The Last Royal Luna
(Book 3) – Epilogue 1

“Knock Knock, My Queen.” Asher said as he walked into our bedroom. “I am here to do a temperature check to see if your heat is over or if we need to have some more adult family time.”

“Don’t touch me.” I whimpered curling into a ball on the bed. “I am so cold, I hurt everywhere, and I smell horrible.”

“Baby, just a quick check on your forehead.” He urged me to turn over on my back and put his hand to my face. “Cold. The heat is over. Thank the goddess.”

“Don’t even say you are hurting or tired. There is one of me and several of you.” I growled out sliding my way to the edge of the bed. “I am taking a shower ALONE while someone makes me the biggest, rarest steak with the sides I like and medicine for my privates cause ouch.”

Asher walked around the bed, picked me up bridal style, and carried me into the bathroom. He started a bath, putting in some Epsom salts and lighting a few candles. He made sure to tell me to take my time and if I needed anything let one of them know. He was going to get our food and our dessert! I didn’t care that it was seven in the morning I wanted dessert and he knew it.

Andrew traded places with Asher and took over washing my body. He made sure o to go slow and work the special soap into my muscles. I didn’t have time to be sore after a ten-day heat. Which is unheard of but it was caused by the spell, stress, and relief of having my family back together again. At least we have one of the big meetings done before it hit.

“How do you think the pack Alphas are doing with a few of your new laws?” Andrea asked kissing my neck. “I know our allies were good with it but only after they saw how our old pack ran things.”

“Well a few packs have no leaders since they all fought against us in the last battle so I have Sandra, Roger, and a few other Alphas looking within their pack and the other allies for alpha material. I don’t care if they were born an Alpha if they can’t act like one.” I

replied softly relaxing and doing my best to ignore the twinge of pain in my hoo-ha every time I moved. “I told everyone from the first time meeting each pack that omegas were not beneath us and things would change for them. I meant it and I will enforce it.

They can be anything they want just like anyone else. They will get paid for taking care of the pack just like a caretaker or nurse would. And if one more comes forward that they were r***d by their alpha I will start a collection of hearts to show off each time a new one visits.”

Andrew grimaced. “I am so glad I changed my ways. I am so sorry I hurt you emotionally and mentally in high school. I was an a*s hat and deserve every time you beat my a*s in training.”

“You have turned into such a good little boy.” I tease. “How about now you dry me off with the fluffiest towel and help me dress in the outfit Koda picked out for me?”

He jumped to do as I asked and made sure to take extra time with the towel. The outfit Koda picked out was amazing with how soft it was on my sensitive skin. Koda walked in and took over doing my hair in a French braid as Andrew headed out to meet my parents and help them bring the twins over for breakfast.

“You are the most beautiful woman I have ever seen.” Koda admitted brushing my hair. “I hope the other leaders can get passed their anger that they are being told to make changes my a female. I know I enjoy being told what to do by you.”

“My dirty, sweet man.” I grabbed his arm and lightly bit into his wrist. “I don’t care what they say or do. Females can lead just as well as men so when some of the new Alphas and Betas show up they don’t have a choice but to respect them. Even in their own packs the females are showing how good of warriors they can be and kicking some male a*s.”

“A few other guests will be joining for breakfast is that is ok.” Koda helped me up and let me take a look in the mirror. “Asher linked. Also, he told me to tell you that you are beautiful which we are all in agreement.”

I hugged him and watched him walk out. He told me to wait for the twins. They had a surprise for me and I couldn’t wait so I did as I was told. I made sure to double check I had everything I needed so I can do a full day with my family, kids, and friends while outside getting some sun.

The twins walked in with Jared behind them and the biggest smiles on their faces. They parted and let Jared walk past them. He hugged me tight bringing tears to my eyes. I hated that he was taken but I was so glad he was there for my kids.

After I finally demanded to know what happened, when he said he was just trying to protect me from the truth, he spilled some of the details. My children were treated decent while being fed like they should with formula and no one tried anything funny other than the queen trying to get them to call her momma. What a crazy witch. Jared’s experience on the other hand was worse. It involved wolfsbane, silver, and a very bored king. I healed his wounds before he could even ask once we had left that place. Well, we left when I got to see all the buildings burn to the ground.

“My Queen.” Jared knelt in front of me after I released him from our hug.

“Stop that. You are my father now.” I told him. I felt it was right in my heart but I guess I surprised him.

“What?” He gasped.

“You have taught me how to be the best Queen I can.” I admitted. “You have loved me even when I thought of rejecting the twins. You protected the twins when we couldn’t. You have been there for every step since I met you and I know my father would be ok with me having three dads as long as he was included.”

Jared grabbed me into a rib crushing hug bawling like a baby sending me over the edge with him and the twins fighting joining us. I meant every word. I hoped he realized I had a position for him now that the heat fuzzy brain had ended.

Jared stepped back and pulled out a jewelry box behind him. He opened it up to show a beautiful red jeweled necklace. It looked so familiar.

