and pushed the door open.

Rowell lay on the bed, pale and gaunt, hardly seeming to breathe. Hearing the door, he opened his clouded eyes, and a look of surprise crossed his face when he saw Natalia. "Natalia... you finally came to see me." Rowell said, his voice filled with joy.

Ignoring the pungent odor of sickness in the room, Natalia approached the bedside. "Yeah, I'm here. Why didn't you go to the hospital? Come on, I'll take you."

"Not... not worth it... Natalia, they've sent me home from the Royal Hospital. You came just in time..." he trailed off, struggling to pull something from behind him.

He reached out, and Natalia helped him, only to see three pieces of paper with the prominent words, [Deed of Gift.]

Rowell handed the papers to Natalia, saying with difficulty, "Natalia... I've wronged your mother... and you. This is the inheritance I've left for you, certified by a lawyer... Please, will you forgive me?" Rowell's trembling hand seemed to reach for something in the air. Natalia's eyes were already brimming with tears. She took his hand. "Dad, you'll be okay. I'll take you to the hospital right now. I forgive you on behalf of Mom. You have to survive."

Tears fell on Rowell's hand, and his eyes shone like stars at that moment. He was overjoyed to hear Natalia call him 'dad.' "Yes, my child... my dear child, you've forgiven me. I'm so happy..."

"Wait for me... when I go down... I'll apologize to your mother and tell her how kind and smart... and beautiful you are, Natalia..." Rowell's voice was fading, and Natalia was overwhelmed with grief. Rowell's grip on her hand tightened. Suddenly, his grip loosened, and his hand fell limply to the side.

"Dad! Dad, wake up, I've forgiven you. Don't go!" Natalia cried out loud, and Magnus stepped in, trying to feel for any sign of breath in Rowell. He then closed his eyes.

Magnus wrapped Natalia in a tight embrace. "Honey, he's gone."

Natalia's tears cascaded down her cheeks. "His last action... was to give me this..." She handed the will to Magnus.

Sobbing, Natalia threw herself into Magnus' arms, and Jonas, seeing his mommy crying so hard, began to dab at his eyes, too.

Meanwhile, outside, Lydia and Alice were speechless with shock. They were clueless! They could never have imagined that Rowell had already had his will notarized by a lawyer, leaving his estate to Natalia, o all people.

Exchanging a glance, they quickly stepped out of the mansion.

"Alice, can you believe your dad left his fortune to that bitch's daughter? This is unacceptable. You need to dash over to the palace and inform the Queen. Claim that Natalia came back to fight over the inheritance, coerced the lawyer and drove your dad to his grave. Go, now!"

Alice whirled around and sprinted toward the palace, a cold, triumphant smirk playing on her lips.

"Let's see how Natalia wriggles her way out of this one!"
