THE LAST FINAL SOLUTION
The Teleportees

THREE WEEKS LATER

‘He’s coming around.’ Brian Gordon of Scot’s origin spoke with a fair trace of his heritage even though it was twenty years since his parents immigrated.

He used to wonder where he would be in life if the wealthy Uncle hadn’t died and left his family the money which enabled him to enter College, which was backed up with a scholarship

Here he was, the Head Surgeon/Inventor with the World team, engaged to monitor the health of the fifty chosen ones and put them in the picture about his inventions..

They were a mix of many races, especially chosen to carry out the Mission. Brian was a man who possessed spiritual values but he could not align himself with Religious dogma and if people asked him what his beliefs were he would reply--Probably agnostic. Hedging my bets -- And then he would chuckle with his great laugh winding up into usually a loud guffaw which would at times, lit up a room.

The speeches and the seminars had come and gone and now some of the leaders wanted a show and he was about to give it to them, with some amazing demonstrations of his, and his groups, inventions.

The chosen ones were the focal point; they were the people who would be on the ground, divided into five teams with ten members who would be thoroughly trained, briefed and returned to the Country of their birth; in order for each team to succeed in its mission.

Every chosen one was bereft of any known relatives so that secrecy would be maintained. Isolation was essential, as was the induced comas of three weeks. Apart from the intrusive surgery for some of the group with special micro chips inserted, some had medical problems.

James Martin headed the bold paragraph Format of ‘in need of much repair’. Concussion was paramount to rid his body of bacteria. Brian was proud of the absence of scars, as a result of his Surgery skill on James.

The Thought Machine demonstration was first on the list which would provide the audience with some evidence of how the world would change. James Martin was selected to provide evidence by Teleportation, if it could be fitted in, which would show the paying customers in the audience, of how it would all work.

James stirred from the privacy behind the drawn curtains and opened his eyes. He looked down and saw the blazing white gown, which he wore. He saw specks of blood near his groin and saw that his foreskin was gone, as was his scabs, as was his body smell, which he remembered

.His toe nails were trimmed and his lank hair was trimmed to a modern fashion. A nice looking Nurse with tanned arms, green eyes and a goofy smile of giant white teeth showed him a small mirror which he gazed at, touching his reflection, baring his gums and poking out his tongue which was no longer covered with white fur, just. Like the mat in his old house.

‘Am I in heaven Nurse?’ She smiled the same old goofy smile, just like an old actress whose name he never remembered

‘No James—you are alive and kicking.’ He looked down at his genitals and nodded deep in thought. And they both guessed what each other thought

’Had to go James.”

‘They did a great job’ He touched his groin. how are you Willie?.′ The Nurse laughed and turned back to Brian who was moving in closer.

‘Can I sit up now Nurse?’ Jennie nodded and moved his pillows back where he was able to move; he used his arms to prop himself up.

The Surgeon spoke and James detected the Scot’s accent t (and knew it well), along with his own expanded Irish/Scottish roots as well, in his family. Some of those forebears who went to the U.S.A and made their fortunes during the California Gold Rush in 1845 and some were not so lucky, and some fought on the wrong side in the Civil War.

Others were scalped and others died on the Donner Pass He used to wonder if they all had great big feet as well. His mother certainly wondered about his feet. His father never had big feet.

‘Sorry about that James but it was for your own good. Do you want to stand?’ James swung his legs over the bed and with the help of the nurse stood on shaky legs, twisting his toes about while Jennie gazed down at the great feet, but said nothing—others had though...He looked around the room and judged that over forty people from all races and colors lay in the beds..

‘We have to move on now James, time is the essence. Jennie will help you dress, give you a drink and then you will be shown to an audience of what we intend to do. No do not ask. It is to be spontaneous. However at the end of the demonstration you may be dizzy--.OK.’ James nodded. He had guessed this was going to be world breaking.

James was wheeled out to a table and saw the hushed crowd waiting with anticipation, showing on their faces, almost like watching an execution he thought as they leaned forward and licked their lips the silence was broken when Brian opened up.

‘Ladies and Gentlemen you will be shortly told by others the main objective, however in this hour I will specifically give a demonstration, using one of the tools to be employed in achieving the objective’

A Minister with his white collar, stood up and interjected before Brian could continue His voice had a sharp tone which he used to effect, looking around the room at the same time as if he was giving a sermon to his flock

Brian knew of his obsessive, unchanged view of intelligent design and his dislike of atheism, which he thundered from the pulpit in Maryland.

Though to be fair to him-Brian thought- he was not a right wing hawk he often mused, not like some of those dangerous groups in the North West of the States They were a suicidal Cult intent on destroying any other religion who disagreed with their radical views, and they were on the wish list to be disbanded; with the help of a team from the chosen ones.

Brian invited the Minister’s views within seconds of his quick synopsis; he gave the Reverend permission to speak by lifting his hands in a gesture, which welcomed the standing man to speak.

‘From what I have gleaned ,by almost listening at key holes, is we are here collectively, to participate in a new world experience—as observers I might add—to a mission shortly to be launched, which will, hopefully for ever, rid the world of evil which has been around since God’s Creation. Is that basically correct Doctor?’

