Chapter 38

By the time the guys join me Blue is getting so impatient she is running circles in my head making me dizzy. I don’t even wait for them to get to me before I ripping off my clothes to shift. If Blue wasn’t being so impatient and annoying I would of thought twice about showing off the goods to my mates but it was too late now. They all got an eyeful of the front and back before I shifted into my nearly white wolf and barked at them to shift. It took them a moment to get their minds out of the gutter before shifting into their wolves and when they did Blue was the one panting over them.

Asher’s wolf was black with a white paw and a white tip to his tail. His eyes were grey with flecks of gold in them. He was instantly bouncy and ran up to me before stopping when I growled. Blue mentioned the wolf’s name was Brutus and he had no manners but she would teach him to be a better doggy. We laughed making a funny noise that was between a bark and a growl. Brutus turned toward us before sitting down and waiting for the others to shift.

Andrew’s wolf was beautiful, and Blue was jealous of his eye color being green. It was like they glowed against grey fur. He had white patches on ear and the top part of his snout. He stayed where he was and looked me all over with his eyes relaying that he was smiling and interested. Blue looked at him with her head c****d to one side trying to figure out his deal because most wolves instantly come over to sniff her butt. He did link over his name and it is Raider.

Blakes wolf was only slightly smaller than the other two but with his reddish brown fur color he looked more built. He is also had white spots on the tip of his tail on bis two front paws. His eyes were the color of liquid dark chocolate and it seemed like they just pulled you in so you couldn’t stop staring. He trotted over as soon as he had shifted to sniff the other two guys and lick their faces before heading over to me. He stayed back enough Blue didn’t seem threatened and trotted around us in a circle. He slowly got closer and licked our snout. He introduced himself as Flynn. Blue growled playfully and ran off towards the woods with the guys hot on her tail.

It seemed like the guys had white tips on their bodies just like Blue. I wonder if it was a mate thing since I had them as well. I wonder if that will help me replace my other mates. I hope I won’t have to travel to every single pack and wait to replace them. I wasn’t ready yet since I hadn’t bonded with these guys yet but when we got back to the pack house it needed to happen. We all needed each other and I knew Blue was done holding back. I just hoped it was able to wait so I could do it in human form first because I was not ready to do the doggy style as a literal dog.

Blue and I could hear the growls of frustration behind us and it made us laugh. They had tried to catch up to us and stay pace with us but it never worked. They each had caught up but were only able to keep our pace for very long. I convinced Blue to slow down and it was only to link with them about replaceing dinner for the pack and themselves. She was ready to show them how she was going to kick their a*s in hunting as well as racing. Good thing she was an Alpha because this dominate side to her would suck if she was a lower-level wolf.

‘Brutus, Raider, Flynn let’s catch dinner for the pack and ourselves so it will go easier on them tonight. It is going to be hard to say goodbye to the pack lands and their dead.’ Blue linked as we waited for them to catch up.

‘Sounds good to me. Are you ready to see how a real Alpha gets dinner?’ Raider was trying to get under my skin but I just ignored it. We would see in the end and it would be me on top. Blake linked back something along the same lines before they all three showed up. We all looked at one another before taking off again in separate directions. They all felt the call of the hunt and the competition was on.

I could feel the guy’s happiness and smugness through our bond. Asher linked that he took down a doe but his smugness was tanked when Blake announced he had gotten a buck. Andrew ended up with a buck as well but with its size and how long its antlers were he was much bigger than Blakes. They all kept making comments on my squirrel hunting or if I needed help catching a hopping bunny. Blue snorted at them and kept her nose to the ground tracking the smell of a moose. It wasn’t long before we caught up to the big guy and he was a big guy. I am pretty sure it was a male and called a bull. He wasn’t even paying attention and that is what got him in the end. I snuck up behind him and leaped onto his back. He instantly reared back but I held on by digging my claws into his skin. I climbed my way to his neck and bit down on his spinal cord severing it. He instantly fell giving me an advance when I finally was able to finish breaking his neck so that he died without any more pain. I stepped back and send a mental image to the guys. My bull was definitely bigger and weighed more so I would be feeding more of the pack. We probably had more than enough meat but we could bring extra back with us. They all g*****d and headed my way with their kills. I was a bit closer to the pack so we would head back from here. We might need some help with this big guy.

‘Beta, this is Ryder. Are the warriors here yet?” Blue asked as she was cleaning off her fur. I felt like there were eyes on me but when we looked around there wasn’t anything.

‘Holy s**t. How can you link me when we aren’t linked to you yet?’ I had felt his surprise and I smirked.

‘Its one of my many gifts as a royal. And if they are there I need help with this big guy.’ I ended the message with a picture of the bull.

‘Yes they are here. I am sending them your way. From the look of the picture you aren’t far from us but it is getting dark. Watch out for the b***d suckers. I don’t need to help another pack replace another alpha.’ What a jerk.

It wasn’t long before the guys got to me along with the warriors. We sent the back with the meat and we took our time getting back. I instantly regretted it when we heard the branch break. I looked around and didn’t see anything but Blue smelt them before they got to us. Vampires.

‘Vampires are here. Get the pack inside the house and watch all entrances. Keep the pups safe.’ I screamed in all the warriors and the packs minds before focusing on the two vamps who were headed my way. Blue smirked before meeting them half way by leaping up and ripping one of their heads clean off. Its body had turned to dust before it landed on the ground. The other had missed us with their jump but instantly turned back around. They leaped again and we let them think they got us but turned right when their teeth were close to our body and Blue ripped its throat out. Two down and who knows how many to go.
