The King's Omega -
The King’s Omega – Chapter 4
Days passed in which Dayana did not dare to leave her rooms. The king went every time he could, he went to see her, to chat with her. That castle was too strange, there were many closed doors that smelled bad, so she quickly went to the other one, avoiding meeting the people from that place. The smell of books reached her nostrils and before she could reach the place where they were, she was interrupted in her new escape attempt to stay away from Thiago, although it was annoying, she had to comply with what that girl had told her.
– What are you doing? Someone asked in her ear, making her let out a scream. Sorry, you looked very focused.
“I’m just looking for the library,” she said, feeling smaller than unusual. Stay away.
— Sorry, I’m curious to know what omegas are actually like — the beta sniffed at her. You smell nice. I am Simón, I will be your guide and friend here.
– My what?
—The king has assigned me to be your personal servant. “Now you will be living under the same roof as us,” he smiled at her. I would like to know more about you, otherwise it would be too much trouble.
“I also want you to be my friend,” she smiled back. Aren’t you going to run away now that you know I’m an omega girl?
— Not at all — Simón jumped in his place —. I was there when you arrived and that creature is still alive, as if nothing had happened.
“I understand,” she looked at the door. Can we go in there?
“Yes.” From his pocket he took out a bunch of keys. These are all the keys to this area, because it will be easy to enter without disturbing anyone… I apologize for the dust.
“It’s okay,” they entered the place. “This is huge.” He opened his mouth in a perfect O. Why do they have it so abandoned?
“They have it that way because only the king’s books are here and he almost never comes this way.” He shrugged his shoulders. Do you like it?
“Yes,” he agreed, running his fingers along the shelves. I must ask you something… when I am here, you will tell the king and then you will lock me up.
—Why should I do something like that?
“I don’t have friends in this place,” she said uncomfortably. I have never been welcome anywhere and this is the first.
— I understand and even more so because of what happened with your breakfast… Can I call you with more confidence?
“Yes, of course,” she sat down in one of the chairs that were there. I’ll help you clean it up as soon as we have time… I like this place.
“You barely arrive and you already like this place full of dust,” he was surprised. You can take one of those books, the one you like the most, and go to your room to rest…
“I just left there a moment ago,” he hugged the book. Look for things to clean and come back to help you.
“I’ll do what you told me in case someone comes to bother you,” he smiled uncomfortably at her. I know you have no friends and the people in this castle still think they will die if they come near you.
They cleaned the place for hours. They were tired and hungry, so Simon went in search of something to eat. She was left alone during that time, enjoying the reading that little by little she must have been improving because her father took away her studies when five of her teachers gave up teaching a girl that she has no reason to. exist in this world.
At night, she was eating the dinner that Simón had brought her before leaving at her expense. That night she did not see Thiago, much less in the following days. The closeness seemed to be much further between the two due to their commitments as king.
In all that time that he did not see the king, he did not leave the room, he only went to the library, which was kept closed when he entered. She let out a small sigh, feeling how his entire body felt strange, as if something bad was going to happen to her while he was there.
—There you have it—the same beta from before entered her room along with other boys—. We will take her to where those filthy books that the king doesn’t want are.
“Don’t come closer,” she stood up, running away from them. If they do, the king will punish them…
“The king will not do anything for something worthless.” Two servants grabbed her arm. “If someone replaces you before you die, you better not say anything.” She tied his hands. Because the stones I put in your food will be nothing compared to what I will do to you from now on.
“Please… I didn’t do anything to them,” she shrank in place. Let me go…
“Shh,” she put a piece of cloth in his mouth. Be careful, this can make you die before her – she passed some ropes to the two servants -. Tie up the parasite.
They tied her so tightly that there will surely be marks on her body due to the ropes. She was taken out of the room and the only thing she could see was the back of that woman who had the keys, which of course belonged to Simón. The door of the library was opened and she was taken to the most remote place, where the cleaning utensils that she used daily to keep the place clean were kept.
She was left in that place, but not before throwing dirty water in buckets at her again and again, she felt as if it were truly a curse that she was paying, since she had the use of reason, she was mistreated even by the servants of his father. She couldn’t move, her head was starting to hurt a lot and she was very sleepy. She was beginning to seriously hate her life, not even being far from her father could she be calm without someone trying to kill her thanks to those baseless myths that everyone had about omegas like her.
These were the consequences of her being the only daughter of a ruthless king.
King Thiago was free from his duties the next day, he could finally rest. Things in the kingdom were so calm that it seemed incredible to him that everyone was doing his homework without talking about the person who was close to him. He went to look for Simón in the kitchen, where of course he was not, or so the servants told him, to look for him in his chambers.
“My king,” he bowed half-heartedly. I can’t replace his guest.
—How can you not replace it? Did you look for her in her garden? “He” he grabbed his arm. What the hell happened?
“I don’t know,” he said sincerely. I remember that last night I left her in her room, then when I went to bring her breakfast, like every morning, her bed was the same as the day before, even her room had the door open.
“Shit,” he said. Do you know any place Dayana likes to be?
—I just have to search the library—the alpha frowned—. “We cleaned it the day after she arrived,” he continued, taking the keys out of his pocket. He always stayed there and when it got dark he would take a book or two with him so he could read them without any problem.
“I understand.” The king’s chest was beginning to hurt. Let’s go quickly.
Simon put the key in the lock, replaceing the door open. That wasn’t good. The smell of scared omega caught his attention. The first to go in search of the omega was Thiago following his scent and also the aroma that he was letting out due to his fear.
“Dayana,” he called, removing her hair from her face. She wakes up, little one.
“I don’t think he will if he’s been here since last night,” was all Simon could say. “We have to remove those ropes and take her back to her room so she can rest,” he indicated. I will do everything in my power so that girl can be calm.
“I hope she can work out whatever you want to do.” A sigh left her lips. You must investigate who is the cause of her being this way, I don’t want her to go unpunished.
“She. No, she will stay like this, sir.” She helped him remove the rope from his arms. I still can’t believe how someone so bad exists to do something like that to someone as sweet as Dayana.
“I don’t understand the evil of human beings either,” he said. She looks for something to clean her wound, I’m sure no one will want to save her.
“I will be back before you know it, my lord,” he ran out of the library.
The king took the omega who was unconscious and lacked food and water to the nearest room. He stunk, since the water that was thrown on his body was really smelly.
— I said I was going to protect you, but I am not worthy of having you with me.