Brian thought again-..Had to get in a dig about God—as usual. But he determined not to make a comment about God. He needed all the help he could get. Even with God for the mission to succeed and of late he was reading the old Family Bible for some inspiration. One stuck in his mind which seemed applicable It was fromMatthw 11-16

‘But to what shall I compare this generation? It is like children sitting in the market place and calling to their playmates. We piped to you, and you did not dance: we wailed, and you did not mourn.’ What would Reverend Jones say if he knew I was a student of the Bible and thought that many of the sayings were spot on? Have we learned much since then? It is a question. But easily answered-.no we can’t teach those old people about human nature they know a lot...more than us I think: as were his thoughts in that flash of micro seconds...

‘That is right Reverend Jones. On the button. Bear with me now while I start the demonstration about the thought machine. I need some silence please.’ Jones sat down.

‘Look up at the ceiling and you will see a light flashing downwards- soon. In the business of secrecy I cannot show you the full machine’ Brian nodded to Jennie who wheeled James out until he was directly under the flashing light.

‘OK James. Remember what I said before the light flashed down onto your head that it is part of the Thought Machine. OK.’

‘Yes.’

‘James thinks about someone you hate—who ruined your life – which caused your homeless situation. On the pad I have given you, please write who it is..’ James wrote his wife’s name MARY clearly on the pad and showed it to Brian.

‘Think about what revenge you might carry out on that person.’ James responding thinking about catching Mary with a lover in bed and how he would bash them both. The audience leaned forward in expectation.

They watched as the smile on James face turned down at the corners. His ears reddened to a deep scarlet colour and his head wobbled side to side. Tears coursed down his face and Jennie counted his racing pulse beat and stared with an anxious look at Brian.

Brian held up his hand towards the light and with the control device in his hand whispered four words. ‘TURN IT OFF NOW’ The light stopped flashing.

Turn it of turn it off I can’t stand it.′ James held his head in his hands. Jennie knelt down and spoke gently and then wheeled him back into the ward.

‘It’s off James. It’s off. It’s all ok now.’ James sobbed into her arms and the crowd moaned a collective sigh. Brian immediately intervened.

The Machine has some minor corrections to be made. It is all down to magnetism and waves of energy. James thought an evil thought and within seconds the magnets bounced back to him his causing his distress. You see we are all vibrations and an atom, science has known that for years so it is not a miracle. Imagine all your evil thoughts bouncing back at you and if unchecked will kill you with a bursting blood pressure

No more wars, no more Police or standing armies though there are consequences, if years down the track evil ones replace out about it and adjust it to their means. Nothing is perfect. You people have seen this demonstration and I invite doubters to come forward and try it.′ No one put up their hands.

Silence reined- even thoughts about whether it was a trick or a fraud which were quickly brushed away. However Reverend Jones had to speak.

‘But won’t this, in time, take away free will which God gave us?’ Brian looked around the audience but there were no supporting comments about what Jones said. Brian had to make a comment and he elongated his reply for effect. It needed to be said to counter the argument from Jones, which might disable the program.

So--- look, think about it-- about- what free choice has done for the world.′ The audience clapped at his comment.′ Yet Jones still had one last remark.

‘You will create a Utopia. You are assuming the role of God and that is the first Commandment. No other Gods before me remember it well.’ The audience shouted him down while he walked away into the freezing night of New York City.

‘Your voice will not be heard here Reverend Jones.’ Brian yelled at the back of the departing man. No one spoke and as Brian said later to his staff, after the banquet was over.

‘They need a few weeks to work out their own interpretations. They had best hurry up because Climate Change is moving in fast now. We have to save this planet’ and his team agreed irrespective of views, and after the food had been cleared away two men wearing black suits, but wearing unhappy faces, approached Brian.

They showed him their ID Cards which spelled out the words CENTRAL INTELLIGENCE AGENCY.

‘Ok we have to speak to you now Doctor so listens. Your thought machine is good, well done, but I have been instructed by higher authority that the teams assigned to North Korea and the nuclear plant, and Iran as well, are to be given the devices that don’t have a user penalty for bad thoughts. We want them destroyed. The others are OK. Do you read me.?’

Brian expected he would have trouble with those areas. He had lost some sleep over it. He just nodded sadly to the men who walked out of the Manhattan High raise apartment- towards the lift. He would have to walk softly now the sticking point locations would simply be that the team teleported would be ordered to destroy the threat, irrespective of a heavy loss of life to the teams of nuclear workers.

James Martin ate the best meal he could remember for many years He was ready for any assignment which was offered.

Brian told him later that it was Brazil and the Committee of Business men who were still cutting down the massive trees out of sheer greed, had to have a change of heart or suffer the ultimate consequences.

‘Are you prepared to kill the Business Board? We will train you of course.’ James was briefed in the last weeks few weeks and knew he supported the cause of reversing climate change. And concluded in the night when it was quiet what are a few more lives to achieve a good result for the world and its future? He knew he would go along with their wishes and replied.

’Yes Doc. I can handle it. After all I was a NYC Cop and swore to protect the Citizens. Though somewhere along the line I lost the plot. But thanks to you I’m back on track.

‘Good I will report back. Talk to you later. James.’

And behold I saw a pale horse and its rider and his name was death and Hades followed him and they were given power over a fourth of the earth to kill with sword and with famine and with pestilence and by wild beasts of the east.′
