The King's Omega
The King’s Omega – Chapter 9

Dayana realized she was having a wet dream about the king when she fell out of bed and realized something was wrong with her. She couldn’t believe that she had had those kinds of dreams with the person who helped her get out of the pit. It was the first time that something like that had happened to her, it was a bit strange that, being so calm, she was having such strange dreams about her king. Most likely she wouldn’t be able to see Thiago’s face again, it was her fault.

With a pout on her lips she climbed back into bed, hiding her face in the pillows because of how pathetic she was for doing that kind of thing with him in a dream. Luckily there was no one in the room for him to see how pathetic she was to have such a realistic dream with his master. The sun was rising in the east, so he opted to get up before the scheduled time and then went to the bathroom to take off his wet clothes.

—I didn’t remember this being so pathetic for me—he let out a long sigh, realizing that he needed to take a little longer than he had in mind.

The next day, she couldn’t see Thiago in her eyes. That dream she had about that guy was too embarrassing.

—Why aren’t you looking at me? Did I do something to embarrass you? —Thiago sat next to him at the window—. Plus, you smell like something tasty that of course I want to eat…

—What? —He asked with a thin voice—. What did you say?

“That you smell like something I want to devour like you have no idea,” he approached her. Why do you get so nervous?

—Why do you tell me that kind of thing so lightly? What if someone listens to the king with his mouth so loose?

— You said it well, I am the king. “Everything is forgiven.” The alpha caressed his cheek. Since you’ve been living in my castle… my mouth lets out many things that I hate and believe me, I…

“You will make my whole body react to your words in unimaginable ways,” he walked away. I ask you to please try not to show favoritism towards me.

—Why shouldn’t I have favoritism with you? —The king approached even closer to the omega again, showing interest in her—. I like being with you, the fact that you are an omega is not bad at all…

– That’s the problem – the omega’s voice changed to a sad one. – I… I don’t want anyone to think that the king has any favoritism with me because I am an omega who unfortunately is considered something disgusting to people, don’t you think so?

“I am very willing to give up everything of myself if you allow me,” said the alpha.

– As?

“You’ll know later.” The alpha walked away as soon as the door was opened and some servants entered with trays. I sent for strawberries so you can eat and some honey.

“Thank you.” His cheeks were hot. I really like strawberries.

— I know, your breath always smells like them or lemon juice —Dayana, she couldn’t feel more embarrassed about that. I have decided to fix the library during this week.

—Why do you want to do that? Is there something bothering you?

“The fact that you have to work to treat me like you,” the alpha said, somewhat annoyed. I will never again pressure you to treat me equally. It’s your decision.

— I’m sorry, it’s the custom that my father has taught me for so long that I can’t change overnight —she lowered her gaze—. I’m doing my best to make everything work out now that I’m earning the trust of the king of the south.

“You already have my trust,” the older man took the tray from the servant. You can go.

—Won’t we wait until they finish eating?

— No, I’ll call you as soon as everything is ready for you to take the dishes.

“With your permission,” they said between clenched teeth.

— Many of them don’t like me either — Dayana took the honey —. I still don’t know how the hell my food isn’t poisoned.

—The food they bring here is reviewed by Simón… I would never put you in direct danger—the alpha sat down again in the same place as before. I know that omegas do not have all their senses developed and that they do not know how to differentiate many things.

—Did you forget that I am a woman?

—I won’t forget that—he put a strawberry in his mouth—. You are a very hot thing and even your cheeks are red. Did this king say something that could put this pretty omega in that state?

“He is always saying things that make this omega lose his temper, my lord.” Something inside the king’s pants became hard in search of something.

— I would like to be able to give you a good punishment for disobeying your king by saying those words that you had forbidden — he clicked his tongue — but your skin is so beautiful that the king cannot punish you no matter how much he wants to.

—My king is too good, I love it when he does things for me —she looked towards the window eating a strawberry without realizing that the king was looking at her in a not very sweet way. I would like to see a lake in this country…

—Do you want to leave the castle? —Dayana nodded quickly, looking around the garden. However, every time she took you out of the castle to go to town you looked like they were going to kill you.

“I never make my face like that,” she looked at him offended. I don’t know where the king gets so many things from.

“I’m just saying what I see,” he downplayed the matter. Tomorrow I will take you out of the castle. Just the two of them, without guards and without Simón—that caught the omega’s attention. I would like to show you a place.

– Really?

—Yes—the alpha patted his leg—. Now, I must work.

“I understand,” he pouted sadly. I’ll finish writing here and then go eat.

—Can you wait for me to eat together in the dining room? —Dayana’s eyes almost popped out—. I wish to have your company outside the room, if you don’t mind.

—That’s fine with me.

That day the entire palace came to a complete standstill when they saw them eating so united in the dining room. Lucy stared at him from a distance. She was already tired of that stupid omega, she couldn’t stand her anymore. She swore by the gods that she would kill her with her own hands if it meant the king would finally stay with her and could take her place as her imperial consort.

She even gave flowers to that phenomenon. That night she was going to know what she was made of. She snuck into her room, keeping herself in the dark.

“I told you the king is mine,” she grabbed her by the hair as soon as she entered the room. Now you sit with my king next to him in the dining room? What kind of witchcraft have you done, you damn freak of nature?

– What the hell you want?

– What do I want? —Lucy laughed sarcastically—. “I’ll show you what I’m capable of,” she dragged her towards where the lit candle was. Don’t try anything or I’ll kill you myself.

—What do you want to do to me?

“I’m going to burn your hand.” The beta squeezed the girl’s shoulder a little. I’m going to show you that only I can tame women like you.

Lucy did what she never imagined, she burned her hand and she became so weak that she stopped feeling for a few long seconds. Her eyes closed completely as she felt so much pain. The omega woke up and Lucy was nowhere to be found, but if she had a burn on her hand she wouldn’t heal so quickly. She should have gotten as far away from the king as she could, however, she was selfish, she was too good to get away from the king so easily.

Her father was right about many things, she was a woman who killed her father, she was a murderer and above all the only thing that could attract people was death and destruction. She remembered the moments she spent in the palace with her father, all the things she could not say to her father and above all, the beautiful moments she spent with her king Thiago, the only person who provided him protection.

At that moment, she considered that it was better to stop living.