“This was what your mother wore the day you were born and on the day they announced to the pack you were to be the next ruler when you were just a few months old.” Jared shared getting the necklace out of the box. “It was her mothers and her mothers before. Now it is yours and one day your daughter will wear it.”

“I will only accept it if you accept your new position within the royal leaders.” I smirked knowing he wouldn’t turn me down. He did scowl a bit but nodded. “Good, I love having a new advisor/ magic trainer around.”

We all hugged before Jared left leaving me with the twins. They each had a box of their own with jewelry inside. Knox had matching earrings to my necklace that he slowly put on with k****s in between each step. Kane had a bracelet that he put on after marking my wrist with his scent and tongue.

“Now lets head down to breakfast.” They said before pulling me from the room.

Edgar and Blake were waiting for me at the top of the stairs. The twins left me with them. They raced each other down the stairs with Kane falling over his own feet.

“The guests are Sandra and Samuel, Gamma Greg who has been warned about an attitude, Tyler, each of our parents and siblings, Alistair and Mel, and Roger along with his mate and adopted daughter.” Edgar smiled at me.

“Dang, it’s the whole gang.” I laughed taking his and Blakes arms. “Is this a surprise meeting or are they dropping in because they are mad about something?”

“Everyone just missed us I guess.” Blake said kissing my cheek. “The twins are dying to see their momma.”

That put some pep in my step and I ran down the stairs into the dining room. Everyone was seated and stopped talking when I walked in. I just waved at them and rushed to my babies. Asher held our baby girl and my mom held my chunky boy. I was about to reach out for them when my sweet girl tried to talk.

“m…muh..” She gave a small growl and tried again. “Mom-ma. Momma.”

I picked her up and squeezed her tight. “My baby girl learning words already. I knew I would be your first word!” I stuck my tongue out at Asher.

“MOMMA!” My boy yelled not happy he wasn’t in my arms with his sister.

I jumped and laughed. He got a big hug and k**s too. They lost interest in me pretty quick when Parker walked in with Mel’s little girl and both wobbled to them.

Parker and his chosen mate were having them over at his house for the night for a test drive. They want to adopt and have the opportunity to do so now. I had found there were a lot of orphans like I thought and not just wolves. I set up houses and foster parents as soon as we got back for all of them. Two five-year-old vampire boys were with us for two weeks before we found them the perfect home. I missed them but I got to call whenever I wanted.

Roger waved Parker over mentioning how their daughter would love some kids to play with. Parker’s mate waved her own with a smile. She was the cutest mix of her parents, the late beta couple of Rogers pack, and walked better than my twins when running straight into Parkers legs.

“Now, what do I owe for the large party?” I asked with a smile.

“We still have much to fix and change within the packs but I am here now because after so many months together I miss your face.” Tyler admitted smiling. “Plus Heath told me if I didn’t visit you he would get out of his hospital bed and we don’t want that.”

“No, we don’t.” I nodded.

“You put him there so why should you care!” Gamma Greg mumbled under his breath.

“Shut up, Greg.” Sandra growled. “You are on thin ice as it is. After the way you hid when we were attacked while she took on the Queen for all of us you should be graveling. She helped your son stay alive after his mate was killed. His mate who was also Ryders friend and royal protector.”

Greg shoved back from the table fuming. “I don’t care what she was doing. I ran because I knew I’d rather live than die for a queen like her.” Growls came from everyone in the room. I just sat and watched him. “His mate wouldn’t have died if she wasn’t friends with her. Our lives went downhill as soon as she killed Oliver. I hope she dies.”

Asher and Edgar were across the table tackling him just a few seconds later. I was just stunned. I had became friends with Heath just as much as Kailey and loved them the same. I was there for them for everything and would have risked my life for both of them no matter what their positions were.

They pulled him up whispering threats in his ears while two warriors walked in. “Take him to the cells. I am done with him. Maybe a few nights there will clear up some of his delusions.” Edgar ordered.

Tyler looked at him with anger but sadness shone through for a second. “Tyler, you ok?” I asked him.

“Yea. What he said was wrong but..” He wouldn’t look me in the eye.

“But he is your best friends father and it is hard seeing that knowing you will haver to tell him.” I finished for him.

“That and Heath and I decided we wanted to stay in the royal pack with you. Greg will cause a lot of issues with that.”

“I will handle him.” I said keeping my eyes on him. “Look at me.” I waited until he did. “You are both welcome here. I would love you here and I know my mates would as well.” They all chimed in and agreed.

“Taking my pack members, huh?” Samuel teased.

I just shrugged and dug in. Everyone started chatting it up and talking over the different changes we had made with the Omegas, females leading, new alphas, and more. They all seemed happy about them and saw the positive side to it.

“What about the prophecy from the witch about our kids?” Mel whispered to me.

“It won’t happen on my watch.” I growled out. “Our kids will be safe from now on no matter what.”

I was so glad we all had made it through this stronger and closer. I knew they would protect our children just like I would protect any of theirs. I would do what ever I needed to make sure that prophecy doesn’t happen. None of my children current or future will have something like that hanging over their head.
