Chapter 26

I ran over to the guys and took a deep breath in. Holy crap I am fighting another alpha in the same damn day! What is with these power-hungry men and thinking I can be used or told what to do.

“Ryder, listen my dad can be super sneaky and cheats how ever he can in a fight. Some of the warriors around us are loyal only to him and not the pack.” Asher put his arm around me and held me close. I took a deep breath in and he smelled amazing. “I think the best way to do this is one of us be closer to those warriors to keep them in check and another of us on the other side so her uncle doesn’t try anything stupid.”

“I agree with that. The last one of us should just keep their eyes on the fight and make sure the fight stays clean. How are you doing on the front of taking another life?” Blake stepped closer but stopped with a questioning face. I put my hand out to grab his and pulled him in closer, sniffing his neck to calm my nerves. I could tell that I was calming them as well but still felt this nagging feeling that I had to hug them all or the calm would just disappear.

“Andrew, get over here and get in on our group hug. I am guessing this may be a daily thing from now on!” I winked at him before watching his mouth drop open. “Just get over here. Blake I taking lives and Josiah’s was the first I have ever taken. I still in shock but I knew that death would be a part of my life with power hungry people in the world. I just hope putting my trust in you three doesn’t bite me in the a*s.” Andrew walked over at that and hugged me so tight I could barely breath.

“We promise we are here as your friends, mates, subjects, and anything else you need from us. Let’s focus on you beating my dad’s a*s and taking over our pack.” I kissed him on the cheek then proceeded to k**s all of them on the cheek.

“Let’s do this already! Just so you know when I win this fight, I won’t be killing you. I will be marking you as mine and we will mate on the full moon in a few days. Your power will be mine.” Oliver stepped closer and his warriors made a circle around us with my uncle behind them.

I shook my head and stepped closer while my mates took their positions by the warriors, my uncle, and close to me so I would win fairly. “Well just so you know when I win this fight I will be ripping your throat out and taking over your pack. Your son’s will be the alpha’s and be better leaders than you ever could be.” I sneered before leaping toward him, shifting into Blue and raking my claws down his chest before he could shift. I backed up and started to circle him. Blue was practically purring at seeing his bleed before her and I mentally high fived her.

Oliver howled and shifted into a pitch-black wolf with golden eyes. He was huge but still smaller than me which gave me another reason to smile. He pawed at the ground before rushing toward me. I moved to jump over him when he lowered down like he wanted to take out my legs but lifted up quickly to grab my back leg as I jumped over him. He yanked me down to the ground and bit down, drawing b***d. I used my front two paws and swiped at his face, scratching his eye, and making him let go long enough for me to back away from him.

‘Blue, we got this girl!’ She nods her head and starts to get herself pumped back up. When Oliver turns back toward us we run a circle around him before grabbing his back leg and flipping him over with enough force to break his back leg. He whimpers before lashing out trying to bite into us anywhere he can get a hold of. Blue goes straight for his exposed stomach, biting down over and over, and clawing at his ribs. His legs are thrashing around and finally land a hit hard enough on me to force me off of him for a second, but it was enough for him to turn over onto his legs and tackled me head on. I flew across the ground and flipped onto my feet in a hurry.

I heard growling behind me and I heard Andrew yelling which meant the warriors were starting in. I turned around to make them stay and not intervene but before I could Oliver had tackled me to the ground and had his mouth on my throat. He growled with satisfaction and I could feel the l**t for power coming off him in waves. ‘His wolf is saying disgusting things, Ryder. This needs to end quickly.’ I felt Blue shiver from the disgust and I could only agree.

“HA! I knew you were really a weak wolf that wasn’t worth the powers that were given to you! Your parents would be ashamed of how pathetic you are!” My uncle was waving his arms around with a sneer on his face repeating this words over and over like he was the one I was losing to. Blake walked over to him and punched him in his stomach making him lose his breath from the pain. It liberated some of my anger but not all of it. Calling me weak was fine but bringing up my parents crossed a line. I felt myself going feral, my hearing decreasing so my sole focus was on taking out Oliver so I could demolish my uncle.

“Ryder! Ignore your uncle and everything else around you! Take out Oliver so you can come back to us, to me. Please!” I could barely hear Asher but he had laid down on the ground and looked into my eyes when he spoke. I closed my eyes for a second and opened them up to have them glowing purple from rage and love. Oliver started to bite down harder to make me submit without damaging Blue too much. What a weak man to think even if he won I would submit my body to his touch. I growled loudly while curling my body in and then flinging my body back open catching his legs with mine pulling him back just a bit and the surprise of it all made his jaws release most of the pressure. I whipped my head to the side catching his eye with my jawbone and making my body follow that movement to roll into him. He was knocked to the ground and I stood over him.

He thought I would hesitate or forgive him but before he could utter a sound of faked regret I had my teeth in his jugular and I ripped it out. B***d sprayed the ground and my body but Blue and I didn’t care. We were done and we have won. Blue howled with dominance and looked into the eyes of all the warriors. All but a handful bowed submitted to us and our claim as alpha. The others tried to run but the boys took care of them for me. I was glad I didn’t have to take another life but I would of if it came down to it.

Blake had my uncle pinned to the ground with his foot on his back and my uncles face covered in dirt. It made me smile and I couldn’t wait to see what my dad had in store for him. I trotted over to Asher and nudged his legs to get his attention. He rubbed my ears and scratched my back making Blue fall more in love with him. ‘ We should mate him right now. Mark him as ours. Please, Please!’ I shook my head no and laughed at her eagerness. I nudged him again and then sat down on my rear legs forgetting that one of them had gotten hurt. I whined and stood back up but my whimpering made Andrew and Asher rush to get my clothes so they could see my wound better on my human body. The clothes they had brought me were the last from my pack out here which meant beggars couldn’t be choosers, so I got to wear a sublime t shirt three sizes too big and short shorts that barely covered my butt. Blake was yelling to check me over or switch him out so he could do it. Dang mates being overprotective.
